Needed a tailor in a pinch (as my old one had closed) and I found Frank. I bought two suits recently. A J Crew Ludlow and a DKNY suit. The Ludlow fit alright but the jacket was bucking up near the collar. The DKNY suit had pants that were advertised as slim fit but were clearly too baggy. I brought everything to Frank, told him exactly how I wanted the pants to fit. He pinned them up and promised to stretch the waste an extra inch for me. He took the jacket shoulders out an inch to stop the bunching. I returned two days later to pick everything up. Everything fits perfectly. The suit pants had been altered twice at the store I bought them, he was able to correct the bad alterations without leaving a crease. The pants are stitched all the way through, the hem does not sag and will not get caught on your sock. The jacket is no longer bunching but still looks completely brand new. Frank is an expert craftsman. Feeling extremely fortunate I found this place. Recommended 100%. read more

A hidden gem. This is by far the best tailor you will find around here. About a year ago, I had to find a new tailor as the person I used to go to in Hoboken retired. I have tried different tailors in Hoboken, Weehawken and Edgewater before finding Frank & Linda. Their service is excellent, they have a fantastic attitude towards their work and customers and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of work they put in. His expertise has given me a great fit in the pieces iv brought him. He's always given me great input in the fit or even how the pricing will be with the alterations. I live close by but would never have found this shop but for Yelp. Just a small operation that collects five-star reviews. It's run by a personable couple and is a pleasant experience, as tailor shops go. I had bought a suit on line and brought it in on the shop's required appointment. They told me the jacket was perfect -- what a relief! -- and the pants just needed to be hemmed. They called me a few hours later to tell me it was ready. Though I had a Saturday appointment to pick it up, I called them late Friday to get it after work. Frank said he'd stay late if I called a little before closing to give him my progress, and he did! We had my husbands suit for our wedding tailored here. Frank and his wife are extremely nice, and they make you feel right at home. They were generous and reasonable, and did a great job with my husbands suit. He had the pants hemmed, and sleeves shortened in his suit. I believe it came out to be like $90. No clue if that's reasonable or not, but he did have to remove like 6 buttons on the sleeves and put them back. The service is impeccable though. read more

Wonderful work! I bought a really nice, special edition ladies jacket from the Maserati online store, but they only had a size M, while I am usually a small or XS. I took my chances and bought it anyway, and as I should've expected, it was way too big and boxy so I decided I'd have it tailored. I found Frank on Yelp and based on these reviews I expected he'd do good work with this one-of-a kind jacket. He did amazing work with it! Its a quilted pattern jacket so it was not easy to make it smaller and still look right with the pattern matching up but he did it and in fact, it actually looks better than the original, with a more fitted, feminine tailored look and much more slimming. I love it! On top of the great work, both Frank & Linda are really nice and provide very fast service. Highly recommended. read more

Brought my wedding suit in to get tailored. Even though Frank has heading out for vacation in a week and a half, he agreed to do it for me. I honestly had no idea what the suit needed to look good (first time getting a suit tailored). Frank and his wife Linda were extremely helpful and treated me like family. In the end, I needed to have the waist taken in, the pants slimmed down,and the jacket was a little wide in the back. I'm sure Frank worked late nights to get everything done in 3-4 days, which to me was incredible. The difference was night and day after he was done.
