PHARMACY IS NOT MANAGED OR STAFFED BY YOKES FRESH MARKET. Yokes assistant manager told me this morning that yokes has no input or authority over these third party employees. The third party manager is "never available" to address the illequipt and poorly trained pharmacy staff. PHARMACISTS ARE STILL TELLING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT THEY MUST PAY 100% OUT OF POCKET. Ignorance and a complete lack of proper supervision is costing local Veterans hundreds, if not thousands of dollars a month in unnecessary out of pocket fees, being fraudulently charged by a mysterious third party pharmacy hiding in the shadows. read more

I'm traveling and staying in the Pasco KOA and visiting with my niece who lives nearby. Told her I was looking for a grocery store with wholesome fresh food, as I was tired of what is available at convenience stores. They had a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and I also came away with an excellent broccoli salad and baked beans from their deli. Well don't bring a coupon to this store.... I was accused of having fraudulent coupons for free eggs and butter from my friend's aunt. She works for the company. They said they have a lot of coupon fraud - "they look legit but my manager isn't here and I am just a supervisor and can't accept them". Visiting from IL and super impressed with the fresh food, tons of variety and amazing wine and beer selections. We bought fresh corn cobs, shrimp from Argentina and chicken thighs to grill and everything tasted delicious. We made a nice ceviche with the shrimp. So I usually don't post reviews but I got to with my current experience. In a regular at this store, the staff here are amazing. But, when your shirt on checkers and have a line and call up for back up. The 1st or next person in that line that doesn't have there groceries on the belt should be asked to be next for the NEW cashier. This morning 3 people that were behind me all got checked out and left by the time I got to be checked out! Now how does that work? Seems strange? The price on rib steaks this week was reasonable. $9.99 lb. and the meat cutter cut the thickness I asked for. However, the Crav'n chips, 7.8oz were 2 for $3.00 on Saturday, and $2.59 each on Monday. We want good prices every day, not a day by day juggling act. read more

This is the big grocery store in Pasco (not counting Walmart). The Family was in town for Gayle's Niece's Wedding (at the Moore Mansion) and we needed snacks for Hotel room socializing. Gayle was happy with the wine selection, and I spent a happy several minutes in the walk-in beer refrigerator picking out my favourite micro brew. We also picked up some nibbles at the Deli counter and some sweet rolls at the Bakery. Yokes staff was friendly, checkout was quick, and there was lots to choose from among the many wide aisles. On a road trip, it rarely gets better than this. read more

I'm a sucker for Yokes. Yes, it's a little more expensive, but dang, their food and selection is worth it. I just wish they were closer to where I live. All their locations are jaunts. So, I generally have to plan out a trip to Yokes as a side-trip to someplace else (i.e. if I'm going to pick someone up at the airport, I'll kill time at this one in Pasco. If I'm heading to my new gym in West Richland, I'll hit the one in WR). One of my only gripes is that they don't have big bottles of Odwalla orange juice. They have small ones, but I want the big stuff for breakfast during the week. The staff at this one and I search high and low around the store, but we couldn't find it (looks like I'll go to Freddies and Safeway for that). The deli for sandwiches is Pasco's best kept secret and pricing isn't over $7. You can't get a better sandwich or deal than this. They are always fresh, and staff is helpful and quick, especially Janet, who remembers our faces and makes us feel like family. We come here as a work group, and individuals as well. I know multiple people who drive from West Richland Yoke's to the Pasco deli instead, it is that much better! And the jojos are outstanding, and I am not even a huge fan but I eat every bite. They disappear if I bring them in to work. I had a sandwich at the Paradise Way West Richland Yokes and she forgot all the ingredients except the meat! We enjoy the options we have to shop from at this location. When ordering from fish, cheese, or chicken from the different Deli's, there are too many inconsistencies. We continue to frequent this location because there are not many options in the TC. Service is not the best ! read more

What's up with the bakery? I've been shopping here for years. Everything in the bakery is always dry. We've tried numerous things from the bakery. Why does Costco get good fresh crab and yokes can't? Stop buying seafood from Asia! We were told they were not allowed to buy crawfish from Louisiana. That's a fib. Annie's get theirs from there. Don't undersell tri cities people. They want quality not questionable sources of fish. Good seafood is plentiful in the NW. Veggies and fruit don't seem to emphasize local produce. I like Yokes. Great cheese and meats. What I don't like is Alejandro or Alexander the kid with the broccoli looking hair cut. I was getting last minute items when the store was closing and he was complaining to me, a customer, about there being customers so close to closing time. I've been through his line many times. I don't know if it's because this is still a small regional chain or what, but Yokes doesn't seem to have adopted the industrial, impersonal feel of the Safeways, Thriftways, etc. I like this store. It's pretty much a full-service grocery store, with all the typical staples, a meat market, fish market, deli, and bakery. They've also tossed in a bulk foods area, a wine section, cheese bar, take & bake pizza, and video store. The produce is well stocked and largely fresh, local stuff. They had some tasty sweet corn there this summer, and I wish they'd get more. The deli's got a nice selection of sliced meats and cheeses, sandwiches to order, plus surprisingly decent fried chicken and some other hot foods & salads. The bakery puts out pretty good cakes, pies, and pastries, and they didn't even get grumpy when I ordered a custom birthday cake on the same day I wanted it. Safeway refused to do it, Yokes asked what time I wanted to pick it up. The meat market advertises that a lot of their meat comes from their own herd. I've never seen the herd, but the meat's pretty good, and they take requests as well as the bakery does. Same story with the fish market (although they apparently don't carry pickled herring). The store is clean and well stocked, the cashiers are generally pretty fast and friendly, and they take requests. I hear people say that they're expensive, but personally I don't care if tuna costs an extra nickel if I can avoid making extra stops and I can get in & out with no hassle. I think I'm generally a pretty harsh critic of grocery stores because of my own work experience, but I think Yokes does things right. This is the Whole Foods of the Tri-cities. Love that they have not only the organic and hard to find brands, but also a mix of the national brand products. Cheese selection is huge with something for every budget. Bulk bin is great because you can purchase the exact amount of rice, pasta, flour, sugar, etc. that you need, and not have the extras go to waste. I star taken off because it is a bit pricey, however will definitely shop here again. read more

Three years ago when we moved here from the East Coast one of the things that I dreaded most was a return to small town grocery store shopping (I grew up in a tiny town in Nebraska, so in comparison, I do suppose that the Tri-Cities shopping environment is almost cosmopolitan.) Yoke's surprised me, and was actually one of the main reasons that I chose an apartment on Rd. 68 until we could purchase a house. Yes... their prices are not the same as Walmart's. But, Walmart is right across the street. I often make shopping trips to both stores to stock my kitchen. My absolute favorite component at Yoke's is their cheese/wine section. I love it. I can't take a trip to Yoke's without dropping a decent amount of money and time to pick out more cheeses and wines to try. Their fresh seafood section has also helped me expand my dinner cooking skills. I'm also a fan of their constant and unending support of Second Harvest Tri-Cities. My Husband and I stopped to get a hot Turkey Club Sandwich from road 68 Pasco Yokes Deli. We have had their sandwiches numerous time in the past and have not had any bad experiences. This time would be different. We ordered our sandwiches. We ordered Grilled turkey club sandwiches. One with pickles and one with out. The sandwiches arrived at the cash register and one was made cold and ones was half grilled but still cold. The lady that was grilling kept coming up with excuses about why it was made cold. We asked for them to grill the cold one and put the other in the microwave, but they said they would remake both. That was good with us. They remade both sandwiches. On the way home my husband took a bite of his sandwich and bite in to a greasy wadded up paper napkin. He pulled over and threw up. That is the last time we will ever eat a Sandwich from the Road 68 Yokes. read more

This is a good store with good produce and groceries. I like it, but everything is overpriced. Sometimes, things are about twice as much as they should be. Other times, prices are reasonable. If the prices were better, then I might give it 5 stars. Also, sometimes I can't find what I need here. What's best is that it's right next door. read more

I live less than a mile from Pasco Yokes. I went to the store on 04/29/20 and upon walking in I was stunned. I only say one employee and very few customers wearing a mask. I always considered Yokes as a high quality store until last night. This company showed no care for their employees or the customers. I think they have the best baked bread compared to Walmart, winco and albertsons. The ladies there are very helpful too and accomodating. I will never get tired of coming back for the bread.... for anything else I would probably shop around as they are very spendy. They are better that the Yokes in West Richland. read more

I'm happy to shop at the Yokes on Road 68 for bulk spices and speciality cheeses. Other than that their items are over priced and their selection is slim, which I can usually deal with except that their customer service lacks major enthusiasm, which I why I'm giving 3 stars. The newer checkers are young and not friendly. It's like being greeted by robots. They don't thank you and ask if you want your receipt. It should be a given to hand the customer a receipt. I love the produce and cheese departments. Alwats fresh and appealing. The most department isn't great, ground hamburger is always gray in color and doesn't look fresh. And bring back a better 24oz bottle beer selection! It looks cheap and cheesy to have baskets of discounted beer and wine near the checkstands. And I agree with another Yelper, get rid of the bar soap by the checkstand. Too smelly. read more
