I had a terrible experience here. I was given someone to do my pedicure who wasn't actually a trained worker. The woman at the station next to us kept having to give her instructions and tell her what to do. I finally asked what was going on and the manager came over and finished my pedicure. The nail tech was extremely unfriendly and her own nails were unkempt. Dust and nail debris lay in the crease between the wrist pad and table of the adjoining unused station. She did a nice job on my gel manicure but the combination of not nice with unclean was not commensurate with a $40 experienc. read more

Unhappy with my manicure - I just wanted a regular French manicure, but the guy started giving me a gel manicure. When he put my hand under the uv box, I told him I didn't want a gel, and this really seemed to agitate him. He tried to talk me into it and said he'd have to soak off the polish and it "would be better for me" to go ahead with the gel. This was ridiculous because the uv hadn't set the polish yet. When I insisted, he went ahead and removed it as if it were hardened - roughed up my nail, wrapped in foil, etc. then he proceeded to do a messy job with the regular polish. Nails were rough on the edge and I had to fix them myself when I got home. While I was there I heard them pushing gels to other people. So if you like gel manicures and want to pay for them, this would be an ok place. But be prepared to stand up for yourself otherwise. Who needs that? read more

After reading so many glowing reviews, I was looking forward to trying Franklin Nails. I'm sad to say I was extremely disappointed. Maybe if you get a more expensive service, they use clean tools, but my technician used dirty, nasty stuff that was obviously not cleaned after the last client. There was no one in the shop, so it wasn't like the time couldn't have been taken to clean things. I know I should have gotten up and left, but I didn't, and that's my fault. At least the polish has lasted. It was done on Wednesday and I don't have any chips. She rushed it so much, I thought for sure it would chip. She wasn't rude, but she was not what I'd call friendly. I shouldn't have to get a more expensive service, which she really tried to talk to me into, to have clean tools. I will not go back. read more

I stopped here for some pampering during our vacation. The service was great, even though I dropped in close to the end of their evening. It was one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I wish I knew peoples' names but the woman who did the actual pedicure (she did not paint my toenails) did an amazing job not tickling me and gave me an extended massage since I had to wait a bit longer for my manicure. I was thrilled to find such a great nail salon near home. It is super clean and has an abundance of spa chairs for pedicures and plenty of desks for manicures. They great selection of OPI polish. They also have a ton of shellac colors to choose from. The staff is attentive and their "basic" manicures and pedicures have extras that other salons charge extra for. For example, you get a salt scrub and paraffin for no extra charge on manicures and scrub and hot towels for no extra charge on pedicures. Each time I've been here they have done a fantastic job on my nails and feet. Great place to relax and be papered for a great price. read more

I was pretty disappointed with this experience. I paid for SNS nails-$45 & $10 tip for $55 total, pretty normal pricing, the salon looked clean-I was excited to be there. I just moved to Franklin from Texas and it was my first experience in a salon since moving. First of all my nail tech didn't remove all of my bright pink polish when prepping my nails. This seemed super odd to me, I pointed it out to her and she ignored me-she then took a file to get some off-I want to point out that I had normal Essie polish on, no gel or special nail treatment. Should have been simple. She then started dipping my nails-SUPER SUPER THICK! I am pretty particular with SNS, I think because I've had them done since 2015 at many salons. My left pointer finger looked deformed-she tried fixing the bump and took off too much to where you could visibly see a discoloration. I told her they were too thick-she thinned them down some while seeming annoyed but it still looks like I have clubbed nails. They have a super expansive selection of colors and I was beyond excited about that. I'm planning on trying another salon next-this felt like a waste of $55. :( read more

The owner greeted me nicely; however, the woman who did my mani/pedi was terribly rough and abusive in her style of doing the pedicure (cut me twice)...trying to get done ASAP. She also did not understand English and could not communicate with me. Then when we got to the manicure, her hurried attitude remained...she ruined a nail in the middle of the procedure, then when she tried to correct it, she did not even replace the base coat (when I mentioned it, she was upset as she redid it!)....The place is not the relaxing and competent salon I think we all deserve. read more

I have been here twice in the past two weeks for an acrylic fill and gel polish change. My experiences couldn't have been more different. The first time Tina did my nails and did a fantastic job. They were even, the polish looked good, and she took her time to make sure they were done right. Today, a man (whose name I didn't catch) did them and completely ruined my opinion of this business. He seemed rushed and unconcerned about my experience throughout- not great, but we all have bad days. Okay. But, once the polish was done he pulled out a - rusty! - cuticle nipper and went to town. After he cut my little finger, he apologized and moved on. 5-10 minutes later after I have paid (full price) and gone out to my car, I notice that I am still bleeding so I go back inside to ask for a bandaid. When I get there and ask the lady at the counter for one she acts like she's offering me a huge service and keeps telling me that I must have had a hangnail (I didn't), acting like it's somehow my fault that there is now a quarter inch chunk out of my finger. I look forward to getting my nails done every week as my chance to relax and take a little time for myself, but obviously I can't count on getting that here. Perhaps it depends on the service you're there for but this salon was no different than any other I've been to. I got a gel manicure. It was OK. There are spots where the gel pooled by my cuticles and quite frankly looks like I did them myself. It seemed very rushed. I was in the chair for about 25 minutes. Will not be back!!! Terrible place. For the price I paid, I could have gone to a way more decent one. I decided to try this out because a friend of mine swore by it. They did the SNS and the polish is already chipping I got my nails done on 10/28/16 and by 10/30/16 the nail polish was messed up. Got a jelly pedicure and it was the worst experience ever!! They scrubbed my feet with this orange brush and it was the worst pain ever, she was trying to rub my dang skin off! my feet were so red when we left. The pedicure polish was done poorly, they missed some spots and since its so dark in there I didn't notice till I was outside in the day light. I only rated this a star because I couldn't do less. Visiting from of out of town. Found the place that was closest to me, with good reviews. This place is awesome! I got a chair as soon as I walked in the door. Very nice people. I got a mani/pedi and the pedicure was awesome! They gave me an extensive massage, and they used the little razor thing on my heels. Got them super smooth. Sugar scrub too! They also wrapped my legs in warm towels. After the massage. Felt amazing! Then, I was handed a bottle of water. All of these small gestures add up! The manicure was great. He took his time on my French tips (gel) and they look amazing! Then, I even got a wax dip on my hands! For shellac mani, and regular pedi- $60. Well worth it! Franklin Nails gave me the best mani/pedi I've had in a long time. Now a days I feel rushed at nail salons, and if I want a relaxing experience I've had to pay for it. Not here. With a gel manicure and pedicure, I was there for over an hour and a half. They really took their time. One week later, and both mani and pedi are going strong. So reasonably priced too! I received great service at this salon on my first visit yesterday. I get gel nails and I'm tired of paying $35 - $40 and not getting a decent manicure. Not only did Kenny apply the polish flawlessly, he took his time grooming my overgrown cuticles. The lady giving the Pedi really took her time and gave me a very relaxing leg and foot massage. The manicure was only decent. My pedicure polish was bumpy and chipped in just a few days. But worst of all, the salon was not clean. I really got nervous when the nail technician pulled a cuticle clipper out of a drawer with no discernible wrapper to determine its cleanliness. I hope and pray it was clean.
