Really good prices on bread. Note that they are close to expiration date. I stick them in the fridge/freezer and no issue.

Bakery Nouveau in Burien is our non-negotiable stop every single time we head to Sea-Tac. Skipping…read moreoverpriced airport food for this place is the best decision you can make before a flight. The Highlights * Croissants: Unbelievably flaky, buttery, and fresh. * Pistachio Apricot Tart: Absolutely amazing--the nutty pistachio paired with bright, sweet apricot was incredible. * Pizza: Don't sleep on the savory stuff. The bakery-style pizza has a great crust, delicious sauce, and generous toppings for a perfect pre-flight lunch. The staff keeps the line moving fast, the vibe is bright and welcoming, and the food never disappoints.

Nothing says "great workout" quite like immediately replacing every calorie you just burned with one of Bakery Nouveau's twice-baked chocolate croissants. I prefer to think of it as strategic carbohydrate replenishment. Everything here is exceptional. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. Bakery Nouveau is worth every extra minute on the bike.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! Sometimes I wish they had more variety as they will have the same bread in 3 different areas. I utilized the drink kiosks prior to picking out and purchasing the pastries. It was great to have the beverage ready as soon as you paid for your pastries instead of waiting longer. I don't know if it was my specific drink that ordered, but I was unable to customize the sugar or ice level at the kiosks which was a bit disappointing. I will have to try ordering what I usually get and see if that customization is on them as I know some drinks cannot be customized.

While I appreciate the accessibility of the Taiwanese pastries and drinks, to me the food is pretty average for the price. Call me a traditionalist, though personally most of the time when I want a Chinese pastry I prefer them in their simplest form, like plain chasiu buns, red bean buns, raisin twists. A While 85 Degrees C brings newer flavor combinations, they just seem too fussy and the bread quality to me suffers from the amount of toppings and fillings. That being said they do offer the most reasonably priced bubble tea in the area, and have a variety of full-sized Asian-style cakes which are convenient for celebrations and events, so I do expect to be back when I'm in the vicinity. Plenty of parking since it's located at the South Center Mall, though it can get pretty crowded during weekends. The inside of the store is pretty spacious with some seating, though most people seemed to take their items to go.

The service was very quick and very nice. The bao buns were very good and packed with a lot of ingredients. I am glad it was not all bun. I kind of wish there was more salted egg in the salted egg bun but other than that it was great. I would have to say my favorite of the ones I got was the cheesy bbq pork bun. Was packed with meat and cheese which who dosent love meat and cheese lol. Overall great place for a quick easy banh bao.

I went here with a bestie on a Saturday afternoon for something quick to eat and came across here. Their parking lot and the overall location is unassuming; you wouldn't expect a place like this to be around what feels like a secluded area. Plus the inside is just the front counter, the menu in big print and some small seating (not for dine-in, though). Bestie and I each got their combo bao, which comes with many ingredients like quail egg, jicama, celery, wooden ears, pork and black pepper. We wanted these heated up, and it took about 10 or so minutes for them to be ready. Bestie did also get a mini bao but asked for it not to be heated so he could eat as a midnight snack. As for the combo bao itself, the whole thing could easily qualify as a meal if you get more than one. Each is about $6 each so they are on the pricier side but it's definitely worth having and it's such a unique addition to the Tukwila area! So much so it almost feels like a hole-in-the-wall or a hidden gem... well it needs more exposure than it has!

We stopped by and when you enter, the smell inside is absolutely heavenly. I don't think I have ever entered such a wonderful smelling bakery. We were greeted by the sweetest female employee who was patient with us while we were trying to decide what to get. It was still really early so we weren't super hungry for sweets so we got a cream puff each. I got the pandan one while my boyfriend got the regular one. They were absolutely perfection, the filling was super yummy! I want to come back to try their other flavors. The macarons looked amazing and they have quite the selection as well as their cupcakes too. I will have to stop by more to get some more sweet treats. They have cakes too or you can order them as long as you give a few days heads up. They have a counter top to enjoy your sweets right away. They also have napkins just in case as well. They don't offer crafted drinks but had a few drinks in their fridge.

I had heard this bakery originally started in Seattle before moving its food production to this…read morelocation, so after hearing so many great things, I decided to stop by after an early morning workout. The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
