We could not be happier with the quality, design, look (very modern) and the whole process. To start, Todd, the owner & CEO, was so responsive, professional and helpful. He came out personally to measure and examine our space. We had installed a CabanaX on our great room patio and needed it moved to our deck before the new structure could be built - he assured us that they could handle it. We upgraded to the walnut louvers which looks so realistic! The upgraded louvers also are impressive because they are flat and fit together in a tongue and groove almost beadboard style which makes the wood look real without the typical curve found on louvers. This has made the structure flow from our house in such a way that it feels like an entire extension of our house. We feel like our Great Room is now also the patio and it just flows. The ability for them to attach the structure to our house on two sides and then use a double thick beam that can extend the 27' with only one column post is significant for making the space feel open and usable. Not having multiple posts or columns is a game changer. The way that Outdoor Elements can work with you to design a structure that meets your needs and then exceeds your expectations is commendable. There is no other company that can offer this level of customization, personalization, quality, and customer service. We reviewed all the competitors and got bids from all of them before going forward with Outdoor Elements and our research proved to be correct and helped us make the best decision that we will enjoy for many years to come. We went through one of the atmospheric river rains and were so shocked how much the structure exceeded our expectations - all of our furniture that was underneath the structure stayed dry! The gutters work splendidly. We often dealt with our furniture needing to still be hosed down after being under our Cabanas so this was a big win. The quality of Outdoor Elements compared to Struxure is top-notch and so remarkable. We had invested in the CabanaX's by Struxure and while we do like them we had hesitated with Struxure because they didn't have the finishes and details we wanted. I am so thankful that we waited until we found Outdoor Elements who delivered a structure that is so much more functional, elegant, seamless and with all of the finishes we had hoped for! The LED lights are bright and even dimmable, the LED color uplights are so fun and allow you to trick out your structure in any color of your choice. The other significant difference and major improvement - the app! The Outdoor Elements app works really well. We can use it easily from our phones and not just rely on a remote. The installer was Jamie and he was thorough, detailed and responsive. He has a great understanding of building and was even able to disassemble, move, cut down to size and reassemble our CabanaX to our deck. We now have finished out our outdoor backyard space in a way that we want to use daily. I know this structure was an investment that will continue to give us dividends. They helped to transform a so-so tract home front yard into something attractive and our pile of dirt back yard into something beautiful. Along the way, Roy was good at communicating with us and his team. His team are masters at their craft and take pride in their work. Their attention to detail with things we didn't even think of was appreciated - such as adding a small grade to the patio so water all flows into the drains they installed. When we miscommunicated or if something wasn't up to our extremely high standards (like we wanted one side of the firepit to be moved over 3/4"), Roy simply had his team fix it. The other big plus was Roy's willingness and ability to communicate with our pool contractor. I barely was involved. Both of them discussed plans and Roy listened to what our pool contractor needed for drainage around the pool and how tile should be placed around the pool cover well. I didn't have to worry about gas lines, drainage etc.. they figured out what needed to be done between them. Roy typically focuses on 1-2 jobs at a time, so there was momentum on our job. We saw many of our neighbors abandoned by their contractors half way, disappearing for a month or more, but Roy's team kept showing up, and got our job done quite quickly. When we had issues with our polymeric sand setting (something to do with our tile - Roy used the same polymeric sand and base at other sites and it worked), Roy and his team persisted in finding a solution. Even though everything was pretty much done, they tried several times to make things right. Finally, we found an Irish product on Amazon that did the trick. It's not a product typically sold in the US and is applied differently from regular polymeric sand. Roy made sure his team watched the videos and went over the instructions with them so the product was applied correctly. We are so happy he helped us find a solution (and we learned a lesson - sometimes it's better to stay away from super cheap, need to clear the store room, product)! In summary, working with Roy Murillo and his crew was a great experience. His pricing is reasonable (I compared several landscapers), and he and his crew truly know what they are doing. I have recommended them to family and neighbors and would work with them again in a heartbeat.

However, the way this company has handled a clear mistake is extremely disappointing. During installation, their team drilled into the tile on our second-floor balcony and failed to seal the holes. When it rained shortly after, water came through those openings and caused damage to the ceiling in our dining room below. This was entirely preventable and directly tied to the installation. What's more concerning is what happened next. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. I've been in contact with their employee (Elizabeth), who acknowledged the issue and repeatedly said it would be taken care of. Despite those assurances, there has been zero follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and more recently I've been completely ignored. At this point, the issue is no longer just the damage; it's the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen. Ignoring a customer after causing property damage is a much bigger problem. If you're considering this company, just be aware: the install may go well, but if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. I'm still hoping they step up and resolve this properly, but based on my experience so far, I would proceed with caution.
