Review for Roto-Rooter Rating: I have mixed feelings about my recent experience with Roto-Rooter. On one hand, their technicians are excellent. This was my second time in less than a year having the same sink snaked, and just like the first time, the plumber was professional, timely, neat, and successfully unclogged the drain. If you are in an emergency and need someone reliable who will get the job done right, they are definitely the way to go. However, I find it increasingly difficult to justify using them as a "go-to" service due to the lack of incentive for loyal customers. Paying full price for the same recurring issue within a single year feels steep. While the plumber did offer a $100 discount this time, that is a standard coupon amount I likely could have found elsewhere. What is more frustrating is that I've gone above and beyond to prevent this: * I purchased their proprietary maintenance cleaner (at 3x the price of standard retail cleaners) and used it exactly as instructed. * As a two-family household, we are extremely cognizant of what goes down our drains. * We previously used them for a major sewer line repair--a nearly five-figure job--less than five years ago. I would expect that level of history and investment to place us in a "high-value client" bracket with better pricing protection. The reality is that if it isn't an emergency, there are much more affordable options available for a standard drain snaking. Summary: Great quality and highly reliable, but the pricing model doesn't seem to value repeat customers or long-term loyalty. -- Jason

My husband told me to call up and get in touch with this company and on a checklist for me to have…read morethings to do and when I called this particular place a man name Ed bells or something like that was talking to me like he was soldiers interested in helping me or asking any questions that I had a talk to me like he was misogynistic and didn't have time to talk to a woman about these types of issues I happened to flip homes and in the very end when I did in fact speak to my husband, He told me that he had never heard of this man, and that I had called the wrong location, and that my husband would now take care of it and deal with another part of that company with someone that he knows I don't know what kind of business they run if it's a chain with multiple offices or stores but I happened to get very unlucky and have a really unpleasing taste in my mouth. I think that if you absolutely need to come to this please go to another location because if you have to run into Mr Ed he is probably going to give you an attitude and talk down to you especially if you are a woman. I knew what I needed done and what I needed to happen in order to do it but he wasn't hearing anything he definitely didn't wanna do business with me or my husband. I'm not saying this is the bed company I'm just saying that this particular occasion has a sourpuss I'd avoid him he's kind of nasty and for no reason it was completely unprovoked and unnecessary Switch jobs if you hate your job so much if you don't like billing with the public then don't deal with people I'm sorry
