Visited Coppola winery during Taste of Alexander Valley (April 2026). They offered their sneak preview wine tasting as complimentary. It featured three wines - 2024 Diamond shimmer white blend , 2023 Directors Cut Zinfandel and 2023 Diamond Claret. I purchased the shimmer white blend, perfect for sitting outside during the upcoming summer months. Their wines are widely available in the local area stores, so I regularly buy their Prosecco. The wines are approachable and reasonably priced. The grounds are expansive offering a destination feel welcoming the entire family. The estate features wines, a restaurant, a pool and film memorabilia. If you're a fan of Coppola movies it's a must visit. The memorabilia includes items from Apocalypse Now, Dracula, The God Father ( to name a few). The memorabilia area is free. Love The God Father? - take a picture with Don Corleone's desk. There is also the Torpedo car from Tucker. You can easily spend the day here. In the summer they offer a Tuesday night dinner series that is part theater part family style dinner - be immersed in a big boisterous Italian family dinner. I definitely want to attend one of these upcoming dinners. It's a fun place with lots to see and do.

Summer has arrived. A day by the pool, wine tasting, and peace. Pool time was relaxing, and peaceful. Not crowded so it was worth the visit. We followed with wine tasting and took in those beautiful views! Throughout the day we received excellent service and enjoyed the serene ambiance. What a perfect setting for a memorable experience.

Excellent place to visit as the wonders has a wonderful restaurant where we ate at, a lovely mini Musuem to see the highlight of movies and props the Coppola family directed did like Godfather, Marie Antoinette and etc. Interesting facts and pieces of several outstanding movies. There is wine tasting available as well. I enjoyed my time here. What was also unique at this winery besides the Musuem was there was a pool here, reserve cabine, and pool bar cafe. This is definitely unique to find at a winery. This is a good winery to visit.

Despite this winery's remote location, it still garners over 1000 reviews. Lots of yelpers really love the pool here and there are a number of events that do surround it. There is so much to see here which obviously includes numerous momentos of Coppola's movies. There's so much to see here because it is both a winery and museum. You can make a reservation to sit in their tasting room upstairs and try their wines for a price like we did. You can also dine in the restaurant downstairs (The Rustic) and purchase some tourist swag. The food menu at the rustic is pretty limited, but very good. Service from both the restaurant and winery staff is as professional as it gets. Coming here will leave a lasting impression on you. Check out the fun and informative photos/video.

We visited Coppola as part of three vineyards my boyfriend took me to for my birthday. We enjoy a good cab sav by Coppola at home so we thought it would be a good time. Not only was the tasting and lunch delicious, but I had no idea Coppola was the director of Brom Stoker's Dracula. (To be fair I never pay much attention to producer's or directors.) so when I saw the attire and props from the movie it was a VERY nice surprise. (I love that movie and vampires in general so I was nerding out a little.) The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The vineyard itself is beautiful and inside was neatly decorated with various movie props. I'd def go back in the warmer months to take advantage of a glass of wine by the pool.

My friend and I came for a 3pm tour and an early dinner. This was on a Friday. The tour was informative and interesting, but lacked action. We had hoped to see people in the production areas putting labels on bottles or corking them, etc. In the restaurant, we ordered a couple of drinks, but mine they wouldn't (or couldn't) make. I was encouraged to go to the pool- lounge bar, order it and return. When I came back to the table, Mai Tai in hand, we proceeded. The drink thing was the only odd part of our visit, and not worth knocking them down a whole star. We both ordered the wild salmon, which was seared and seasoned to perfection and accompanied by fresh organic vegetables from the garden below, which we explored afterwards. The weather was fantastic and the people watching was fun too! You can't go wrong with this place--it's absolutely incredible; filled with architectural and environmental beauty. Parking is fairly abundant, though shaded spots are few.

Loved my visit to Francis Coppola Winery! Took the winery tour, definitely worth the $10 a person! Was very cool to see the inside of the winery operations as well as all the movie memorabilia. Our tour guide was great and answered all our questions. The grounds are gorgeous! I want to come back during the summer season to see the pool in action and play some bocce! Can't wait to return and try the cute looking restaurant as we were told the food is very good.

My family and I came here to celebrate mine and my siblings birthday and we had a great time. We had pizza which the kids loved, crust just right. I had the seafood pasta, I think it could use more flavor it was a little too bland for me. Calamari had barely calamari it was mostly the cruncy batter. We did have a great service despite the below average food. The plaace was nice but it was a little too tight as were packed next to another big group even though the place had barely anyone in it.

Very good Italian food. The clam linguine was perfect, they peeled the cherry tomato skin and covered by light buttery sauce in my salmon dish, just simply love it. After the lunch we did a little tour in the winery. How lovely! Will be back soon.

Great place for wine tasting. It is a far drive. We got invited by our friends who are wine club members. My favorite wine is the Archimedes. They have a restaurant here, called Rustic...very good food. Would come here again!

Wow this is a Hollywood style winery full of attractions and with Omni presence of Francis Coppola a great master of the big screen. From Apocalypse now, Count Dracula to the God Father; we have all been inspired and mesmerized by his cinematographic genius. Now to the winery you have a bistro like tavern, a restaurant, several shops and of course a cool wine tasting spot with some delicious wines. In 1975, with the profits from The Godfather series, Coppola purchased Niebaum Mansion in Rutherford, California, along with 100 acres of premium Napa vineyards. Niebaum was once part of Inglenook, which some consider the most beautiful wine estate in the world.

This is the perfect place to go for film and wine lovers! I am very grateful I had the experience of being here. I made reservations for a tasting and lunch about a month in advance. It would have been nice to have the option of making the tasting reservation online, but calling was still extremely easy. I believe I called and left a message and my call was returned the next day. Finding the winery is easy (provided you don't lose reception on the way) and there is plenty of parking! The grounds are stunning and the building is beautiful! Being a quasi-cinephile, I really appreciated seeing the awards, costumes, and film memorabilia. Very cool being able to sip wine among film history. We were seated for our tasting indoors as it was too rainy for the terrace. Deb was wonderful as she walked us through the reserve wines. We ended up joining the wine family and our tasting was free! We also got an additional taste of the Archimedes - a lovely touch. I would love to come back in the future when the weather is a little nicer and maybe catch a game of bocce!

I absolutely love the Francis Ford Coppola winery. I have been to the one located in the general Napa area, and this was my first time at this new location in Healdsburg. Yes, if you're visiting Napa, do you want to go to the original location unless you're looking to drive an hour and a half to this newer location. Is it worth a drive?! Hell yes it is! This is a great location for a date ( we enjoyed it), hanging with friends, etc. If you love the nostalgia of old Hollywood, coupled with the great works of Francis Ford Coppola ( nostalgia), you will absolutely adore this place as much as I do. It's very reminiscent of Hearst Castle in many ways, and the pool and cabanas are a must see. Everything about the property is breathtaking. You're free to wander about and shop in the store located downstairs, or if you've made reservations for one of their winetasting/dining areas, you will love everything about the experience. While you don't need reservations for the general bar area, it's small and you don't have the same experience , as you would the other locations. They offer every wine that they produce for tastings, and many of them are available for purchase in the store. The store also carries a couple of unique wines that are only available at the property. The wine varieties are all wonderful, and if you're looking for a place to enjoying either a glass, or a flight, this is that place! There is an additional restaurant that is on site, but reservations are currently required. Tastings are reasonably priced, and an experience to be enjoyed. You will not feel rushed or hurried out. Go enjoy! Tell them I sent you ;-)

When I tell you that my friend and I were hooked from beginning to end during our tasting, I am not kidding you. Reece was absolutely phenomenal and so was our entire tasting experience at Zialena. After passing by Zialena several times on my trips to DeLorimier, my friend and I finally decided to check them out for a tasting. You know I have to start off with their estate and grounds. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I will always be a fan of classic winery setups, BUT... I LOVED the modernized look of Zialena! The exterior of their building alone is so eye catching and unique. And then you walk inside and think, damn this place is so chic and hip! I love the artwork, I love the stylish tables and chairs with the bright orange seat cushions, I love the youthful and fun atmosphere and vibe. It's just wonderful. Those views! I underestimated how great they'd be because you can't see much from the outside. But once you're sitting on their patio, the views seem to be endless. Countless views of the hills and their beautiful vineyards. It helped that it was a stunning day outside too. Reece set us up on their side patio which was glorious. Now about this wine; fan-freakin-tastic! I loved every single wine that I tried. All were scrumptious. I'll get more into the wines in a bit, but first I'm gonna tell you a little bit about what I learned from Reece. Although the actual tasting room is newish, the winery is a fourth generation run operation by the Mazzoni family. The family hails from Italy and they've been harvesting grapes and producing wine for years. The winery is actually named after their Great Aunt Lena (Zia Lena in Italian). Mark and Lisa (sister and brother) are the owners and they also run the winery. Zialena grows grapes for over 90 different varietals and all of them are estate grown! That's right; those vineyards that surround their property are actually their own. They use whole cluster fermentation to produce their wines which basically means that they ferment the grapes with the stems (the stems aren't removed). This allows for more of an elaborate flavor profile in their wines. They also ferment in concrete with the top open. Never really heard of open top fermentation prior to coming here, but it allows for more oxygen to come in contact which helps with faster yeast production amongst other things. Alright, let me take my geeky wine brain hat off for a second. Reece had us completely engaged during this tasting. I literally started taking notes because it was so much interesting information. But those wines, dear GEEZUS! So, so good. Their unique fermentation techniques really paid off because their wines are so rich and complex. We tasted one welcoming white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) and 4 reds which were all incredible. The Cappella Red Blend was to DIE for and undoubtedly my favorite wine of the bunch. The spices were so pronounced but yet the wine went down oh so smooth. Took a bottle of that and I don't think it even lasted a few days. Reece was so knowledgeable and confident. This man probably could have sold us the earth and we would have bought it. Seriously. So engaging and we loved it. But wow, I'm impressed. Zialena is a one of a kind.

Say no more! Everything to love about this place...most exceptionally the vino…read more Don't judge - we managed almost 4 hours taking in the vino & especially the views.

Had a GREAT time here a few weeks ago. We got together a group of 10 of us for an afternoon trip…read morewith both wine and olive oil tasting. I don't normally drink wine but came for the olive oil and the experience and it did not disappoint! I also eventually changed my mind that red wine can be good:) We were seated indoors and Edd gave us the rundown of what we'd be tasting for the afternoon complete with stories and lots of fun facts. (I now look at any bottles that say "cold pressed" with some light skepticism since it's clearly only written there for marketing purposes!) We ordered a selection of the panini sandwiches, the burrata and butternut squash salad, and the charcuterie board. The fire cheese was delicious and the spread was perfect. Throughout lunch, Edd brought us different wines to taste and by the end we were most definitely sold on the Stone Soup (the red version). The olive oil tasting was so much fun. First of all the bread was so delicious. And then we tasted about 15 (?) different olive oils or vinegars. The raspberry, lemon, and garlic ones were clear favorites. My personal favorites were the garlic and sage. Even though it was a bit of a rainy & cloudy day, the views from the patio were beautiful. We finished our wine out by the fire pit outside, and now I really need to come back during the summertime when the skies are more clear for the full experience. I left with lots of olive oil and great Christmas gifts for the family. The four piece olive oil sets are perfect for that and I brought one home for my family and we did our own inspired mini taste testing (I still miss Trattore's bread tho). 10/10 recommend and yes I definitely want to come back for the summer views and this pizza oven I keep reading in all the other reviews:))
