We are absolutely over the moon with the beautiful work Paul and Jude did to create a memorial frame for my mother to honor my dad, who recently passed. Exceptional customer care, too! Thank you both for your kindness and compassion, as I was a bit emotional when I dropped off the materials. My mom loves her gift. It was ready in just over two weeks. It came in under the price point I needed to stick to as I'm on a budget, so that was awesome. I will definitely return with more frame projects. So grateful! read more

I cannot say enough great things about my experience from start to finish with Frame Warehouse, specifically with Paul and Ava! I went to 3 other frame stores before I found them. I brought in a large textile that I wanted framed and every other store I went to found an obstacle with everything due to the size of the piece. The biggest difference with Frame Warehouse was that they said "yes!" And found ways to make my requests happen, which turned into a piece that is unique and that I truly LOVE! Thank you, Ava, for your knowledge and guidance. Paul went above and beyond from the moment I called him to see if they could work with a piece this size, to the moment it was delivered. Yes, delivered, which we never discussed, but I got a text from Paul saying that they were renting a truck to bring it to me. I didn't even have to ask, they just made it happen at no extra cost to me. I about fell off my chair- the customer service was SO spectacular and is rare these days. All of this to say, I cannot recommend Frame Warehouse enough. I am SO beyond thrilled with my piece, my experience, and with Ava and Paul. Save the time that I spent looking at other stores and go straight to Frame Warehouse. Staff was not nice. Very over priced. Owner was very weird. Cheaper options online and way faster

VERY happy with my 2 pieces. you can get pretty crazy ($$$) with framing, Paul was great about guiding me toward choices that were more in line with my budget, keeping with the ideas I had in mind, without any judgement whatsoever. was a very pleasant experience. and, finished ahead of schedule. highly recommend!!! read more

Their wonderful suggestions led to Wonderfully framed artwork. Friendly, professional service so I will be going back!

I came here to get a framed print re-matted and the person who helped me was so kind and welcoming. Price was quite reasonable and they were able to turn it around in a few hours. I appreciated the care they took to package up artwork and will definitely be back. read more

Was very impressed by the service here. I don't have a car and so Paul worked with me for free delivery after I dropped off my two paintings. He went over options for framing and explained the process as I'm new to all of it. The low end frames were way less costly than I expected and I plan to come here if I do decide to get a frame, but we just did the stretcher bars. The price was great and they were able to stretch both of my paintings within a few days, and deliver right to my door! I was also happily surprised to see the paintings had a wire and nails so the install took about 2 minutes for me. Would highly recommend! read more

Great spot! They have done standard framing jobs for me, and also a few more unique jobs--for example, stretching a vintage canvas to get it framed and repairing a piece that fell off the wall and smashed, damaging the frame and existing mats. Their work is quality and they are a pleasure to work with. read more

We came in to get a novel piece we picked up in Mexico framed. They took the time to listen to our needs, make suggestions, explain their rationale, ask more questions. While we ran out of time on our first visit, we checked out a few more places in town and knew they were going to be our best deal and easiest to work with. Indeed, they made it so easy the second time we came in to make a decision. We were really impressed with their knowledge of all aspects of the framing process, willingness to work with us and ultimately be satisfied with what we picked out. They were great communicators along the way and delivered it this afternoon. We couldn't be happier! read more

I replaced broken glass in cheap frames with 8x10 and 10x10 (already matted) kid pictures. They charged $89. Two pieces of glass just slid into a cheap frame. What am I missing here? I thought it would be $5 to cut a couple pieces of glass. read more

Not impressed! I decided to give my dad a special photo for his birthday. I had a picture with a little poem underneath it that was all on one photo that I wanted to get framed. I went in for a consultation and it seemed to go very well. They were very helpful with helping me decide what would pair well. I chose to get a custom made frame for it that really suited my photo with the poem. When I came to pick it up it was all wrapped up. When I got home to unravel it all... I was appalled. Some of the words from the poem got cut off on a custom made frame to fit everything!!!! The framing job was honestly awful. I cannot believe at what I was given, especially for the money I spent. I had to rip apart the whole thing and insert a completely different photo sans the poem I really wanted to include. So save yourself frustration and money. I was truly expecting better quality for a shop that specializes in framing. read more

Just had two news paper articles from 1952 framed and they did a beautiful job! Super nice people and very good at what they do. I'll be back. read more

I brought in a Turn of the Century Picture with Matting that was warped , and over many weeks , Paul was able to return it to its original flat state...I let him pick out an Original Color Matte to compliment it and he framed it with My Turn of the Century Solid Oak Frame that I brought to compliment it ... It turned out Fantastic ! Very Professional ! Thank You ! read more

Took a decorative mirror there to get fixed and add a border to a picture. The girl who helped us was very friendly and informative. They did a great job fixing the mirror and for a good price. read more

This place has been here for at least a dozen years -- I'm amazed nobody has reviewed it yet. Nestled in the heart of the Harrison Street art district, this is a friendly mom-and-pop framing shop that isn't flashy or snazzy, but it gets the job done. You'll find a nice selection of modern and traditional frames and people who will understand what you want even if you don't speak "frame-ese." read more

We love this place! They do amazing work and are always super helpful at guiding us on which designs to choose. We've come back multiple times. Best place around! read more

Really happy to have found this place. The staff are helpful and really listened to what I wanted. They were willing to work within my budget, and they were super-quick. The store itself is cool, with lots of historic Chicago artwork. Definitely a local business worth supporting. read more

I love this place they do a great job . Their prices are great and they have a student discount. They cut my matte while I waited, they really took the time to make sure it looked good and tell me my options without being a pushy sale person. I go here every time I need a matte. read more

All the staff have been very helpful and creative. The selections and options for framing pictures is great. They also have a great selection of photos from the Columbian Expo of 1893. Been going there for last 8 years and find them very consistent. David M read more

Friendly staff. Framing was done faster than expected. I have worked in the Art Framing business for years. Their work is professional and done correctly. Yes prices are high but you'd have to go further from the city to find a better price. I found it odd they only carried Larson Juhl product line because I feel they are not offering as many choices as they could. read more

Excellent customer service and great work! They stayed well within my budget and helped me create beautiful art. The staff is very artistic and has great suggestions. I had gone into Michael's with a 70% off coupon and the picture would have cost me more there and the staff was horrible to deal with. I also stopped in at the frame shop on Chicago Ave. first and they quoted me almost $70 more for the same thing. Support this local business they are awesome!! read more

This is a few doors down from where we live. Had a print for over 5 years and wasn't sure if it was going to be framed or not. Walked into Frame Warehouse and got great service. Also was given great choices that made sense with the print. Even discussed a glass versus plexiglass because it was going to be shipped. Took 2 weeks to get done. The end result was FANTASTIC!!! It truly is now a piece of artwork. Will recommend this place to others and will return with other pieces in the future. Thanks for a job well done! read more

The customer service was fantastic from the very beginning to the end. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and staying in my budget. The product was above and beyond what I paid for. I will definitely use them again. read more

We've been using the Frame Warehouse forever (my husband has probably been taking things there since it opened) and we are always pleased with the results - excellent advice on framing and matting choices, terrific workmanship, prompt service. They have framed everything from expensive original art to cheap posters and family photos. But this year we discovered their wizardry at "restoring" old photos. "Restoring" in quotes, because we brought in a 75 year old photo taken at a huge family banquet that had been stored rolled up. The emulsion was cracked, the 12" x 18" photo could not be unrolled safely without further damage. Somehow, they managed to get it flat, and made a perfect digital copy. It is gorgeous, and crystal clear so that my husband and his cousins spent a happy afternoon identifying 100 near and distant relatives - and now the cousins want copies too. Not cheap, but this was definitely worth it! read more

This frame shop did an incredible job with an antique tapestry for me. Gorgeous, quality work - The staff took time and care helping me to select the framing - friendly, helpful & knowledgable. Highly professional AND they helped me transport it due to the size. A++++++!!! read more

The staff is friendly, personable, and skilled at pointing out why a frame does or does not work. Their price point is quite competitive and the frame selection is good. We recently had a large, truly oversized oil painting framed and they did a fantastic job as well as doing the same for some smaller paintings. They had suggestions for framing and glass to use if you plan to hang a picture in a humid area like a shower location vs a living room which I would never have known otherwise. read more

Went into Frame Warehouse with an antique print with no idea what to do with it so it would look good in a frame and in my house. The gal there did a fantastic job at picking unique frames that went perfectly with the print. Then i was spoiled for choice with all of the options, but we narrowed it down to one with a beautiful matt and it all went together so well. Then I picked up the framed print a couple weeks later and I can say that I have never seen a frame or print like it! It is beautiful. read more
