I had an issue with one of my fleet vehicles having a squeak somewhere on the front axel. He was able to not only solve it, but explain to me what he was checking and looking for. Having that knowledge is crucial for the business I operate. On top of that-- he responded and set everything up in less than an hour-- in two hours the vehicle was road worthy and ready for the next rental later in the week. Very reasonably priced, very high quality work, extremely knowledgeable and personable. John is the gold standard for automotive maintenance.

So nice to see that it is not a corporate chain, or a teeter... or an unused strip mall. Went there recently for my kids car, which had a sensor that I could not replace. Brought in early on Friday morning, they ordered the part and gave me an 1100 (roughly) dollar estimate. Cam shaft sensors are not easy to get to, btw. They got the part in, got it fixed before the end of the day, and my bill was ~850 bucks. They didn't need to replace one of the sensors, and said to me, why spend the money if you don't need to. Respect that. If you get there early, you can generally wait a short time for simple stuff like oil change or junk. I just drop it off and pick it up after work. Muuuuuuccccccchhhhhh better than going corporate or dealer, by far!

For a young female like me this is the best quality you can find in a repair shop. They just fixed what I needed done, the most straight forward way possible and very quickly. I dropped it off in the morning and it was done the same day. And the price was reasonable too, I know because I got a quote from a different place in Durham that tried to up-sell me for more than twice the price. Don't take your Audi/VW anywhere else! The whole place had such good vibes: everyone I met was pleasant, upbeat, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I got to meet the owner, Steve, along with my car's new bff Pablo, who went above and beyond during what was scheduled as a simple service visit. He affixed my front license plate, cleaned the inside of my windshield (!), let me tag along on the test drive, and even brought me into the shop to see my car's underside once it was up in the air. How did he know I would absolutely love that? Little things mattered too: the waiting area was comfortable, clean, sunny, and quiet, with a thoughtfully planned garden out front. Rates were refreshingly reasonable--and not one cent over the estimate. It was such an exceptional experience, one that gave me real confidence and peace of mind that my car is in good hands.
