By observation and also by experience the managers and employees are helpful and nice. Today I had a pick up and need to buy more tiles. Ashley was super friendly. She greeted me as soon as I came in the store! And she was apologetic that I had to wait, for my additonal purchase but I didn't mind. They had a little bit of a rush at the register. Zayden "Zay" is also a nice employee, he's the one that gathered the new set of limestone tiles out. I learned something everytime we've come here. Last time,a female employee helped us out with limestone tiles. I learned that the shade, caliber, and grade of tiles should all be the same on a box so that the tiles can match more. Otherwise if you get the same tile with two different shades and grades it's gonna look off and funky. Only thing is, I can't find an employee. It would be helpful if there was help buttons all around the store. That would be my only recommendation.

There are definitely plenty of great finds throughout the store. Unfortunately, the customer service and overall shopping experience left a lot to be desired. Employees rarely acknowledged or greeted customers, and several seemed bothered when customers were shopping in the areas where they were working. I also noticed several damaged items sitting on the sales floor, which made the store feel less maintained than it should be. The checkout experience was especially disappointing. There were approximately 15 customers waiting in line with only one cashier working. Meanwhile, two managers were standing near the front having what appeared to be a personal conversation. They spent about five minutes talking and then walked away without offering any assistance to the cashier or the customers waiting in line. The merchandise selection is definitely a strength, but good products can only go so far. Better customer service, more attention to the sales floor, and stronger leadership presence at checkout would make a big difference in the overall experience.

I did that and after months went by, I finally got an email that it was back in stock. I went back to the Lakewood store and they told me the chair would have to be ordered. So Michelle ordered it. I heard nothing for another month and then Michelle called to let me know it had finally arrived at the store AND there was an ottoman. She honored the initial price and was extremely helpful holding the two pieces until I could pick them up. It's rare to find someone who follows through over a months long process and provides such caring support. I highly recommend Michelle and this location.

One of our favorite things is to look through clearance items. We were hoping to maybe find some bargain buys. We didn't. Some items were on clearance alright, but the discount wasn't significant enough to peak our interest. From $3.99 to $3.49, or from $5.99 to $5.00. Meh. And I found a few items with red tag prices higher than the regular price tag. I know... that doesn't make sense. Please refer to one of the pictures attached where the original compare price is at $14.00, and their price is $9.99 but the red tag price is $12.00. WHAT?! We saw a few of these. It was a little off putting. And that's how I lost interest. We ended up leaving empty-handed. The store was pretty clean and organized. I didn't have any interaction with staff members, so I can't comment on that. We simply didn't find anything interesting or worth buying. Okay first run. Not ruling it out altogether, but it may be awhile before that 2nd visit, if at all.
