My billing was off and this started at the beginning of COVID. I called and talked to them and they half-heartedly explained the billing. Long story short, I eventually was sent to collections for a $17 bill after already paying my co-pay after the visit. I called asked them to explain why it was higher after I already paid some. She was extremely rude to me after I asked if I could pay it off to them and just deal with my insurance and said: Uck, no! I then asked if I could get a new appointment for her and my son, and she very rudely said that it had to be paid off before she could invite us back. I just tried to pay it off? She hung up really quickly after that and I even asked my husband if I was the one being rude on the phone because I was so shell shocked about how rude I was treated. So that's the story of how I got sent to collections over a bill that didn't make sense, tried to pay it off, then left their practice.

We briefly moved to another popular practice where I just wasn't feeling it. The whole experience with Dr. Adam's office has been positive, and that's saying something considering it consisted of my daughter getting a filling and an extraction! The staff and Dr. Adam were all helpful, explained options and were respectful of questions and concerns. Dr. Adam didn't try to guilt me into treatment when I asked if extraction was an option given her age and the tooth being a primary tooth. He explained the pros and cons of both without bias. The procedure itself was great - my son had an extraction at another office and the experience was less positive. She didn't even feel the novocaine shots and didn't know he had pulled the tooth. She was so nervous about this procedure and I can't thank the office enough for making sure it didn't become a traumatic experience. 10/10 would recommend this office!

I set up a payment plan which was fine until they upped the payment without communicating once again. I asked why they did not call me and they tried telling me that I stated I wanted to be contacted by email. Never once did I say that. And I never received an email from them either. We will not be going here again.

My husband and I have been patients of Bennett Valley Dental for a couple years now. I don't…read moreusually leave reviews, but I want to take a moment to acknowledge Dr. Settimi and her staff. Since moving to Sonoma County in 2015, Dr. Settimi's office is the 4th dentist office we've tried and we couldn't be happier. The office is painted a calming lavender and everyone who works there seems genuinely happy. You can tell it's a healthy work environment. The front office staff offer excellent customer service - they are welcoming and have helped answer several of my insurance-related questions. The two hygienists I've seen were easy to chat with and provided excellent cleanings. The staff have never tried to up-sell me on products or procedures - something that happened at all 3 previous offices I visited. Dr. Settimi recently replaced a failed cavity that was located between my back molars - which seemed like a tricky location. She and her assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout and the procedure and I am very happy with the dental work preformed. The dental coverage through my employer recently changed, so I have to pay a bit more out-of-pocket to visit Bennett Valley Dental. Despite this increased cost, I plan to remain a patient for as long as I reside in the area.

Not accommodating to families who have elementary age youth and toddlers- different time and day requirements 3. 30 minutes cleanings are over $300 4. If you miss an appointment and God forbid you forget to call them within their 48 hour window, they charge you a $95 cancellation fee, yes, you are ready that right...$95 and your kid doesn't even get their teeth cleaned. 5. Upon greeting the kids, they pretty much ignore the parents and parents are not welcome in the cleaning the room. 6. They missed a major significant issue with my son regarding the way his teeth were growing in, which required major surgery on his part. It was never brought up, even after xrays. 7. Oh and they will hold your children's records hostage until you pay off the cancelation fee. They don't care if you can't afford it or not, which tells you how much they care about your kids gum health. 8. I asked around to co-workers and friends what their dentist policy's were and fees- NONE of them ( I asked a lot) said they were ever charged a cancellation fee for a missed appointment and if they were it was maybe $25 or $30 dollars. Don't bother with this place, there are plenty of qualified dentists that actually work a normal schedule that would be glad to accommodate your busy life with kids and work.

The ambience of the office is awesome as well. they have cool kites hanging all around and a few pac-Man arcade games, one for small kids, and one for bigger kids. Nice little bonus. It was so important for me to be able to find a DDS that made her excited and not scared and I think I found that in Dr Oliver's office.
