I had the intention of using my care card. (A credit card for vet bills specifically). When I called to make the appointment I asked if they took that. I was told they did. And that's all that was said. When I went to check out it was "you can. But we have to bill you for a certain dollar amount to it. We can't use for less than this dollar amount. If we did we can credit your next service." Which I thought was wrong. I think they should have told me that on the phone when I asked about care credit in general. As I didn't have money I could actually spend at the time so that was my only payment option and it didn't have more than I actually needed on it so they could not over charge me to then credit me later. I had to borrow money from my ride. I was very upset with that.

We were met with such compassion, kindness, warmth and understanding that it alleviated any concerns that we may have had as to how our dearly departed would be treated. Linda was kind enough to place Blobbo's remains in the urn that we had purchased elsewhere and, despite our not having requested anything other than clippings of our dear Blobbo's fur, (and we received quite a bit of that - thank you again, Linda,) we also received a lovely remembrance packet that contained his paw print on a heart-shaped piece of plaster, a lovely little remembrance bracelet, some wind chimes that will always remind us of our dear boy, a votive candle, and some candies. Finally, there was also a certificate as to individual cremation having been done that also contained a paw print on it. All of this was contained in a nice tote that was ours to keep and another reminder of our Blobbo. Thank you, Linda and Fluke's Aftercare, for the best possible experience we ever could have hoped to have under very sad circumstances.

I will say that I did not personally utilize Fluke's Aftercare for cremation services. However,…read moremonths before my heart and soul became ill I made sure I had things in place for his passing. He was getting up there in age and I wanted to make sure I didn't have to make difficult decisions on the actual day. I had set something up with a local pet cremation service and felt good with that decision. When the day had arrived, I called the place I had established with and was met with absolute horrific treatment. I was absolutely appalled at the stark differences in treatment I had received from this gentleman and just could not bear the thought of bringing my love to him. I couldn't trust him after that! He was cold, heartless, and even suggested I place my baby "outside in a box or something. Whatever." for the night. Absolutely disgusting. I began making some calls to try and figure things out with what little time we had left. That was when I connected with Linda, whose kind words and compassion helped to bring my shattered heart together for a moment. She helped guide me and offered to help even though I was hours away. Most importantly, though, she encouraged me to go spend the last few moments with my baby. And I did. I hung up with her still not knowing what I was going to do afterwards, but knowing I wanted to be with him and the rest would fall into place. So I wanted to thank you, Linda. Your compassion reached me in my hour of need and made me feel like my heart was a valid life who deserved the best I could offer. When I think back on that day in my grief, you are the bright spot in the center of it that kept me from completely shattering to bits. Thank you for being there, for offering to help, and for doing what you do.

We trust them in their ability to assess dog behavior, monitor and keep safe our pets and have been using them for about 8 years now. I wouldn't normally post a review - to be very honest - because they are already sought after and so it is challenging to sometimes get a reservation--- but was surprised to see the low reviews and this business is, very literally, one of the best in the business. No business is perfect and of course won't please everyone all the time -- but this business really deserves 5 stars.

Dr. Penny and her staff are amazing! The E-Vet made a misdiagnosis and their prescribed medications made our boy extremely dehydrated, but Dr. Penny has been able to get him a little better. He might be away from us for at least another night, if not two. The staff at Companion Animal Clinic are helpful, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, patient and I can tell they really do care about us and our babies. I won't trust another vet ever! I will recommend CAC to all friends and family.
