This winery sits over a sprawling mountain of greenery. They have an estate you can rent on the other side of the vineyard that comes with a gorgeous pool overlooking the valley. It's beautiful! Dry creek is a beautiful road but then exiting it to head back in the hills to Reeve is adorable and feels like wine country chill vacation. Elliot greeted us with some rose and was ready for us by name. We sat with some friends and john took the tasting from there. A lovely Healdsburg dude made it great. They make pizzas from scratch to go with your tasting which are delicious. They have a variety of wines. Wine is such a personal experience. We bought some but I am hesitant to comment on wine until we have it at home for some reason but we liked a red and a couple whites from our tasting. This is truly though a kind of magical experience though. The place is back in the trees and hills. There are goats and dogs wondering the property. Nice music. Pizza wine and lovely people. We came for a bachelorette as a group of 22 people and the service here was amazing! I'm not huge on wine so I won't speak too much on it but the pours were generous and great to enjoy with the pizza. 10 stars for the pizza oven!!! It's rare that I go to winery that offers a free cheese plate let alone pizza!! I cant remember which pizzas we were served the day we went but both were so good! We enjoyed our Monday appointment at Reeve Wines, which we happened to book after they made the Chron's Top 25 wineries at the same time we were researching tastings for a girls weekend. We were not disappointed. Going on a weekday meant we basically had the place to ourselves, which is part of what made the tasting experience special. We had excellent attention and information provided by our host, and the $60 tasting was very easily booked on Tock, and included a board of cheese and charcutterie and five pours (although note that your tasting fees do not go towards a bottle, unless you join their wine club for a year, and/or purchase 6 or more bottles of Reeve wine selected from your tasting menu.) Times have changed in Dry Creek, and now I'm willing to pay to taste if the educational experience is excellent, as it was here. The winemaker hailed previously from Banshee, which specializes in coastal pinot known for cherry and soil characteristics. The wine at Reeve (named after the winemaker's son) is served with a board of cheese, pickles and olives which is selected by their in-house chef, and elevates the experience. Our tasting highlighted a crisp, tart Riesling to start, a lot of pinot noir options with fruit sourced from from unique local lots, and ended with balanced reds. Their cozy rustic hacienda feels and is off-the-grid, as its well off the main road and out of cell range, gasp! (Good news however, they do have electricity, backup generators & WiFi.) read more

Word of warning- once you come here and try the wine and pizza, you will likely become a wine club member! We love this winery for an amazing tasting experience in the shaded tree grove, looking out into the vineyards with goats. Just outside of town, but you feel like you are in a whole different world. Not only is the wine fantastic, but the pizza is truly spectacular. They have different seasonal pizzas that they offer as part of the tasting, and you can buy extra if you're still hungry. A lovely tasting experience, highly recommended. Thanks to our server, Michelle. A hidden gem down a long one way lane. Reservations needed but not difficult to get. During the week they serve their guests a nice cheese plate and on the weekends it's their home made pizzas. $50 for their appellation flight (which we all had) and $75 for the vineyard designate wines. We really enjoyed their riesling and a couple of their pinot noirs. A lovely experience for sure! read more

This was such an incredible experience, I can't recommend enough. I had never been to a real vineyard before and this was my first stop in wine country and I was so impressed. My husband immediately knew this was going to be a winner since it was about a half mile drive up from the main street. We made a reservation in advance and when we arrived we were helped by an extremely friendly and kind hostess (Molly, maybe?) When we arrived she gave us a glass each of the rose to try and it was fantastic. As two people who don't typically like rose, it was so delicious and refreshing. We were then seated in Adirondack chairs and each tried one of the wine flights. Our server was so incredibly knowledgeable about each of the wines that we were trying, they were also DELICIOUS. They also give you a tray of goodies to snack on and they too were wonderful. They included fresh roasted almonds and a panna cotta. The day we went was cold and they gave me a blanket to keep warm. It's the small touches like these that really showed their passion to customer service. They also have 3 adorable goats that you are able to interact with right on the property. On the weekend they have a wood fire pizza oven that we missed since we went during the week. While I'm sad to have missed the pizza - I'm so thankful for such a dedicated and in-depth experience. SO happy I found this place and can't wait to return on my next trip or at least ship bottles all the way home. read more

although this property is beautiful and has nice reds in small quantities, we were greeted by a very nice white wine with a not so friendly greeter/host. They have a nice little farm with beautiful buildings and outdoor setting. Although we called ahead and we're told it's kid friendly, they are really accepting of kids but not kid friendly. We were given passive aggressive comments about keeping our kids at the table at all times and overlooked by staff. Felt like we were second class citizens. I found Reeve through a Google search of "best wineries in Healdsburg", and it did not disappoint. We went there on a really warm day, it was 100+ degrees, we decided to skip the tasting and instead enjoy a glass of bubbles. I really however wanted to try their membership, the guy (I forget his name), gave us small pours of their reds - I was sold and signed up to their wine club. I am sure it's not a decision I will regret. Okay I love a good freebie, but when freebies become the best pizza you'll ever eat - it's something else. The pizza, my word, was insanely good. Both my friend and I agreed that it was perhaps some of the best that we have ever eaten. I am excited to be part of the Reeve family and can't wait to visit again! read more

Nestled in the mountains off Dry Creek Road, we have an absolute gem!! Reeve is such a quaint and friendly spot to enjoy delicious wine. And delicious the wine is!! Reeve is an absolute must have when wine tasting in the Healdsburg/Geyserville area. We were lucky enough to come by on a day they were offering complimentary pizza straight out the pizza oven! In a word, this place is magical. Not only is the vineyard gorgeous, but the wines are top notch. Yes, this is one of those places with a $35 tasting price point. But after visiting, you understand what $35 can get you. You drive up a private, tree-lined road next to the vineyard. Then you approach a building surrounded with trees. The space gives just enough light so that the terrace gets ample California sun. There were 6 or 7 tables on the terrace, keeping the intimate and oasis feeling. The two women guiding the tasting were super chill and knowledgable about the wines. They also offered us a little more of any of the wines we liked after the tasting was complete. The tasting includes a small but beautiful charcuterie plate, decorated with pink flowers from the trees nearby. I really liked each of the wines during the tasting, though I wouldn't normally pay $60 or $80/bottle. (The rose was $30/bottle). Nonetheless, they were truly delicious, and I enjoyed them to the last drop. Very memorable experience and a high recommend! read more

After reading all the hype reviews and having had this winery recommended by other wineries I was maybe expecting so much more. It was very average. The views were mediocre for the area. The wine was not to our palate. The pours were very small. I had hoped to try the Riesling (having lived on the Rhein for 3 years) but was "not available for tasting". And our server seemed new. This is a 'touch of a small town in Italy.' You drive up tree lined windy road and then come to a chalet and we were greeted by lovely Noel. She introduced us to her boss and he was friendly too. We played a guessing game with him, and it was fun. Then we sampled the wines which was accompanied by the bites too. The surrounding is quiet and there are these fenced in goats nearby. We found Reeve on a whim. Looking for wineries that were close to the airbnb but still let us get out and explore a bit. Reeve was our first stop of the day and I'll be honest we didn't really have much by way of expectations. Turns out even if we had incredibly high expectations Reeve still would've blown us away. It's nestled up in a hillside off a main road. A slow and windy drive for just a minute or three up a tree-lined road yields views over their acreage with gorgeous sight lines up the hillside as well. The entire setting is just magnificent. After we parked and headed toward the building, we found amazingly friendly staff; jokes and banter upon entry while they let us choose a seat. We picked a couple of Adirondack chairs right at the edge of the tasting area overlooking multiple areas of the vineyard, plus a giant pen with some adorable goats hanging out doing goat things. It was a gorgeous day and we could not have picked a better spot. Their entire outdoor tasting area is just as fabulous, to be honest. Craig was our "server" though really it was more like he was just kind of a buddy who came out to chat and bring us wine. Very knowledgeable, funny and friendly, and a delight to chat with while we sipped wine and learned what was happening at Reeve. He let us know the chef was making some pizza, and we instantly regretted having already eaten breakfast. We dove into the pizza - a white pizza with balsamic, fig, goat cheese (so that's what the goats are up to), arugula - and it was out of this world good. Pizza that good doesn't belong at a winery but...here we are! We cycled through multiple wines, and realized we were in love so we went ahead and joined the wine club. We brought home 4 bottles with us from that day and are eagerly awaiting our next shipment sometime in the spring. Craig was just awesome - took his time with us, let us try some things not on the menu, and even sent us a postcard afterward thanking us for stopping in and joining the club. He even remembered a joke about our names, and which winery we were headed to after we visited them - and this was a month after we went! Just wonderful. Fabulous, fabulous experience. WOW hands down best wine tasting experience I have ever had. John went above and beyond during our tasting. He was friendly and knowledgable about all the wines. He really took his time with the tasting and explaining each of the wines to us. We got to taste several wines which weren't on the tasting menu since he had some open bottles, which was really nice of him! All the wines were fantastic and the grounds were really spacious and beautiful. We also got a delicious complimentary charcuterie plate! I should probably start by acknowledging that I'm not fussy about wine. And in fact, some might say I have terrible taste, as evidenced by the loving side-eye I recently got with my 1p pairing of a tempranillo with a trout salad - I digress - but what I do know is that coming to Reeve is always lovely, regardless of whether you're a budding somm or just looking to perch yourself in a vineyard and forget all that ails you. Most days you'll be welcomed by the head vintners themselves, Kelly and Noah, a dashing, warm couple that seems to truly know something abt crushing grapes together - if they aren't wandering around, Tara or Sam, Reeve's other ethereal and delightful wine connoisseurs will guide you through an unpretentious, relaxing tasting - currently pouring a pinot noir, rose, and a riesling, if memory serves. Bottles are reasonable for what is poured into them - $30-65 - perhaps not a daily wine for some, but not a break the bank sitch for the crew that has typically schlepped to Healdsburg for the day. Vibe is not party-bus-whoops-I-vomited-on-my-bachelorette-sash. More Italian farmhouse has an intimate rendezvous with CA rustic chic. Recently went to one of their farm to table dins, crowd was mostly hip 30 to 50-somethings. Food was divine (hello forbidden rice pudding, I was unaware that I need you, but now I can't forget you), wine was on point, naturally. It's reservation based, so don't forget to plan ahead. Their week days seem to be less busy than the weekend from my experience. The grounds here are very pretty. It's quiet, tucked away and the wine is good. The service is just okay. We were there to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and friends met us there to surprise him (we are all from out of town). It was a special occasion and they definitely didn't help make it special, even though I emailed them a month prior to let them know and make the reservation. Super disappointed by our experience here. This was our third time at Reeve, but first in over a year. Paid over $200 for two tastings- we were asked towards the end of our tasting if we'd like another pour. Of course we said yes! At any other winery in the area, the extra pour is on the house. They charged us over market price for both pours, and we didn't realize until after we ordered a bottle to take home as a gesture of good faith for the extra pours. Won't be back. read more

Since it wasn't a busy weekend, we were able to call day of and getin immediately. Then had placebo ourselves. The tasting room was cozy with heaters and blankets. Wines delicious and they provide small charcuterie board. To me it was really more about the atmosphere. Very relaxing. Well worth the tasting fee and we all purchased some bottles. Started as a small project by passionate people, Reeve Wines, is now finding quite the cult following of wine lovers in Sonoma County and beyond. Owned by husband and wife team Noah and Kelly Dorrance who already had quite the fanbase with Noah as co-founder and head winemaker at Banshee wines and Kelly as the woman behind the launch of the Banshee tasting room and wine club.  A powerhouse Sonoma County pair... these two.  Reeve Wines is named after the couple's young son who happily runs through the vineyards, regularly helping his parents, along with his big sister, Remy. Banshee Wines grew quick and steady with real critical acclaim for the wines being poured. They also grew quite the dedicated group of fans as the wine club grew. Visit soon. I love the style of bottle that these two produce, especially as a team, and have enjoyed many a glass that they have touched with their magic winemaking wands. So so glad we checked this place out!! Out of the 3 wineries we went to, this was THE best. Once we entered, though still welcoming, they had strict safety protocols which we really appreciated and made us feel safe. It was a beautiful (and very hip!) winery. The tables were set up so nicely (the other two wineries we went to were more expensive but didn't have anything set up and their food sucked!). Reeve not only served 6 glasses of wine but also served fresh delicious pizza straight out of the oven as part of the tasting!! The wine was great, and our wine pourer was so nice and informative! This is what we remember about wine tasting and Reeve really had everything down to the tee even if with the safety measures in place. The experience was flawless. Excellent experience at Reeve! Called in for a reservation on a busy Saturday with short notice but they accommodated our party of 3 no problem. The drive to the tasting room takes you up a beautiful vineyard and oak tree lined road for about half a mile. The tasting was seated out on the patio with lots of shade, facing vineyards and a bunch of crazy goats. Very comfortable atmosphere. The wines were great, really tasty pinots and a surprising riesling. Charcuterie plate was a nice touch. All in all I found the staff to be very attentive, friendly and generous. The tasting fee might be on the high side for dry creek but I loved the experience, the wine, the grounds, it's all good here! read more

As someone that works in the industry and loves me some wine - Reeve has it all - location, ambiance, friendly workers, great wine, and good snacks! The people here make you feel VIP and create such an awesome experience. Plus the story of the winemakers is pretty great too.
