The environment was toxic, and staff were frequently yelled at, belittled, and treated with disrespect. The doctor had severe anger issues and would often scream at employees over small mistakes or situations that were out of our control, making staff feel intimidated and worthless. One incident that pushed me to finally quit happened after an autistic patient came into the office. None of the staff were properly trained or qualified to handle patients with special needs, yet we were still expected to manage the situation without guidance. After the appointment became difficult, instead of handling it professionally, the doctor came into the back and started screaming at me, saying I was "useless" and questioning why I was even there. He aggressively spoke with his hands up while yelling at me, and I honestly felt scared and intimidated in that moment. I was backing away because I feared the situation was going to escalate further. When I told him I needed to walk away, he yelled "GO WALK AWAY" at me while I was already crying. What made the situation even worse was hearing staff make rude and insensitive comments afterward about the autistic patient, which I found completely inappropriate and unprofessional. After I went to management to say I was quitting, the response I received was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional, which confirmed for me that this behavior was accepted in the office culture. No employee deserves to be screamed at, humiliated, or made to feel unsafe at work. In my opinion, this office lacks professionalism, compassion, respect, and proper patient care. I would never recommend working here or trusting this office with your dental care.

Dr. Sirin purchased the practice that used to operate out of his current location. When you call…read morethe old number, the receptionist answers the phone "Dr. Sirin & Dr. Burren's office". However, Dr. Burren (from whom he purchased the practice) no longer has anything to do with the practice. After going to Dr. Burren for 10+ years, I was used to an efficiently run dentist's office and a dentist with kind bedside manner and a willingness to take the time to converse with you and get into details in regards to any questions you had about your teeth. My experience here was different. I arrived just in time for my appointment, but waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. When Dr. Burren ran the place, you never waited more than 2 minutes, tops. When the time came, my hygienist did a great job, but because she had not been properly trained on the new software which Dr. Sirin used, my appointment took longer than necessary and made for what I would describe as an "un-smooth" experience. When she was done, I waited another 10 minutes for Dr. Sirin to come in. When he did, he gave me a brief greeting, looked at my x-rays, and said, "What's the plan for these wisdom teeth?" Somewhat confused as to why a professional was asking me how I plan to proceed in regards to the very professional services for which he was paid, I said, "I don't know...you tell me?" With little to no explanation he told me that they should come out and that the receptionist would give me a referral and that was about it. When I went to pay the bill, the cost was significantly more for similar services than it was under Dr. Burren. I don't like writing bad reviews, but my hope is that other former patients of Dr. Burren will see this review and as a result save a bit of their precious time and money...two things for which, in regards to his patients, Dr. Burren had more respect.
