We were greeted with a very friendly staff and offered coffee, water before the class began. The instructor was very polite and patient as many of us had 2 left feet. He made it fun and no one felt uncomfortable. We learned three basic steps. My only disappointment is the class was too short. I wanted to keep practicing (much needed) my new skills. Though they did kindly offer us to stay and watch a group event, and take part in their group ball room open dance. We had dinner reservations and had to leave. My girls said during scheduling they weren't told about the group opportunity after. If they knew they may have reserved dinner before the private class so we could have danced/practiced longer. I guess we'll have to see about lessons BTW there was no high pressure sales tactics. Just an overview and encouragement to try classes in the future. Note: The road to the FADS entrance is on the west side of the strip mall because the entrance & parking is behind the strip mall. NOT by Garibaldis. Some GPS apps mistakenly direct you to the front of the strip mall. Don't park there or you'll have to walk around the building to get to their entrance. Have fun!

Over the course of time, we've had 5-6 different dance instructors, and every one -- without exception -- has been terrific! They are all professional dancers who are not only excellent and very patient teachers, but they know how to make each dance lesson stress-free and fun! My husband and I came into the lessons knowing that we have no innate talent for dancing, but we have never felt intimidated by the teachers or other dance students. To the contrary, the dance studio fosters an amazingly friendly atmosphere from top to bottom! We love our weekly lessons because we're always learning new steps and/or stylings, meeting new people, and enjoying the opportunity to unwind and connect with each other in the middle of the week. I highly recommend the dance studio for anyone looking to become a better dancer, looking for a supportive community, or just seeking a new way to have fun!

I received dance lessons for my birthday this year. I decided to try something different…read more Anyway...my first appointment went well. We got basic moves for the Rumba, Fox Trot, Waltz. And In/Out. Cha-cha and Tango coming up next session. Very beautiful and comfortable inside the studio. Our instructor was very patient and attentive. No pressure, and everyone learns at their own pace. I was nervous at first, but she made us feel at ease. Can't wait!

My husband and I enrolled in dance lessons several months prior to our wedding only to be severely…read moredisappointed. I will start off by saying that these lessons are NOT cheap. All in, we spent $2,000 on lessons to learn fundamentals and a choreographed dance to our wedding song. There were so many things that went wrong during this process that I wish I was joking. There is a fee to pay for a dance to be choreographed on top of the private lesson costs which are about $99 per lesson when you "contract" several lessons. They will not let you pay for a choreographed routine for only a few lessons. The lessons are very redundant once you learn the routine and it's almost a waste of time and money. There were many instances of misinformation during this process and the studio owner offered to waive the choreography fee - great. But we still had more issues. The dance studio has absolutely horrendous communication with customers. In our 3-4 month stint of taking classes we went through 3 instructors because of turnover. All of a sudden one day our teacher wasn't there anymore and with no explanation we were placed with a new instructor to learn our custom choreographed dance that we were already learning with the prior instructor. Then, fast forward to October, the week of our wedding, when we were about to have our final lesson, we get a call about an hour before our lesson asking for us to have our lesson with an entirely new instructor. We found out our instructor was AGAIN replaced without any warning, so we wpuld have been on our fourth instructor. We realized something was up when we were placed with a random instructor the week before our final lesson but didn't think too much of it...it all makes sense now. We cancelled our final lesson and got a refund for the last class we didn't take. We had to jump through hoops to get our $99 back from the cancelled class...including hounding us on our honeymoon about submitting a written form to get our money back. They did not make this an easy profess. It's truly a shame when you spend thousands with a business that they consistently drop the ball with communication. I would not recommend spending your hard earned money here simply for these terrible experiences we endured. There is no excuse in our modern age for terrible communication.

Unlike other people who have posted reviews about cost and being sold, I took 5 minutes to research prices online so I wasn't surprised when I was asked to purchase additional lessons after my intro lesson. 10 months later and I have a new hobby. Am I asked to participate in a variety of events? Yes. Do I decline? Sometimes. These are professionals who are providing a service. That service costs money. What I get in return is immeasurable. Jade, Sasha, Alex, and Brandon are an amazing group of instructors with a passion for dance and sharing that joy with other people. With their help I've went from barely being able to put my feet in the right spot to being, dare I say, somewhat graceful. If you're looking to learn how to dance, and share in the joy of that activity, this is the place to go!

There were several other couples there at various skill levels, so we didn't feel out of place. Pretty much everyone there, from instructors to staff to the other customers were friendly. Some of the reviews mention sales pressure, but we personally did not find the sales pressure to be uncomfortable. They have a facility to maintain and instructors to pay, and everything costs money. Bottom line, if you want professional dance instruction in a great downtown facility, you're going to have to pay a professional cost. Napoleon Dynamite might be able to learn sweet dance moves alone from VHS, but if you need professional help this is the place to go.

We wanted to do something a little different than the ordinary, that involved a combination of slow and fast dances (e.g., a mashup). We worked with Dasha and she was both brilliant and amazing. She choreographed the whole dance with us, all the while taking into account my very limited dance skills. She made the entire process fun and memorable for my daughter and me. And she helped put together an epic dance that my daughter and I will never forget. The wedding is now 2 weeks past and we (and others) are still talking about it.
