This place is awesome. We arrived around 5 pm for our appointment and our dentist did not send the correct referral paper work so we could not get X-rays done. However, the gentleman at the front desk manage to get a hold of our dentist after hrs and after about 30 we were able to get procedure done. He went out of his way. Most people would of turned us away but he went above and beyond. It was worth the wait....... I strongly recommend this place. Excellent service and very professional. read more

The worst! I moved to the area 1 year ago and needed to find a new dentist. This place is the worst. They complete a cleaning in under 15 minutes! The guy at the desk, not sure if he is the owner or married to the dentist is a total charlatan. Charged my insurance for something I had paid for and to top it all off, the dentist was in such a hurry to finish what I loosley consider to a be a cleaning, she chipped off a piece of my bottom tooth with her instrument. We moved back into the area from being out of state and needed to find a new dentist. I've been to both locations (sugar grove and Batavia). Both locations are newer and very clean and modern. They have TVs in each room including on the ceiling to keep you entertained while they do their work. Dr. Rathi is awesome. I had 5 fillings to do and she knocked it out quickly and was constantly concerned about pain management I even got a call a few days later from the office to check to make sure everything was still ok! I was able to get in as a new patient the next day. I was having an emergency and they jumped in to help. Dr. Rathi is so kind and understanding. She truly cares about your dental health! My husband who said he wasn't going to the dentist, registered with them and had an appointment set up before I was done. Unbelievable! Palm, who runs the business end of things is extremely knowledgeable and a great person to be in the front office. He and my husband got along great while I was back getting my tooth extracted. My regular dentist was closed over the Thanksgiving holiday. I woke up Saturday with a suspected abscess tooth. I called around and Pacer was open and got me in within an hour and a half. Staff and Dentist were great! Made me feel like I had been a patient there for years. Very impressed and grateful. Highly recommend! read more

I went to Pacer last year and had numerous fillings done.... I had one fall out within a couple months and was told it's because I grind my teeth. A few months later I had 2 additional fillings fall out. They charged a lot for the fillings outside of my insurance. I stopped going here. I went to a different dentist and they have to redo my fillings because they are done incorrectly! I do not recommend pacer!! read more

I wanted to make sure the dentist would be proficient in both adult and pediatric dentistry. She is clear, kind, compassionate, and she listens to you. The staff treats you like you're a VIP. The dentist took time out of her morning (even though they were not open for the day when I called) to research denture repair shops that might be open to help my grandma who fell and hurt herself, breaking her nose and top dentures while getting her mail. The dentist gave us excellent customer service even though her practice wasn't able to serve our immediate needs. That type of help, especially when a business has nothing to gain except the appreciation of a fellow human being, is so rare to come by and I appreciate her so much for helping us to find information and care for my grandmother. I haven't had a proper dental cleaning in a few years, and just went today to Pacer Dental. I have taken my five year old son twice here now, and they are awesome with him! I am not as brave as my son, and am quite a baby when it comes to the dentist. For the x-rays that the tech started with, they had the news on the TV that is in the room. A very nice touch, and great for someone to focus on when they have a bad gag reflex (ugh). Then I got to see Dr. Rathi. She's so sweet and also very informative. I had a lot of tartar, so she had to numb me and do a deep cleaning, root cleaning, and scaling. I don't know what much of that means, but it meant I had to get numbed. Anyways. I hardly even felt the numbing needles, and even during the cleaning she asked me several times if I was ok, or if I felt any pain. NONE. It was great. Even if I was shaking, because I'm a huge baby. Her entire staff is amazing, and I am making my husband switch over to their office. They are very high tech, and I feel Dr. Rathi is on her game with the latest techniques and technology. I've been coming here for about a year for regular cleanings and X-rays. They have always accommodated my work schedule and most of my appointments are scheduled for early evenings so I don't have to take a vacation or sick day at work. The cleanings are quick but thorough and they always explain any health issues I may have in terms that I understand (Dr. Rathi always takes the time to show me my X-rays and explain what they mean).They are also very affordable and offer payment plans which is great for someone my age. Their main concern is your oral health which is apparent in the way they run their practice. read more

I will start by saying I'm terrified of dentists and hate all dental procedures and try to avoid them, therefore I was loooong overdue to go to the dentist and need a lot of work done. The office is very modern, clean, and new. Everyone who works here is kind, caring, understanding, and truly wants to help you and make you comfortable. Dr. Rathi and staff are tremendous. I was seen today for dental concern that I called about in morning. Was seen promptly, issue was addressed with professionalism, compassion and expert care. I can't say enough about Dr. Rathi. She is extremely caring and incredibly skilled at what she does. You are never a number with her. Go here, you won't be disappointed. Our previous dentist did not take our insurance which led us to Pacer Dental. My children have had regular x-rays and cleanings prior to this. During the dental exam I was told my daughter had 7 cavities and my son had 2 cavities. It was suggested by the dentist that she could go ahead and fill them that day. I declined. I questioned how can a child develop 7 cavities that need fillings in a 6 month period??? She stated that if we don't fill them it will lead to bigger problems and eventually braces. I felt uneasy about it and left without making an appointment even though they were adamant that I schedule. I sought out a second opinion and had their x-rays sent to another office. One that has been in the area over 20yrs. Well guess what? My kids have ZERO cavities!!! Not only that, I was informed that Pacer took duplicate x-rays on each child. This is a clear example of fraud. Padding the bill to insurance and recommending procedures that are not needed. And btw, they did not even floss my kids teeth during the cleaning. read more
