Beautiful salon with a welcoming and talented staff! My hairdresser Liz is a natural and her personality is the cherry on top of her skilled blowouts and curls! I have also came in for a few layers and of course I had to ask for curls! Liz was great and very attentive to anything I needed. It's always super clean and I love the design to the salon! Just what Greenpoint needed! They even have a barbershop in the back which definitely comes in handy to parents coming in with their kids. Went to get a haircut with Frankie, who was amazing and really nails the casual, breezy, lived-in look that I was looking for. She was super communicative and took the time to explain everything and carefully go through everything we discussed; but once she started she was FAST! I was in and out in 50 minutes while never feeling rushed, and she made sure to stop at key points to make sure I was ok with the length and approach. Frankie does miracles!! I have curly hair and that can be annoying because most stylists don't really know how to cut it. But Frankie is amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted and she delivered! I can't recommend her enough. and if you're someone looking for a short cut with a buzz, I'd recommend Jordan! I followed Frankie here from her previous salon. I have fine thin hair and always thought I had no choice but to keep my hair short to keep it from looking stringy. That changed when I met Frankie! She makes it so easy, I never bring in a photo, I just say "I want some movement in my hair, make it shiny and bouncy" and 30 minutes later, it is! The salon has good vibes, and is very comfortable. It's a nice spot, I think they even offer complimentary wine. Prices are reasonable, competitive with other salons. read more

Been cutting my own hair for 10 years because I had such bad experiences of stylists not listening and always ended up with inches lopped off instead of a trim. Since my hair had gotten so long and unmanageable I decided it was time for some layers and a few inches off. This is the best haircut I've had in my life. To start off by saying, this salon is a LGBTQIA+ and women owned salon, which is already a 10/10. I've never felt so comfortable and welcoming entering Frankie and Jordans salon. Their service is one of a kind and professional. They're always making you feel great about yourself and go above and beyond for their clients which makes you never want to leave. There aren't enough words to express what an amazing artist Frankie is i came to her after many years of being dissatisfied with how my hair would look after a trip to a salon I didn't feel "amazing " but from the moment i sat in her chair i felt amazing she makes you very comfortable if you are a talker you are in for an amazing time introvert's do not fear she also is amazing at picking up on the energy of the client she is also honest on what your hair can achieve which i truly appreciate many of us go in expecting an exact look but we do not take into account our hair color texture or damage she is awesome at letting you know if you can achieve that look or the closest or what will work best with your features skin tone if you have no idea what you are looking for ( ive done all of these things with her ) the way she does foils is like a wizard she does them so meticulously that when your hair grows out you can go a super long time without getting your hair done ( if you wanted to you wont trust me ) I've gone a whole year without a touch up and my hair still looked amazing. She also is a masterful hairdresser im very laid back when it comes to a hair routine Frankie gives me a haircut according to how much maintenance i want to put into my daily routine sometimes i cant make it in on time to get a hair cut but my hair always grows out so beautifully you can't tell i need a haircut Frankie is just simply a master at her craft an artist who is in love with her art i truly encourage you to work with her you won't regret it I've been with her a couple of years and I absolutely love her come check out her space every one is welcome human or not !!!! read more

Jordan is the type of barber you spend years trying to find, and when you find her you stick with her. She knows what she's doing, but what you think is all that matters. She welcomes feedback but is always happy to make a suggestion. Plus, she's an absolute delight. She's been cutting my hair for a few years now and I cannot say enough good things.
