Regardless of what's going on with my pets, she makes it out to seem like I am not doing enough. I have enjoyed every other staff member, whether Dr. or vet tech, and I'm overall very grateful for the attention they give to my pets.

When they see their "dog bag" packed up they can't wait to get into the car. They come home tired and happy. They love it there. The facility is located on seven private acres far away from any busy streets. There are several large fenced in areas where they can play with their dog friends. There are no kennels inside but rather comfortable chairs and dog beds where all the dogs can relax. Like being home. Most important for me is how the staff treats my dogs as if they are their own. Very caring. Robin, the owner is so knowledgeable about dogs. She has helped me with my own dog's behavior. I trust her totally. Everyone at Meadowsweet communicates very well. I always know what's going on and feel my dogs are safe at Meadowsweet. You will not find a better place than Meadowsweet for your dogs.

They then asked for two adult non-related references (!) and then subjected the family to the most intrusive and rude boundry-overstepping that I have come across in a awhile. Never-ending emails over the course of a week criticizing the toys that they had for the hamster, telling them which food to buy, which bedding to buy, what room to keep him in...yes I am serious. If I could give zero stars I would. They ended up saying forget it and to not worry about it but really, I am upset that they were subjected to this by their adoption counselor (really a person who is fostering the animal) but more than that I feel sad for the animal/animals that could go to a loving home but instead will be stuck in foster care.

Other than that I have had a few issues when it comes to billing, being charged for shots the animals didnt get and other charges that dont make sense and I have to say it is a pain to get them to reverse the charges so if you go there check about all costs up front and double check before handing them a credit card/cash. Also on my last visit I had someone other than Dr. Clark, I wont mention her name but she was very dismissive of any issues and spent no time at all looking at my cat. So while my last experience was iffy at best I may go back to see Dr. Clark in the future.
