I took a class with Christine, who really knows her stuff! After spending time in the more trendy yoga studios around Chicagoland before moving back up here (i.e. Corepower), I'm glad to find one that seems committed in its core yoga practice without all the commercialized nonsense. The studio is clean, quiet and serene, and they offer mats, blocks, ropes and chairs for whatever practice is taking place. The music selection is well chosen and really compliments the practice (I didn't hear Enya once, which was a great sign). They offer classes in the AM & PM (the AM was full when I attended, which was also a good sign). Prices are more than reasonable, and classes are appropriate for all practice levels. Looking forward to practicing with this studio in the future! Namaste.

Had a great experience getting a personal yoga session with Debra. We started off with some…read morerestorative and finished off with some fun aerial tricks. I'm not new to yoga but even with the knowledge I did have, Debra expanded my practice more than most have over the past few years. Great pointers, adjustments, tips and just overall education on the movement into the pose, and not just rushing in to the pose. Yoga is called a practice for a reason. If you take the time to learn the poses correctly, your body learns where to go, like a bungee cord. It's also hard to unlearn bad habits, which I'm excited to do with Debra! The light therapy massage table is also a must try, felt so good on my spine and the heat was perfect! #yogaforlife #yogis #yogapose

Kenosha's best spa! Clean, professional, up to date…read more I found this spa through checking Yelp reviews of similar places in the area. I was in a LOT of pain due to a sports injury and needed a good massage therapist. Every single visit I've had, I have left so incredibly relieved. They don't pressure you to buy more or to come to classes, or do anything that you don't want to. You can tell that each staff member has your best interest in mind. I've seen 3 different massage therapists and have loved them all. I can't recommend this place enough! I haven't been to any of the classes, however, but I can say that if you come for a massage, you will be SO happy that you did.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because I'm so grateful it exists! It's the largest municipal…read morerecreation center in the country and it's 10 minutes from where I live and on the way to Costco. The pluses: It has a beach and a lake and 3 Olympic size swimming pools, a great big gym with all the equipment gyms need to have, excellent personal training staff, a generally friendly low-key vibe, a reasonable parking lot. The hot tub (for ages 18+) in the pool area is hot and has great jets. There's a sauna in the locker room. It's only $300 for 6 months for seniors. To me, that's a bargain, I'm not old enough for Medicare yet, but I was told that the gym benefits work here as well. The negatives: it has either terrible or not enough maintenance staff & it's not well-managed. The billing system is disorganized. The locker room is like a high school locker room -- definitely not upscale gym-ish. When things break it takes days or weeks or longer to fix them. There were months this past year when they couldn't get the temperature of the showers regulated. There's paint peeling in the pool area and they close in the winter for a week to supposedly take care of all that and ... not so much.
