Cory gives us the run around every time, promises installation, even gave a date and time. Here it is, mid June and my parents still DO NOT have these items and services that they PAID FOR back in mid March. Cory even tried to make me feel guilty by telling me everyone there works full time elsewhere and they do this on a volunteer basis. Ok. Great! Volunteer or not, when someone (an elderly couple at that) pays for something, you should have the decency to fulfill the order or refund the money. $1500 is a lot of money to most people, especially elderly who are on a fixed income and just wanted a flag to fly in their yard. Sad. This is very sad to see.

I needed very urgent assistance from anyone to help expedite a painful process involving the…read moreIllinois Dep't of Financial and Professional Regulation, located in the convenient location of Springfield, IL. Essentially, I needed a trustworthy individual to function as my proxy to pick up an important document on my behalf and then mail it out overnight. I just moved from Chicago and my Chicago friends all work so no one was available to spare the round trip 3.5 hr train ride. So I was looking for a stranger that could help me out. I tried Task Rabbit and immediately got an offer that was ridiculously expensive since they would have to come from Chicago to do it. So I turned to Yelp to see if there were any reliable services I could find in Springfield, IL. There isn't much variety in Springfield, so I turned to the first law office I found which had a single 5-star rating. Mike Logan himself picked up the phone from the Law Offices of Mike Logan at 4:30 pm. After a 5 minute desperate explanation, he quickly understood my dilemma and without hesitation told me to detail in email/fax whatever I needed him to do and attach the necessary documents. Not only was I shocked that he fielded my call but that he stayed on the line with me. He could have easily interrupted me and told me that he only specializes in Bankruptcy Law. The very next day he calls me personally and tells me that the document was successfully picked up on my behalf and that he would be sending it overnight to the Medical Board of California as I described for him. His secretary then called me back to ask me for my personal mailing address so she could send me a copy of the document to me for my own records. Insane! I need to meet more people like Mike Logan and his staff. If I ever go bankrupt, I know who I'm calling first. If Mike was willing to help an out-of-stater on a favor requested over the phone having never met him, I can't imagine what he offers his clients in his area of expertise. P.S. I will be reimbursing Mike for overnight postage obviously. I offered to pay for his services and inconvenience but he never once discussed or negotiated for a particular fee. Maybe I'll be getting a fat invoice in the mail but certainly service and people like this are worth paying for. At least I know where to go if the fee does eventually bankrupt me.

They booked me last minute, which was nice. When they arrived they said it would take a few hours to clean & polish. I opted not to polish and told them to yell when they were done cleaning. It was no more than 10 minutes they're calling my name. They said they were done. I was flabbergasted. The original phone estimate was $415 for cleaning only. The onsite guys adjusted it to $315 to reflect actual square footage. The finished floors were dull, streaked, many places not even hit with the cleaner. And the crevices were still dirty. The guys who came to clean were both very nice and tried to go over some places that I pointed out. But the crevices were my main concern and they looked no better. I called the manager and he said the machine is a surface cleaner not a crevice cleaner. All in all my floors would've looked better if I had just use my swiffer. I just spent $300 for nothing and now I'll still have to scrub it by hand. I would not recommend this company for hardwood floor cleaning.

When she did that current year we got a bigger refund.. She then redid the 2 years that Troy did and found that he didn't itemize our deductions at all. We ended up amending those 2 years and got over $4000 EACH year that he had done them.
