Just an FYI Zolman Tire on Edison St. In Mishawaka is a ripoff. I took the kids car up a few months…read moreago for a bad air sensor and my van last month for a thermostat replacement. Both time we had it tested at auto zone and had the print out with the codes and what was wrong with them. Zolman's charged us $130 each time to retest the codes to be sure that was what was wrong. Today I had the check engine light come on and had auto zone test it and was told I had a bad oil pressure switch. I went to Zolman's and told them I just wanted to buy the part and have it put on. They refused to do it without testing again. I told them i wasn't paying $130 for them to just to tell me what I already knew. Again i had the print out with what part I needed and the computer codes. They refused to touch the van unless I paid them $130 to do their own test. It's a scam. They use the exact same code reader that auto zone uses. You plug it in let it read the computer and then plug it into your pc to get the readouts. Takes less than 5 minutes but they want to charge you $130 to do that. I've never seen a mechanic that refuses to just put a part on if you specifically ask for the part by name and tell them not to do a computer check 1st. It's just an upcharge to get them more money. Took it to another garage and they were happy to fix it and not charge to retest something that didn't need retesting. So shop around if you don't want to waste an extra $130 for something any auto zone will do for free.

This is the only auto shop. I take my cars too. They're honest and trustworthy and I've been doing…read morebusiness with him for seven years. Highly recommend.
