Ron's itself is what you expect from a gas station. Their chicken strips and jojos are pretty dang good. The entire store smells like whatever oil they cook with. You'll smell like it if you're in there more than a few minutes. The real gem is the "taco lady" as we refer to her. BEST street tacos for a killer price. She makes the tortillas fresh in front of you...god bless America they are the best. She is very friendly and kind. There's a language barrier but nothing tacos can't conquer. We were told she either owns or owned a Mexican restaurant in Oregon (maybe Hermiston area) and for whatever reason she's here now. When I was pregnant I craved their tacos nonstop. We probably single-handedly provided record sales numbers for a few months straight. Now I have to go buy some tacos. read more

Ron's Food Mart .... so many memories here as I was growing up. If I got ready for school quickly, my mom brought me here before school (Washington Elementary) to gather a Minute Maid fruit punch for my lunchbox. Afterschool in elementary school, if I was having a rough day and my mom could see it on my face, she'd bring me here for a real chocolate milk bottle... so much thicker and chocolaty-er than buying regular white milk and mixing ovaltine with it. Fast forward to high school; when we got our driver's licenses, it was much easier to drive to Ron's to grab something during our lunch break (from Kennewick High School) instead of rushing down Kennewick Avenue through other traffic and waiting in long lines at Taco Bell or McDonald's (hello? Kamiakin people crowded there, too) which made it even longer to get our lunch. Our senior class officers had their group photo taken for the yearbook in front of Ron's Food Mart. We see it for much more than what it might appear to be. Ron's has been our go-to for many events and outings and we're grateful for its presence in our community. If you're reading this and headed to Ron's - please have a deep fried bean burrito with an extra added squirt of nacho cheese sauce for me? I'd be eternally grateful! read more

Ron's makes the best Coopers Chicken of all the franchise. The workers take care to make sure the chicken and jojo's are well coated with the slightly spicy breading. I have ordered online many times and always include a tip. I don't think the tips get to the ppl making the food. From now on I will use cash for a tip. Oh and the solo condiment container of ranch dressing has changed but not the price. They no longer use Marie's Ranch Dressing. Big disappointment and $1.70, before taxes, down the drain. read more

The employees are always friendly and smiling, but the place never looks very clean. They sell a lot of prepared food, but I haven't bought any here due to the grubby looking floor and shelves. They offer a lot for a corner gas station/market though. read more

Talk about guilty pleasures--every Monday they have $1 tacos. On large tortillas. That, combined with cheap sofa, makes this a go-to place every week. Today I had one adobada and one steak taco. Green and red sauce offered and good. read more

This review is based off of three pizza pockets over a period of a few years. They are sometimes a guilty pleasure I will indulge in on occasion. All I'm saying is, don't go to this place for a pizza pocket. They've always resembled a fossilized version of a comfort food...my dog won't even eat them. So very disappointing.
