A great comedy show, 3 openers, one headliner $20 tickets. That is a great price. Clean, new modern location. Servers bringing you food and drink. We went to the early show and people were mingling with the comedians after the show. The club is connected to another beautiful restaurant, so there is an opportunity to make a night of it all in one area. I really do like this concept. I liked that it was a newer clean space, that is also a downside for many, A few people joked that they were "playing a conference room" Only one of the monitors worked at a certain point. It did have a bit of that conference room feel. I think comedy clubs can have that reputation of being old, run-down and grimy. A clean feel has an upside, but I suppose does lose some of the charm. In terms of talent, I enjoyed 3 out of 4 acts and would be happy to go back. We live in Providence and it was an easy drive.

A few years ago, I enjoyed a guided tour of the theater, which provided a great background if its rich history highlighting the entertainment offered from vaudeville to contemporary performances. This evening's show was the comedic performance of Clue! I've also seen Jerry Seinfeld, Swan Lake, and many other great performances here. Compared to Broadway's theaters, the comfortable seats offer palatial legroom, and the Hanover seats 2,300 people, almost 20% larger than the largest theater on Broadway. The theater offers attendees beautiful architectural details, a seven-foot-tall chandelier and the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ with 2,495 pipes (no I didn't count those). Trying to find the venue felt like a fever dream - the inside of the building leading up to Rascals was just a maze of basement backrooms with barely ANY signage. It was very bizarre. When we finally found the actual entrance to Rascals we felt so accomplished. The cover was cash only, but they had an ATM right there. The space is BIG. I can see why it's such a popular venue for line dancing. So much room for activities! We got a drink & some change to tip the performers from the very sweet bartender & found a high top table near the back of the audience space so that we could have a good line of sight to the stage. It didn't take long for us to become chilly. It felt like it was 62 ish degrees inside, & since it's a basement venue with no windows, this felt really cold. Bring layers! Despite the crowd being a bit more subdued than what we're used to, the show still knocked our socks off. The acoustics were well balanced, the space allowed the performers to be creative, & you could see the stage from almost anywhere in the venue. I would definitely come back to Rascals for a special occasion, or maybe even to try their beginner line dancing classes, but I'd remember to dress warmly.

On a recent baseball game, I saw the Friday night fireworks that accompanied each home game. Now, I am glad that i don't live next door to Polar Park because those fireworks went for a long time. The quality of the field and experience is the same as Fenway with a small percentage of the price. I had the opportunity to be on the suite level with the DCU club and have visit the boardroom space. Every time I visit this park during a game day or other event it is well maintained.

It hosted acts and short movie performances of the day . It closed in 1965. It reopened in 1967 for a performance by Dean Martin. The theater was designed for the best possible audience at every corner the sound quality is clean and great. It offers two levels. It's a great place to listen to metal music.
