Stopped in for lunch and the restaurant looked very promising…read more However it was lunch time and there was not much traffic. They offered pizza by the slice and whole pies as well. I tried a slice of pizza and a steak with mozzarella, mushrooms and onions sub. The slice could've been heated longer to crisp up the bottom and I ask if the roll was heated and it was nearly heated so the roll was too soft for the steak and cheese. The roll used had no structure and did not work for me. The shaved steak tased good but they need to use the right rolls.

Advertised prices don't match what you're charged…read more.. Ordered by phone and picked up in person. There are three different prices for the same special, depending on how you order: * Window sign advertises: 2 large, one-topping pizzas for $24.99 * Their own website lists the same special at $25.99 * Phone/in-store order charged $27.98 for the two pizzas (before tax/fees) At pickup, I was told extra cheese is a "topping that costs more," but on their own website ordering page, extra cheese is included the same way other toppings are for this special. That explanation still doesn't account for the higher price and directly contradicts how the deal is presented online. Even assuming both pizzas were simply one-topping pizzas, the price charged was still higher than both advertised prices. Receipt, website pricing, and window signage all show different amounts. The pizza itself was fine, but pricing transparency matters. Based on this experience, I won't be returning or recommending this place.

While $7.75 sounds decent on paper for two slices and a drink, the modest portion size leaves a lot to be desired if you're looking for a genuinely filling meal. The slices offer a classic, well-browned mozzarella top with visible caramelized spots and decent cheese pull. The crust has a firm, golden edge that supports the toppings well without flopping, though the thin, small footprint makes quick work of both slices. A straightforward, traditional combination of sweet tomato sauce and salty browned mozzarella--classic neighborhood slice flavor, just in a skimpy portion.

We were warmly greeted upon entry, though it was our first time here, and once we took a look at the daily specials on the board, we quickly decided on what we were ordering. My wife ordered the lasagna and salad, and I ordered the stuffed shells and garlic bread. The lady that took our order made mention several times that everything was homemade. I have no idea if that is true or not, but I'm kind of believing it to be, as my stuffed shells tasted a bit salty (which I didn't mind), but my wife's lasagna definitely had a home cooked taste to it, and it was also delicious! The only reason I'm knocking one star off, however, is because, upon paying with a credit card, they require you to add a tip with the card (you cannot bypass this and pay the tip with cash, that's unfortunately a byproduct of the service they use for processing card payments), and the tipping percentage starts at 22% and goes up from there. Kind of ridiculous, if you ask me. I'll need to remember to bring cash next time... because there will definitely be a next time. There are plenty of other things on the menu that I'm looking forward to trying in the future.

We were fortunate to come upon this wonderful pizza place on the main street in Emmitsburg! We ordered a large pie with mushrooms and onion. Fresh mushrooms (not canned) and plentiful. The sauce and cheese were delish! Nice thin crust (they also have Sicilian and other dishes and subs). The service by Justin was top notch and very friendly. We will DEFINITELY be back as we travel from PA back and forth to visit our family. Sorry we forgot to take a picture, it smelled so delicious, we dove right in!!

This is a family-owned shop and two brothers and a sister, at least, were working. The young man who took our order was beyond friendly and we loved meeting him and having him take our order and then bring out our order. We got italian subs, an order of fries, and a small pizza. Thanks for a great meal, prepared quickly, and especially for the wonderful service.
