Chicken fried steak, biscuits, eggs, and H browns.

This place has been here awhile. Not sure about anything but their breakfast. They have everything you want to break from the everyday Donuts and Kolaches or breakfast tacos and fast food crap that are on every damn corner. Come here and get yourself a real breakfast that sticks to your ribs.

Bad food quality. Hash browns were undercooked and pancakes and waffles were unflavored. I was only discounted $4 of $60 dollar total. This place is a joke!

Supposed to catfish and looks like tartar sauce in a large bowl--gross!

Yesterday my sister, my significant other and I came over here for breakfast. My sister suggested that this place has breakfast all day. Now this location is a lot bigger than one on Telephone Rd. It was very packed when we came that was about 10 am. We barely could find a seat..but good thing my sister has a good eye because she spotted out a table for the three of us. I ordered the catfish and eggs plate with some hashbrowns and some toast. The wait time was short as we played the game, "Never have I ever.." (such a great fun game). The food was bare-minimun ok...now let me tell you what I mean by that. The hashbrowns had such a peculiar taste to them--they did not taste homemade..instead they tasted like they were freezer burned and cooked in the microwave. It was quite gross. The eggs had a gummy taste to it as if it was just put together without any salt nor pepper. It didn't taste like mines. The catfish wasn't southern style..they weren't fried hard and just barely fried..They were soft to taste and looked as if the batter was flour instead of cornmeal. I didn't touch the toast because it was saturated in butter..soggy...pretty dang gross if you ask me. The only thing that was perfect to taste was the sweet tea. It was southern. On a brighter note, the service was good. Monica, our waitress was exceptionally attentive. She looked as if she was the only waitress working while her co-workers just lolly-gagged around. I even over-heard her ask one of her co-workers if she could help her out with getting the food out and she lazily said, well I am doing something more important. She wasn't doing anything! Monica went beyond her job description and made us feel as if we were important. Now that is what I call a waitress..she definitely earned her tip. I can't say I will be back..because of the nasty food I got. My sister and my significant other enjoyed their food though.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to Kelley's for breakfast but passed by Frank's Grill. Neither of us had tried it before so we decided to change our plans. It's a hole-in-the-wall kind of diner. We seated ourselves as they instructed and looked over the menu. I was planning to order the breakfast at Kelley's with the chicken fried chicken. So we decided to share the Chicken Fried Chicken & Waffles breakfast and added 2 eggs, hash browns and sausage at Frank's Grill. I asked for shredded cheddar cheese for the scrambled eggs but they didn't have any. They only had sliced cheese. So we opted for no cheese. Sorry but sliced cheese isn't the same. What restaurant doesn't have shredded cheese?!! The chicken fried chicken was tougher than I'm used to. The white gravy was a bit bland. It needed lots of salt. The hash browns were delicious and they are generous with their portion. He enjoyed the sausage patties and we both really enjoyed the waffle. It tasted like it had vanilla in it. Yum! Overall, I was not super impressed. The food was decent but I wish we had gone to Kelley's. They give you huge portions and they are cheaper. For the scrambled eggs, chicken fried chicken with gravy, hash browns, sausage patties, toast and coffee, it was almost $20 at Frank's Grill. We can share breakfast at Kelley's for under $15.

Decent breakfast but not nothing special to go out your way for. A large group of us & 1/2 thought it was mediocre & the other half just loved Frank's.. This place is nothing fancy at all, actually it's a hole in the wall so don't expect too much..

I had read some reviewers stating that the food was bland, but my guess is because they are so used to very seasoned/salty foods. I, however, eat fairly healthy and rarely eat out so this was actually not too bad. It wasn't salty and within my ballpark of what I would normally eat at home. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals as well with one having bacon and hash browns, others having eggs with cheese, and pancakes. They had also stated that the coffee was delicious. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is what you would expect from a diner. Not overly decorated, but seating was comfortable. The restaurant also has a shop where you can purchase stuffed bears and desserts, such as cream pies. I was tempted to try one, but thought maybe at another time. Hopefully will return again in the future to try another dish like a sandwich.

Randomly found this in between the airport and our hotel via yelp and I'm so happy we did. You can tell it's a local hot spot and its reputation speaks for itself. I was really impressed with the amount of items on their menu and know if I lived anywhere close my bad would be wide and my blood pressure high. The workers were very kind as well, I made a change in my order nearly 5mins after I ordered and they were gracious in accommodating my request which I very much appreciated. We had: Strawberry cheesecake Açaí bowl - 10/10 - it was perfect in every way. Bits of cheesecake, granola, strawberries and a drizzle of honey. This bowl alone could feed two people and three wouldn't be a stretch. I also had a strawberry vanilla soda type drink that I wish I got a larger size of because it was so good. Think a float without the thickness, it was refreshing and unique. Caramel Pecan Dream - wow 10/10 - it was so RICH and the consistency was amazing. The little bits of pecans were the perfect contrast to the creaminess of the shake itself. Burger and sweet potatoes fries - 10/10 - they do classics well too, no real notes but it was delicious.
