This place is two locations in one. The review is not for the cleaning services. The review is for the washer machine I came here because they are the cleanest around. I'll give them that. They are not too expensive and they have more selection of smaller load washers compared to other locations. But the clothes come out damped, forcing you to use their very low temperature dryers more which defeats the purpose of being cheaper. It would be a perfect location if the washer spin cycle worked. read more

This review is about the dry cleaners. Olivia the owner as well as Lorena the manger. I brought a jacket to be cleaned. Upon picking up my jacket the zipper was broken. There policy is "IF THEY DAMAGE YOUR ITEMs" THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE(not competent how to handle people's garments or wash properly) Lorena would interpret me as I told her my concerns of how my jacket was brought back. A BROKEN zipper as well as STAINS still on it. Olivia the owner called me and said she will wave her policy and have the tailor fix it. A week later I pick it up , a new zipper is on STILL STAINED and the NEW zipper was broken a whole new way. After making a few more attempts the manger called Olivia before handingme the phone Olivia hung up on me. The manger still saying "you should have read the policy but I'll let you know what's your number" like the same number I gave you the first time. Don't you here if you want to be taken advantage of with the prices! Was told one price on the phone and when arriving their the curly blonde hair lady tries to price me more and witnessed her trying to g to charge another lady more when the price was already on the receipt from dropping it off. If you don't pay attention she will get away with her changing the prices. I gave her a chance going here because it's close to home but never again I will go to another city for better services. read more

I've brought dry cleaning here for years and the clothes always come out clean, pressed, and looking like new. The staff is friendly and helpful and will tell you up front if a stain might not come out of a tie for example so that you know what to expect. I've also used the services of the tailor to replace zippers on pants and skirts which takes about a week, and always completed satisfactorily. There's drive up parking in front for 2 cars and a little more parking in back on the laundromat side. read more

Diana is the best!! The first time I took in a ladies pants suit and they had it ready for me the next day. They usually don't do it until 4 in the afternoon, but then had it ready at 12. I just came back from picking up my uncles uniform and it was supposed to be ready at 5:30, but they called me around 4 and said it was ready for pick up. Diana is always friendly and willing to help. She went out of her way to get my items for me ahead of time. read more

Ok, washateria in my area. The equipment is a little dated but gets the job done. The machines only accept quarters, so you have to exchange dollars for change in a machine on the wall. It around 30 min. To wash 4 loads of clothes. read more

My daughter needed pants hemmed and I needed a dress hemmed for myself. So We walked into this dry cleaners and no one was at the counter, and suddenly a girl approached us coming out from the back. Her demeanor was off putting at the get go. She didn't great us, and immediately, she pops off with an abrupt- can I help you, not in a friendly tone at all. I said yes, and asked if they did hemming. She kinda gives me this smirk, and says.... What's hemming? Mind you... on the door their services says they do alterations. And another meaning for alterations is: Hem which means... is cutting off the extra length, making a fold, and sewing a basic hem. The hem will not retain any details of the original hem, nor have the wavy look that most jean hems have. On most jeans, the lack of hem detail makes them look obviously altered. So obviously you'd think they would know what hemming means!!!seriously!!!! So I said.... You don't know what the word hemming means??? And she looks at me again with the rude smirky face and says "alterations"??? My daughter then places her black jeans on the counter and says yes, could I get them hemmed? So she then begins inspecting them and their was a faint white smudge on the back of the jeans, and she gestures to the smudge like it was something repugnant! Like she's never dealt with anything needing cleaned on clothing!!! Your working at a freaking dry cleaners lady!!! I felt So insulted at this point!!! Is this the demeaning way you treat your customers!!' Mind you the jeans were brand new and never worn!!! I looked at her like!!! Am in the twilight zone or on a segment of pranked?!!! You do alterations and don't know the meaning of the word hem!!! Theirs a spot on the jeans and your acting like you've never dealt with that before!!! And this is a dry cleaners!!! Obviously your not happy in your life and you want to make your customers feel stupid and uncomfortable with their clothing!!! At that point I said!!! Girl bye!!! Used then for my comforter. ABSOLUTELY HAPPY!!!! In the past some places wanted to charge more than what I even paid for the comforter in the first place ( my comforters are not junk or I wouldnt even be cleaning them in the first place-I am just a Ninja shopper Lol) They charge by weight not some random crazy high price. So I was happy when I dropped it off. However; when I picked it up- Estatic!!! They put it in a zipper storage bag with a handle!!!! It's been almost 2 years since I've made regular trips to the dry cleaners so with our return to working in person I had to find a new dry cleaners. Frantz dry cleaners is centrally located in Pomona. Their service is excellent and if you drop off your clothes early enough in the day you can get things back the next day. I have had clothes dry cleaned twice and minor alterations done on pants once and the quality of work has been outstanding! im very disappointed and will no longer use frantz after being a loyal customer for over 10 years. I noticed that all my Levis were faded. When i take my clothes i take it all, 10 levis and usually 4-7 shirts. My entire wardrobe Faded. I took them all in to show the owner and she simply said sorry clothes due fade. I'm out over $600 in levis. I didnt mind paying their high prices, but after the owner not backing her work i can no longer be a patron. read more

People are nice here. I, for the first time ever, did the fluff and fold option, and my clothes have never been so wrinkle free. The ladies on the phone and behind the desk are just so so so so nice. I never washed my clothes there, but I was told that they use dimes for drying and it's cheap cheap cheap to wash/dry there. I turned my clothes in i think either saturday or sunday and due to the amount of people ahead of me, I ended up getting my clothes Tuesday evening rather than the next day. Oh well. My clothes came out smelling great and folded perfectly, and the ones that were "nicer" they put in hangers. I love them! read more

Found this cleaners through Yelp and Google Maps. They've been around for years and they are located right off the freeway which is nice. The parking is a little awkward but once you figure it out you can get in and out no problem. The owner is very nice and the girl who helps is friendly as well. I was very happy to bring my wedding dress to them for cleaning and boxing. They were able to clean the dress and then package it with my veil and sash. We also brought my daughter's flower girl dress and husband's suit, and both came out nice. They also do a Fluff and Fold service if you just need something pressed for a special occasion. Glad I found a reasonably priced cleaner in the area. I will definitely be back when in need. read more

This full service laundry mat has been a staple here in Pomona for many many years. It sits on the corner of Garey ave. & Orange Grove, Dry cleaning, fluff and fold service, alterations, and a coin op laundry mat. The washing machines are still only 1 dollar, and the dryers use dimes. Change machines will vend your dollars into quarters and your quarters into dimes and nickles. This place is normally kinda busy, but it is very convenient to be able to get all your clothing cleaning done at one handy location. Love Frantz's cleaners! read more

It's really difficult to find a local dry-cleaners with quality work and affordable prices. With the help of Yelp, I saw the reviews and decided to check it out. I have seen this place every time I've passed by, but never knew the quality of the work of course. FIRST TIME CLIENTS get a discount - I believe it's 10% OFF your entire order. While waiting to drop off my goodies, I was looking at the price list - it's not too shabby. Not only that, but they offer a lot of services: tailoring/altering, shoe repair, fluff and fold - all that and more! The shop is family-owned and nice older women assisting. They are very welcoming and always calm. I usually step in Saturday mornings to pick up or drop off - and they're always so relaxed while I'm the crazy one! Hahaha. Just keep in mind that you should not leave your dry-cleaning here for a long time. I believe you have 4-6 weeks before they donate your goodies to a donation center. BE WARNED. And if you lost your ticket slip - just give your phone number. I love the fact that they have a mini-drive thru. Park there quickly while you are picking up your stuff or dropping off. It's so convenient. Definitely Pomona's antique. You can ask for quicker service - same day in and out, but I am unaware of their pricing for that. Hope this was helpful! read more

It was as though they handed me back my clothes in the same quality that I had dropped them off. The only difference was, they placed it on a wire hanger. Their work leaves much to be desired. Having worked in this industry in the past, I can be overly critical of dry cleaners. As with most cleaners, they seem to have a high turnover of employees. My favorite counter girl recently quit, so I have to re-educate the staff of my preferences for lack of a computer system. My clothes get clean enough, and they are always done on time. It can be a little intimidating to get out of their "drive through" during traffic, but they have a decent location. Be aware that if you need starched shirts, they are outsourced at a different cleaners facilities, and they can't do next day service on shirts because of that. I really wish they had home delivery. read more
