AMAZING! To die for donuts!! I had it delivered and they put tamper evident stickers on the bag so I would be able to tell if anyone were to mess with my food when it was on its way to me. OK...so I knew Francisco's had the bomb baked goods, but we ordered a cake for our daughter's 2nd birthday from this place and it was AWESOME! He custom made Dora and her friends on the cake! They looked amazing! I can't believe he can do it free hand! The cake itself was delicious, we got 1/2 white cake and 1/2 chocolate cake with cream cheese filling, and the whip-cream frosting was delicious! Top notch in my book. Randomly found myself in the Tri-Cities with some friends and we were craving something sweet so I asked a random guy where we should go and he sent us to Francisco's. I'm glad we listened! What awaited us was case after case of delicious pastries. My group got several cookies (the one with M&Ms being a particular standout). The donuts we tried were all great (especially the little donut man that I posted a picture of), so tasty! Some other reviewer compared the donuts to those you find at the grocery store...honey I think the Hanford radiation has affected your taste buds, because the donuts at Francisco's bear no resemblance to that garbage! The purveyor was super friendly and attentive. Great prices as well, for all I got here I'd probably get one lonely donut in Seattle! If you like red velvet cake at all, Francisco's red velvet cupcakes are a must try! They are a favorite of my husbands and it's where I go and what I get for special celebrations. The staff are always very friendly when I pick up the cupcakes. All good at this bakery! We've had donuts, muffins, chocolate turnovers, poor boy rolls churros and cookies, so far at this baker - oh! and coffee. EVERYTHING we've had from here has been excellent!! The muffins and churros are so awesome the kids pick those over donuts! AND the donuts are big and fluffy and yummy... everything they make (that we've tried) is that awesome. In the morning we've caught fresh baked warm churros a couple of times and I could eat those everyday of the week. They are big enough that one each fills the kids for breakfast. They are only .75 each and half a dozen does our family for a breakfast meal. The muffins are nothing short of amazing and you MUST ask for the pina colada muffin - they don't have it everyday (either it sells out or is a specialty, haven't figured that out yet) but I think my husband would eat that 8 days a week! We love Viera's but going all the way to Pasco from Kennewick for baked goods doesn't happen very often... Now that I have Francisco's I'm going to become huge! :) Give them a try, especially in the morning for breakfast cuz you'll be very satisfied. Everytime I go I pick up the poor boy rolls, I'm sure there's an official name for them but that's the best I got - anyway I'm talking about the individual bread loaves that you can cut Subway style for a sandwhich. They are so perfectly crusty on the outside with fluffy bread inside. And whatever we don't use for sandwhiches the day I buy them we put in fridge and I slice up and bake wrapped in foil with garlic butter and my husband can't get enough of it as a side dish. I ordered a cake for my sons birthday party since my sister had ordered one from there back in November for her sons birthday party and the design was really nice and the cake tasted super good...UNFORTUNATELY I made the mistake of ordering a cake from these people instead of going with Viera's Bakery like I did last year.Well, first of all Fransisco did a REAL CRAPPY job on the design, I had to take it back and ask him to air brush it (which I wanted in the first place) AND he even admitted to me that he didn't like the design either but he thought I'd like it (WHY WOULD YOU SELL SOMETHING THAT YOU DONT EVEN LIKE YOURSELF!) So I went back for the cake later and the design was way better looking than before BUT still could've been way better looking. During the party we started eating the cake and the cake was suppose to be tres leches BUT it was so dry that it didnt even taste like tres leches! anyways, I will NEVER go back here again!!! Im sticking to Viera's Bakery which makes AMAZING designs and their tres leches cake ISNT DRY!! Instead of wasting $50 I could spent $40 on a nice good tasting cake,too bad I listened to my sister and ordered from Fransisco's Bakery!! We consider Francisco's to be a local treasure. To those other reviewers who thought their pastries weren't sweet enough, I would respond by saying that in our experience, Mexican pastries surprisingly enough are not terribly sweet. We have lived in Mexico and still travel there yearly so we do have some first hand experience with this. If you go to Viera's, Fiesta Foods or SuperMex, you will find the same thing. And Francisco's bakes a wonderful white loaf bread (I don't normally like white bread) that is to die for. A loaf of that bread and some salami and cheese and you have everything you need for a great lunch. The prices are cheap and the people friendly. They put a whole piece of bacon on it, not little pieces like other places. Also, they have stuffed bread with cream cheese and jalapeño or jamón and cheese.
