We are cancelling our loyalty to this establishment! Fred Meyer in Kennewick, WASHINGTON will no longer have our loyalty! Incompetence, followed by staff requesting security personnel, followed by a customer service rep stating she is allowed to assume. We are amazed on this August 10, 2022. This type of actions have been numerous at this location. And today, we take control and we choose to cancel our loyalty and share with others. People business is lacking, and the staff enjoys disrespecting people they determine unfit to frequent this establishment. Yes, they will openly call security when you question a pricing and ask for management. And, it was a question with zero yelling or eye-balling from our side. The staff has taken a blatant approach to negative and attacking in nature. The MAKING IT RIGHT POLICY stinks, and management is responsible for allowing this behavior. The staff in the deli ignore people, and do not do what they say they will do. This behavior IS NOT consistent at other FRED MEYER locations. This 1 star rating is specifically for the KENNEWICK, WA location! August 10, 2022

Big selection of WA and OR beer.

This store had everything I needed, and more, for a week's visit with family in the tri-cities area. The downside? - Meat selection wasn't the greatest. - Yes, as others shared, poor quality carts and wheels need repair. - The watermelon we bought went bad in just a few days The upside? -Very friendly staff -Fresh produce -Gourmet cheese and cracker section. - Good variety of WA abd OR craft beers and ciders. - Delicious bakery items, like the Asiago cheese rolls and fresh bagels. If I lived here, I am sure this would be my grocer of choice.

Expensive for my budget, I mostly go (if I do at all) to check clearance and get stuff that is one sale on a coupon.

If you have a big problem, people just know to move to the bigger cities with a greater diversity and more/bigger Asian grocery stores. However, every now and then, you need a good Asian grocery store and out of the options in the Tri-cities area, this may or may not be the store for you--depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for more fresh Asian vegetables or frozen fish, this store is for you. If you're looking for a greater selection of sauces, dried noodles, mushrooms, etc., check out Columbia Oriental Market across town. This store was smaller than I thought it was going to be inside and the options didn't seem as great as Columbia Oriental. That said, the vegetable section here is bigger than that at Columbia Oriental. But, I believe they probably have the same supplier as having gone to both stores in one day, they seem to have the same selection with the same freshness (this place just had more out on display with all the more space). So, depending on what you need or are looking for, this may be the better grocery store for you! For me personally, I prefer and will go to Columbia Oriental Market over this place simply because I don't think they have as many options when it comes to sauces, powder mixes, and dried foods. But both are worth checking out to make your own decision!

There is a small selection of fresh produce and no meat counter here but a good place to get sauces and frozen items to cook Asian dishes. A nice cooler with some canned fruit juices too like mango. I was a little confused by the layout of the store when I first entered but once you figure out which side to go to it was fine.
