It took me a few years to find a reliable and high quality dentist office that had a full time hygienist on staff. Hygienist Dolores Plontke at Celebrating Smiles is awesome. She is very caring and accommodating to patients' requests and needs. She always delivers superb perio maintenance and cleaning. I am in their office 4 times a year for perio maintenance and occasionally for other dental work. I'm very happy that I found Celebrating Smiles. An added bonus about their location is that there are many other types of doctors in the same building, so it makes it easy to combine multiple doctor appointments on the same day. My wife had been bugging me to go to the dentist for...longer than I'd like to admit! I hated going to the dentist in the past because of the experiences I had. Dr. Chu office has the most amazing, polite, and helpful staff! I was having incredibly bad tooth pain and they found a way to fit me into the schedule the same day. Ladies at the front desk is a goddess!!! My appointment went smoothly, they handled getting the dental insurance information for the estimates, and they even called the orthodontist (to which I was referred) to make my appointment. Somehow they even got an appointment for an emergency procedure (to help with the pain) the SAME DAY. Have you ever had a dental emergacy and didn't have a dentist? Well I did and that is how I've come to know Dr. Chu and the staff at Celebrating Smiles. I had just moved back to the area and my former dentist had retired. I looked up emergency dentists and found Celebrating Smiles, called, told them my problem and they wanted to know if I could come right over. They were so helpful. The staff was very friendly which really put my children at ease. They had seen both Dr. Trivedi and Dr. Nguyen who I would recommend to everyone. Both doctors took an interest in my childrens well being and explained everything to them in a way they could understand. My kids seemed to be comfortable and at ease through their procedures. It super clean and nicely decorated inside. That says a lot about a practice. So the vibe when you first walk in is good. The front desk staff is so friend and big smiles when you first walk in. It feels warm and friendly. That's another plus. Dental assistants are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They explain everything clearly to where you can understand which helps a lot. I've been to a number of dentists over the years, and not always with great results or levels of comfort. I've only been going to Celebrating Smiles since Jan 2013, but it's a whole new experience. The facility is unique but comfortable. The hygienists and receptionists are always warm; and Dr. Cathy is my dentist - she's wonderful! My child had to have his first filling, scared he started to cry but Dr. Nguyen and assistant Vickie were able to calm him down by explaining what the procedure was and even sang to my son during the filling, in no time the filling was done and my son had a good experience at the dentist office. Today when I went for my six month checkup I was surprised because Dolores and Dr. Chu were not there. They have worked on my teeth for years. Instead I had Dr. Cathy and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. She was very friendly and personable. I had a great experience with her.
