Great in all areas; front desk, hygienist & dentist is great - good and pain free. The whole package.

I am sharing my experience so other parents are fully aware before bringing their children here…read more I brought my child to Smyles and Company Family Dentistry for a scheduled procedure and followed every instruction given by the office including administering prescribed medication before the appointment. Once we arrived I was informed for the first time that my childs front and lower teeth might be extracted. This possibility had not been clearly communicated to me beforehand. As a parent I immediately had questions because I wanted to fully understand why these extractions were suddenly being recommended before consenting to additional procedures on my child. Instead of receiving patience compassion or clear explanations I was met with rude dismissive and disrespectful behavior from a staff member named Brittany. Brittany spoke to me in a condescending manner and told me that because paperwork had been signed treatment plans could change and that I needed to proceed or the appointment would be canceled. When I continued asking questions and expressed discomfort moving forward without more explanation Brittany canceled the appointment and instructed staff to remove me from the office. I remained calm respectful and simply tried to advocate for my child and make an informed decision. The situation escalated unnecessarily and caused significant emotional distress especially while being pregnant. What concerns me most is that parents should never feel pressured rushed or dismissed when asking questions about their childs treatment. Informed consent matters and parents deserve the opportunity to fully understand proposed procedures before being expected to move forward. No treatment was performed and I still have not received my 150 dollar deposit back despite my child already being medicated and present for the appointment. I attempted to resolve the issue directly with the office but communication eventually stopped. I strongly encourage parents to ask detailed questions in advance and make sure they fully understand all possible treatment recommendations before arriving for their appointment.

My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM, yet I was not addressed until after 7:00 PM. During this…read moretime, no one acknowledged the delay or offered an apology. When I finally inquired about the situation, I was informed that the office was short-staffed. Had this been known in advance, I believe I should have been contacted to reschedule rather than being left waiting for an extended period. When I was eventually seen, I was asked to sign a document stating that I would not be permitted to accompany my three-year-old daughter into the treatment room for her visits, including routine cleanings. I was told this was due to liability concerns. This was extremely concerning, as my daughter is only three years old, and I have NEVER encountered such a policy elsewhere. She's literally three. They knew how old she was before we came. That's something you should probably let people know before they drive all the way to your place and wait almost 2 hours. Overall, the experience was highly unprofessional and disappointing.

Dr. Park and his…read morehygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth and was the only dentist able to get me in on such a short notice. They told me that I also have some cavities that needed to be taking care of. Luckily, Dr. Park managed to set another appointment for me even though his office was busy during the holiday. He was very detailed and gentle during the whole process. He also gave me some advice on how to brush my teeth and floss. I can honestly say this has been the best dental experience I have ever had. I was nervous at first but really glad I chose Geneva Smiles. I'm really happy with my teeth and service. Now I can enjoy the rest of my vacation.

About 6 months later the doctor called and very apologetically stated after many other complaints they realized their blue light wasn't working properly, which meant my filling never set. Fast forward to last night at Second Street Dental, who are wonderful by the way, and $900 worth of work taking out those fillings, fixing the decay that happened because of those bad fillings and fitting me for a crown. Talk about why people are scared to go to the dentist... Geneva Smiles is my reason!!!!
