Here's the thing: I walked in Francesca's at 10am Black Friday. I was cranky because I had been up since 5 and everywhere else had sucked with their crappy non-sales. I was not expecting to be wowed. Francesca's has always looked hot from the outside and those window displays are to die for. I know I can't afford Southport, but I decided Black Friday might be able to help me out in that area, so I went in as I shopped the corridor. The 40%-off rack was cute but not what I was looking for; however the normal prices didn't look that bad. I was stunned. Cute, quality-looking and inexpensive? I'm still scratching my head. I had my boyfriend with me and didn't want to bug him, so in 5 minutes, I found a great top with built-in scarf (my boss even complimented me today!) for $30. It's warm as hell and lightweight as hell. I am impressed. I wanted to spend less than that, but I am seriously glad I found that top: the last one, and in my size! The storekeeper made me a bit sour because she wouldn't "deal" with me, even on Black Friday, but whatever -- that's my own too bad. They also walked in on me in the fitting room (couldn't you see my feet??) and then asked me if I could leave for a second (topless?) while she removed some clothes from there. I felt this was pretty rude and snotty as per the usual on Southport, and I didn't get any help/attention there in general, which I also thought was strange. Still, I liked the place enough to return soon. Anthropologie, Click and M (or whatever that handbag place is) didn't get one dollar from me (and never have) because they were, and always are, ridiculously priced. Any single thing that costs $200 is not necessary in this or any economy. Francesca's is definitely a place for me. Hoping to upgrade to 4 stars very soon. read more

I received a pair of tights as a gift that were purchased from this store. I tried them on and they didn't fit. I took them back with the gift receipt that was issued for them and was told the store does not accept tights as a return if they are open. I explained that since I got them as a gift logically speaking I would have to open them to know if they fit and that a gift receipt was issued. Her response was well its just a store policy. She couldnt show me where it was posted or even listed on the recept just shrugged her shoulders. If it's a policy it should be posted. Will never shop here, what a terrible attitude and terrible service! read more

Francesca's is where I wander each time I am depressed with the severely inflated prices across the street... Don't get me wrong I LOVE Anthropologie but if its not been marked down twice I simply can't afford it. Enter Francesca's. I have gotten more compliments on my clothes and accessories I have purchased from here than almost anywhere else. They have a wide selection of trendy items at great prices. Over all a perfect spot to score some duds at a great price. read more

The clothes never seem to fit me right, and I feel like I have a pretty standard body type. The accessories are fabulous. All of that being said, the staff at this store is so annoying! Jesus can you pick up on social cues? I don't want to talk to you. If I have to put my headphones on to avoid speaking with the staff, there is a problem. Nice selection of boutique clothes and jewelry. A bit expensive, but they had a BOGO 50% sale so it worked out when I just so happen to walk by. Staff was friendly, perhaps a bit too eager to help out. Felt as though some of the sales associates were forcing conversations with me in order to ensure a purchase (guess that's their job?) But overall, good experience and definitely a much cheaper alternative to the severely overpriced Anthro right down the street. read more

This store had pretty good accessories and clothing items at decent prices. Luckily, I was able to find something for my niece and mother-in-law in the same visit. Unfortunately, I would not return to this particular location because the girls working there were not very helpful and one was fairly rude to me while I was shopping (I believe she was the manager, based on how she was talking to the other girl working with her. Not to mention the fact that the "manager" kept discussing inappropriate things with the sales associate while I, and other customers, were in the store. Overall shopping experience was uncomfortable, however the accessories etc., were affordable and there was something there for women of all ages. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this Francesca's location. My daughter and I were shopping there on a Mother/Daughter shopping day with her sorority. It has a wonderful selection of fun clothing and accessories as well as fun home decor. When I got back to my hotel I realized both my earrings had fallen out of my ears! How crazy is that! But they did and I had no idea of where I might have lost them. So the next day we went back to Francesca's to pick up the items we had purchased but did not want to carry around all day and I asked the salesperson if anyone had turned in some earrings or if they had found any. She said no but took my name and said she would look around some more and call me if anything showed up. Later that day she called me and said she had found one of the earrings. Since my daughter worked nearby, we decided to have my daughter pick it up and send it to me. I knew that where I had bought the pair originally, they could make me another one to match. But the next day my daughter called me and said that Francesca's had called her and that they had found both earrings. How crazy is that! They insisted that they mail them to me so my daughter didn't have to pick them up and take them to the post office. NOW THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I work in retail and I know that a little bit of good customer service goes A LONG WAY!!! I thought it was important to tell my story! So there you have it! I like Francescas, but I've been in here several times and now usually avoid this location because the sales clerks will. not. stop. talking. to. me. How's my day, what did I do, what am I up to this weekend, tell me about your family, what did you eat for breakfast 4 days ago, MY LORD. And I start giving one word answers, and turn away to try to shop, and they follow me and keep trying to make conversation! Maybe some people like this, but my god, please learn to pick up on a very blatant social cue. Like someone else said, they don't give you any room to shop. I do like the stuff, but I only go into this particular location if I'm desperate because it's quite annoying. read more

I have always loved to come shopping here! They have a great selection of Jewelery and accessories. I always leave with at least 3 new pairs of earrings. They are affordable and the staff is very friendly. There is also alot of cute "gift-type" items that are fun to pickup during the holidays. read more
