There isn't much to saw about this place except is was AMAZING!!! This has to be one of the best brick oven pizzas I have ever eaten. Went there twice and got a total of three different types of pizzas. (two red sauce and one white sauce). Wish there was something bad I could say but everything was great. The food, the ambiance, the service. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with the crust nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and tender on the insdie. There were plenty of toppings of cheese, meats and veggies (and egg like we got) without being to much to hinder cooking or making the crust soft even if you take it home to eat later. Everything, even the deserts are made using the Bufala cheese which was extremely flavorful. Nothing overpowered anything else on the pizza. All was well balanced. You can watch the guy make the pizza and you can tell he knows what he is doing. If you enjoy your meal as much as I did be respectful and thank him for a great meal. The service has to be especially noted. In Miami tip is automatically included at most places so normally the service not very good. That is not the case here....Ciro was our server and he was great. He made perfect suggestions for our pizzas and even gave us two glasses of wine with our Yelp unlock. Becuase the pizza was so good and even though I was stuffed, I had to try to the dessert. We opted for the "sample platter". 2 cannoli, tiramisu, 2 servings of ricottina. Everything on this tray was just expected. Delicious. My gf had a bad experience at an Italian restaurant and was not a fan of cannoli, but this was so good she enjoyed and learned what a well made cannoli should taste like. If you are staying on the north end of South Beach its a little walk to get here, but there is plenty to do and see on the way. If you want authentic Italian food, more specifically Neapolitan pizza made in a wood brick oven, then this is the place to go! So far, even all of the staff is Italian! They pride themselves in importing buffalo mozzarella and buffalo meats. Their cheese is made from buffalo milk instead of cow's milk, and it's some of the best mozzarella and ricotta cheese I have ever had! The Caprese Impanata is my favorite thing to have here! It's a ball of fried breaded buffalo mozzarella that has cherry tomato, basil​ & oregano all chopped up and placed inside the ball. Soooooo goooood!!! We usually ask for a side of ricotta cheese to use with the bread, olive oil, and balsamic that they offer. Try it! For my entree I get the Ripienone, a calzone stuffed with ricotta, smoked ​mozzarella, neapolitan salami & tomato sauce. It's made in the brick oven, and comes out steamy and delicious. My husband gets the Salentina​ white pizza. It has buffalo mozzarella, smoked mozzarella & buffalo ricotta cheese. Sometimes he adds pancetta for flavor. Either way, they are very tasty! Service was slow and inattentive. Served four pieces of bruschetta to five people - a heads up that there wouldn't be enough pieces for everyone would have been nice. For dinner, we ordered one pasta dish, a salad and three pizzas. Pasta came out 15 minutes before everything else. Then we got the salad and two pizzas. Five minutes later we finally got the third pizza. Pizzas were not as good as they used to be. The parmaganella (eggplant, tomato and cheese) was particularly disappointing. It had so few toppings and the eggplant on it was not great. I figured they had an odd night last weekend so my partner and I went here again tonight. MISTAKE! Stood just inside past the doorway for several minutes while everyone that worked there either ignored us or told us to move out of the way. Noone was interested in seating us. Eventually I saw the writing on the wall and left. We had a reservation no less! TLDR: Do not go. Management must have changed since last winter. This is our second time here. Great place. Everybody speaks Italian which is a plus for the family. Food is great, location is great. Pizza dough is something special, so order up if you haven't tried one of their pizzas. Really good espresso too for the coffee lovers. Great for family or friends. He had lots of recommendations, and we ended up with two pastas and two pizzas which were enough for the three of us eating. The pizza crust was too thin to hold the toppings, but still tasty. A great friend indeed who told us about this small cheesy slice of heaven. We started with the La Bufalata appetizer. A giant plate of various meats, cheeses and vegetables. My wife raved about the eggplant. Literally raved. Like stand up in her chair and declare her love for the eggplant in a loud and proud voice kind of raved! The smoked mozzarella was like a party in my mouth. And everyone was invited. We attacked that plate like we hadn't eaten in weeks. But that was just the appetizer! For the meal we simply ordered two wood fired pizzas. The margherita DOP and the Reale. Lots of cheese. Bufala mozzarella cheese. And some prosciutto on the Reale. The bottom line? They were hot, tasty and utterly delicious. The other dishes being delivered to other tables looked great. But PIZZA! For dessert we had an order of the cannoli. Two tiny pastries stuffed with sweet cheese. Drizzled with chocolate. I was extremely full by the time dessert came. That didn't stop me from shoving it into my face. Getting in and out of the restaurant was a breeze. The staff was super friendly and were speaking Italian to each other and to us. Did I understand a word of it? Nope. A family friend recommended this restaurant to me and my best friend during our vacation, and we had an amazing time. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming, and the wait staff was attentive. Prices were extremely reasonable, I was almost surprised with the check when we got it. We shared bruschetta and a margarita pizza as our appetizers, and both were amazingly fresh and delicious. They're known for their Bufala mozzarella cheese, so we got it in a caprese salad, which was more than enough for two of us to split. They have a large list of pizzas done in red or white sauces. The crust on the pizza was perfect; nice and soft and tasted great. They use a brick oven, so the crust has that tasty slight char on it. They also have a decent selection of wines by the glass. Great ambiance, took my wife there for a Friday dinner night. The waiters and waitresses are incredibly nice and professional. They make good recommendations. The food feels authentic, the pizza dough is soft, but cooked perfectly. The sauce is the perfect combination of tangy and sweet. The cheese is fresh! The only thing that wasn't perfect is the way the pizzas with multiple toppings come out, it was a bit clumsy with the toppings all in the center. I devoured them all anyway, of course. "Terrible service since 2005" After years of hearing great things I finally visited the restaurant. The food was good but not great. The service..... service was terrible! The waiter didn't refill our wine glass or water cup once throughout the 1.5 hours we were there. I asked the bus boy (short dude with tattoos, dark hair, and a jersey shore douche bag hair cut) for a Coke and he brought over a Diet Coke. I then asked him to please bring me a regular coke and he rolled his eyes at me and pretended he was doing me the hugest favor. The bill came and 18% tip was already included. I paid $100 and left not wanting to deal with the bs. This was one of the worse dining experiences I've had... yet totally consistent with the garbage service any customer gets in south beach. I shouldn't feel like a restaurant is doing me a favor when I spend $100 on a meal for two.... you're serving spaghetti and on a Burger King level. Must be a drug laundering scheme.
