PLEASE NOTE: This review is for shopping only…read more I always prefer to support local, but after two failed attempts at going to independent pet stores that didn't carry any rabbit stuff (actually, that's not true, one place showed me their rabbit stuff, e.g. the dog food that contained rabbit meat and the dog toys that contained rabbit hide/fur... awkkkkkkwaaaard) I stopped at this PetSmart in need of back-up hay; I found the usual Oxbow (don't buy their hay; it's bad, bad, bad), but also the in-house Full Cheeks brand (which I can't speak on yet). Picked up a 40oz bag of it, my rabbit's usual bedding, and my rabbit's usual treat for the same price I pay for it online (and, actually, it was $10 cheaper because they were having a small critter sale). While this won't become a regular stop for me, it was a quick experience made pleasant by the very friendly woman cashing me out!

I am not a cat person, severely allergic. But I wanted to get Loki, my mom's cat's nails trimmed,…read moreso I made an appointment at PetSmart. Loki isn't great about cat carriers, and he is one of those cats that you think loves you until he claws out... So Lindsey was the groomer and, while I was fearful that Loki might act up - she reported that he was the best. (I privately wondered if maybe she switched him... but once at home he was the same). He had a dry wash and brush - and his coat is awesome and he smells great - plus his nails are nicely trimmed. Yay! My only downside was a lack of understanding how the process works - and check out was a bit slow.

What a remarkable experience all the wayaround Falyn, at the front desk, is as warm, professional,…read moreand helpful as I've ever found in a service establishment :-) The facility is incredibly clean and efficient, and the stress level for dogs here is SO LOW!!‼ We used to take our slightly anxious Husky to PetSmart, where we first met Danielle several years ago. She was so kind and patient with Ember, who always came out looking absolutely beautiful, that we only ever wanted to work with her. The pace at PetSmart was fairly frenetic, but Danielle was always cool, calm, and collected. I worried that she might leave one day after becoming the head groomer, and was lucky enough to get her to share her contact info with me. We reconnected and Ember just had her first grooming at the Soggy Dog. We couldn't possibly be happier! We are absolutely over the moon to be back in Danielle's caring hands In this lovely spot. They're incredibly well set up for self bathing, and all of their services are top notch!! THRILLED to have found them, and especially that Danielle is here!!

Worst establishment ever. And I am not alone in stating this: see review dated 2/21/25: "the owner…read moreYELLED at us and hung up on us. The owner, Matthew, hates talking to customers." YES: the owner has anger issues and should find another line of work. My husband had planned to take our dog in for scheduled grooming appointment and when he looked up the business address to confirm directions, saw that the business hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10-5. As our appointment was on a Monday, my husband then tried to call the store, 4 times, to confirm they were open before he made the one-hour round trip to get there. No answer, no outgoing message ever picked up. Based on the business's stated hours as being closed on Mondays, and the fact that no one answered the buissness's phone, he reasoned there had been a mix up, and that there was no appointment. Shortly thereafter, I received a text stating our appointment was cancelled, as dog had not arrived. I tried calling, no answer, no outgoing message picked up. I decided to text back to the number that told me our appointment was cancelled, and then I received a phone call from the INCREDIBLY BELLIGERENT owner, Matthew, who, like the previous reviewer stated, yellled at me, said if I had listened to the outgoing message, I would have understood that even though the business is closed on Mondays, the groomers are still there (the absolute disconnect between what "closed" means and "groomers are still there" apparently makes sense to Matthew. When I later listened to the outgoing message in full, I found no message at all saying "business is closed but groomers are there" :: he lied about that); he then hung up on me. Anger issues does not begin to describe this person's disposition. Suffice to say, we will NEVER go back, and I would advise any potential customer to go anyplace else. Anyplace at all. THE WORST BUSINESS.
