Of all the pizza places in Warwick (and there is six of them) this is my least favorite. First of all their pizza is extremely greasy - you can just see the grease sliding off the slice. A pizzeria does not stay in business for several decades if the pizza isn't appealing. I've been eating this pizza for over a quarter century and I still love it to this day. I've dabbled in a few other menu items, but I come here for the pizza. It's on point: very doughy, great sauce, great cheese. We have come in a few times lately. Slices were really tasty. They have a two slice and a bottle of water or soda for 5 and other times we've done whole pies, all delish. The hours start a little later on Mondays and Tuesdays but Matt still made our pie even though we were a bit too early. So nice and accommodating. My mom especially likes when they do the thin crust. Food was good. Loved the pizza dough. Service was great! BUT the place needs to be better organized and cleaner, and the place is full of hazards!!! Someone wrote, "Who cares about a few bread crumbs." But it isn't just a few bread crumbs. You cannot keep an open container of to-be-used bread crumbs on the lower shelf right above the floor. Actually, it wasn't kept there, rather, it was thrown underneath there. It was on top of something in a strange angle. Then, there was the chicken cutlets again not covered and just kind of thrown on the shelf. Everything just seemed to be out of place. Chaotic in the kitchen. No paper towel on the paper towel rack to wipe your hands after the toilet. Rather, rolls of paper towels were everywhere including one on top of a pizza tray to be used. And talk about the toilet. Of course not clean. But more scary is where the toilet is. You have to go through the kitchen which is one thing. The other is that it is right next to the deep fryers! Customers shouldn't be walking next to deep fryers. And to top everything off, the two little pumpkins near the window were rotting with liquid oozing from the bottom. read more

Inconsistent pricing - Large Salad was simply a regular sized salad on a larger plate. Seemed a little stingy.

Called to place a delivery order. Was told no credit cards, and an hour and a half wait. We said fine and ordered anyway. They called us back and said they ran out of cheese and couldn't deliver. I've been here a few times and I've always found it more comfortable and friendly than any of the other local pizza joints. I was so happy they delivered to Pine Island for us the other night. The food was so filling I had plenty of pasta left over for the next day and some garlic knots too. The knots are a little hard but still delicious. I called late so they were "out" of fettuccine for the night but they were nice enough to make my alfredo with spaghetti. Overall I think they do a fine job. read more

Eggplant parm sandwich was excellent. I ate there and got a salad and they gave it to me in a to-go container to eat which I felt was odd. I give it 3 stars because I observed one staff member talking to a younger staff member and he was really ordering him around, being really rude and never saying "please" or "thank you"- that's no way to talk to other people :( read more

***PLEASE READ*** To all, this is by far a business and restaurant you DO NOT want to support. First of all, I ordered 2 large pies and 2 orders of mozzarella sticks. We waited an hour before it finally arrived. I've got 5 kids which includes a 2 and 3 year old. As you can imagine, my kids are impatiently waiting to eat. I open the boxes and the pizza looked like something my 3 year old could have made. The dough was COMPLETELY RAW and INEDIBLE. I called to complain and see if there was any way this could be exchanged. I've got kids waiting to eat and this is a real inconvenience! An employee answered the phone and told me that was too bad and that he was too busy to deal with me right now! He then hung up the phone. VERY RUDE. I called back later where the owner answered the phone. He denied the fact that his pizza was the way that I described, SCREAMED AT ME AND TOLD ME I WAS THE IDIOT WHO CLEARLY COULDNT TELL WHAT A PIZZA LOOKS AND TASTES LIKE. He then continued to tell me that I will never get my money back, that I was a crazy women and to never return to his restaurant because he doesn't want my business. Very very very rude. I cannot believe the treatment, a simple apology would have been accepted and forgiven. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER EVER GO TO A PLACE LIKE THIS AND WILL MAKE SURE THIS IS KNOWN. I agree with Kate L. The pizza is good, but the place is dingy and dirty. I'm not germaphobic but the place could skeeve you out if you are used to clean places. I'd recommed Franico's if your looking for pizzeria type restaurants or Fratello's if your looking for nicer dining. read more

I will never order from Frank's Pizzaria again! If I could give them zero stars I would! We were extremely great customers of Frank's! We would order at least once if not twice a week from them! This week was our last! First this week we ordered delivery and they never delivered or bottle of soda but charged us for it! Frank himself said we NEVER ordered it because it WASN'T WRITTEN in the ticket. They did deliver the bottle of soda however our sandwiches we inedible! The veal was extremely extremely tough and the sausage parm sandwich had sausage on maybe 2/3 of the sandwich if that! So we let it go and didn't say anything...everyone has a bad day! A few days later we ordered a Pizza well done and French Fries crispy! I get home with the food and open the pizza and it's barely cooked, almost raw and extremely chewy! I call Frank's and Frank said he would make us another Pizza and I could come pick it up! I was even bringing back the first pie! I get in the car to drive back down there and Frank himself calls me back and says: WE AREN'T GOING TO MAKE YOU ANOTHER PIZZA BECAUSE IT WASNT WRITTEN ON THE TICKET TO BE COOKED WELL DONE! He says we never ordered it that way because it's not written on the ticket and if I want another pie I have to pay for it! So I proceed to tell him I was sitting right next to my husband when he ordered it that way! I then proceed to tell him about the soda that was NEVER WRITTEN ON THE TICKET! Frank then raised his voice and started yelling that I was wrong and never ordered it that way and he wouldn't make me a new pizza! I told him he lost extremely great customers because of his actions and he then HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM FRANK'S AGAIN! Have been in Warwick 2 years now and I feel like I have given Frank's too many chances. Yes they are super friendly but the food is horrible and the place is filthy looking. Ordered chicken marsala and it had no flavor what so ever. I took 2 bites thats it. Waste of money. Also their "boneless chicken wings" are not. They are breaded strips of chicken with tons of veins still in them. Awful. Also, not such a great thing to see workers literally sweating over the food they are making. Very unsanitary. This was definately the last chance. I will never order from them again. read more

Well, Ordered their pizza for the first time today and can honestly say will NEVER order from there again!! Everyone brags about Franks but being from an off the boat Italian family this would not pass as pizza. First we had it delivered and we ordered a large cheese pie which is advertised as being priced at 11.99. Delivery came to door and they wanted 16.95???? Why I ask, she states well"it's 12.99 plus tax? and she wasn't planning on offering me any change from my 20. So a 11.99 pizza cost me 20 that included 3 tip and FREE DELIVERY! I don't think so!! The pizza may be great , but if the Dept. of Health got there they wouldn't be happy . I was picking up a slice for my Mom, and noticed the slice was picked up with hands , and placed in oven . Then the young man went to the register. I told the young man I had a problem with that because he didn't use gloves . He said , he would put another in for me. That was nice! Who appeared to be the owner said they never use gloves because they work with the oven. What about a spatula? I thought, , he said he has been there for 41 years and the Dept. of Health never gave them a problem .I expressed I had a problem with that calmly and proceeded to walk out. As I walked out he said,loudly , And Don't Come Back!!! ( in front of two customers) I never eat pizza, since I try to eat healthy .Not sure if this is a common practice .
