Found Freddy's info on YELP and couldn't have been happier! I had called a lot of shops to get info on pricing and their process. I noticed that a lot of the other groomers lacked good communication skills over the phone and they were all ranging around $50. I would go through their pictures and notice cuts/razor burns or other dogs, or just bad stories in general. I decided to call Freddy since he was the only mobile grooming vendor and both of his reviews were good. Freddy set the expectation on the timeframe he would arrive. Texted me before he arrived to verify that we were home. Came to the door and was patient with my over protective 8lb puppy. Freddy went over how short we wanted the dogs hair, and talked to us about the style. After 1 hour our puppy was done. Freddy just walked him back to our home and made sure we liked the cut. He asked if there was anything we wanted fixed. We were so thrilled to have this done in the front of our house! Everything was SUPER easy. We are definitely going to use Freddy moving forward. The only reason I gave him 4 stars instead of 5 was because we noticed that the dog's belly wasn't shaved down near his private part to prevent his penis hair from smelling like urine. In Freddy's defense, I forgot to ask for that area to be cut, I just assumed it would be done. I am pleased that he didn't clean up the anal gland area though! It's safe to say most owners wants to ensure that his/her furry companion can be safe and happy from any grooming service. It pains me because that was my expectation going in with Freddy. Granted, he is a nice guy; however, my cat was physically traumatized from her experience. Multiple overly clipped nails left her to bleed for the coming days after. Since the bleeding continued I've her taken to the local vet. It was there the doctor said that the nails were cut to deep. After consultation with multiple pet owners, a unanimous agreed that a groomer should be professional and additionally careful.
