When he was finished, he told me that I did a good job. I replied that was only because he did a good job. Blanca deserves kudos as well because she's always concerned about your comfort. If you're looking for a dental practice that prioritizes their patients and the best quality of care, I would drive 50 miles to go to North Aurora Smiles. I called and the staff virtually laughed and sent another check that took over 10 days to get to me. i had asked them to send it FEDX and they agreed but sent it US mail. They felt that I should not have gotten upset but they were the ones that were incompetent and disrespectful. The dentist is good but I tell everyone not to go there because you cant trust the back office. The staff said i used profanity and i was very upset on the phone, well after several calls to the insurance company and finding out the staff had not sent the proper information and then the dental office lost the first check sent from the insurance company and receiving a bounced check. I think I had a right to be quite upset. i sent a confidential letter to the Dentist which I did not get a response from and i dont even know if he received it. So i am done!

I have two 20+ year crowns on my front teeth (which caused decay, leading to bone loss) I saw him in March for a Bone Graft to correct the issue - it healed so nicely. Surgery was quick and almost painless. He has a very accurate with those injections! After waiting 6+ months, Dr Flynn then performed a gingivectomy (similar to crown lengthening) He did such fabulous work reshaping my gum line to prepare for new crowns. They look amazing. Varghesse put my brackets on in a way that they were continually breaking off. He told me that I clench to much, and he would not really be able to help me. He said I would probably need surgery which would cost 10's of thousands of dollars. I went to Kay for a second opinion. He said he could fix it. he took off all the brackets, and placed them in a way my teeth were not hitting - I never broke a bracket again. I finished my treatment early with Dr. Kay, and never had to have surgery; success! Oh, Dr. Kay charges like half of what Varghese was charging. I felt ripped off by Dr. Varghese. My feeling is that he is charging a lot of money for a fancy office, but is in the business of fixing "easy" cases at volume. If you think your case is a little more difficult, or if you want to save some money... or if you just want a really honest and competent guy - go with Dr. Kay.
