Seth did a great job with helping me pick out the right frame and matting for a unique print. Custom framing is not cheap, but he worked hard to find me something affordable and that still looked great. I was incredibly happy with the result! Will definitely be a return customer for my custom-framing needs. read more

Mr Min is a true professional and will make sure you're happy with your piece. My husband dropped off my artwork and when I picked it up, it wasnt bad but Mr Min could sense I wasnt completely happy with the background and frame. Mr Min was very helpful and worked with me about other options to enhance the artwork. He did beyond amazing job, and didn't charge a penny for all the extra work he did. Highly recommend and thanks again Mr Min!! read more

The owner was so nice at Frame Express ! I needed something done quick and he was able to do it for me on the spot. Very professional and loved the candy dish read more

Framexpress is a professional frame shop, I am an artist, I always looking for a good deals and professionally done and the people that work there is easy to work with and professional level, and they also are so helpful even though I live in San Francisco, they always accommodate my framing and prices and also they willing to ship my work to my customers. I highly recommend this place for any work that you need. read more

I just had an oil copy of a Renaissance painting stretched and framed here. Most excellent in every way! The price was surprisingly reasonable, and the piece looks like it came out of the museum where the piece hangs. Highly recommended. (The painting was "The Goldfinch.) Thank you so much. read more

I went to FrameExpress to get an original charcoal drawing framed and to get something rather silly framed for my kitchen. I have had other things professionally framed in the past and Mr. Min's establishment is not "pricey" for what you get. The UV protective glass doesn't cost more here, as it does at some other places. He does not try to upsell you to the most expensive framing materials. He was very professional and very easy to deal with. After I came to a decision on the charcoal drawing, I asked about the yelp discount, which he applied without blinking, or even seeing my phone for that matter. The price was very reasonable for what I expect to get. The kitchy kitchen art he said would do for a really low price, that made me want to do that now. He said it would take a week. I told him that I would be leaving town a week from today and he promised this would be done before I left. I was very pleased with the transaction. I will edit this review once I receive my framed items. But so far, I think FrameExpress is a great little store and Min is a good man. read more

In my view, there is only one place to frame items that really matter, and that is Framexpress in Long Beach. I have used them for pictures that meant the world to me and they have framed them as such. My last two frames were in honor of Long Beach brothers and I asked Min to do as he saw fit and the result pretty much took my breath away. Based on who these brothers were, they represent the best we have, and the framing made the representations museum pieces. The thought and care that went into the work spoke directly to who they were. As always, thank you, Frameexpress team. read more

Excellent job! Amazing quality and attention to detail. Went above and beyond the price paid to provide a very exceptional product. Would recommend to anyone looking to have anything framed. Thank you Frame Express! read more

Framexpress is a top notch artist's shop. After talking to Mr. Min, he is also an artist, therefore, he treated our painting or art as his. All our frames are done with Mr. Min, we are so please with his work and he is the only artist that touch our memorial biliary. I don't leave in Long Beach, but I rather have a professional artist than to 100 stores in Washington DC. Thanks to Mr. Min, we really like his work. read more

Hello, my name is John. I had been looking for some nice frames for an artwork that i had ascertained. After all this time i found what i was looking for at Frame Express. Great service! AMAZING SERVICE! I drove all the way from Hollywood and they helped me out right away. Friendly and attentive. I needed my canvas stretched with urgency and they did it the SAME day within an hour and not to mention the Yelp deal was SUCH A STEAL! Highly reccomend!! read more

This place is the bomb!! I needed a limited edition signed print framed so I shopped around first. I looked on yelp and narrowed it down to 3 places. When I got here, Min gave me a deal that was comparable to what I could get at the other shops. The bonus was that this shop was able to frame my print the same day. Plus I like the fact that the shop looks so nice and organized. They even have software to figure out your estimate. Pretty high-tech for a frame shop! When I came back to get my framed print, I was so impressed at how good it looked. They did an excellent job! Everyone that works here are so nice and friendly too. I will definitely come back when I need a print framed in the future. read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, I couldn't resist taking my new canvas to be framed at Mr. Min's place. He was very friendly, helpful and honored my Yelp deal on the spot. Why four stars instead of five then? 1. Despite my 100$ credit, I still ended up paying over 200.00 to frame my print. Granted, it looks great, and he threw in an extra layer of matte for free, but considering what other people said, I was thinking I'd get a bit more of a deal. 2. He forgot to call me to pick up the print. I know he's busy, which is a great sign, but I'd left it with him for a week, so I was anxious to see the final product. In any case, I'd definitely return here. He seems willing to work with the budget of the buyer. read more

The quality of the framing was excellent, but the prices are pretty steep. This was my first time here. I had a small photograph framed and matted and the price was $85. If you don't need a custom sized frame and mat, there are less expensive options. read more

I was so excited when I came across Framexpresses Yelp deal. I immediately bought it up & headed out to redeem it. Their store is in my neighborhood of Belmont Heights, which was convenient plus I love supporting local businesses. The fellow that helped me was super friendly, informative & generally interested in making my experience worthwhile! Before I even received my product I was impressed! They quoted me a week turnaround & they finished early. My piece came out perfect! I'm one happy customer. read more

Came here, used the Yelp discount/coupon, which still was a little pricey (I paid roughly $275 instead of $450 to have three prints mounted and framed), but he did an excellent job and they look great. I also explained my situation (I was under a bit of a deadline) and he said he'd handle it as quick as possible and it was barely over 24 hours later when he called me and said I could come pick them up. There is a HUGE selection of frames there too. I'd recommend this place for sure. read more

My boyfriend is a very difficult person to shop for. I finally decided to frame a panoramic that he has had for a while. Recently, the photo got a little banged up in a move. Nothing major, but folded a little, so there were visible creases. I took the photo on a Wednesday. Meanowuth helped me out. Budget was a huge consideration for me. He worked with me at length to get a nice product within my budget. I picked it up on Tuesday (less than a week later). It is fantastic. My boyfriend loves it and is so exciting that you can no longer see the creases. I recommend this place completely and will definitely come back with all of my framing needs. read more

Let's face it...framing is expensive. So You really have to want it if you're going to do it. I bought a deal here. They definitely give you special attention and I can tell that they are good at what they do, it is just a bit expensive. However, I got a few work things framed here and the quality was superb. read more

I had an all around great experience here. I wasn't sure what type of frame I wanted, they had a great selection and helped me with some suggestions I hadn't considered. Price and turnaround time were both reasonable. I will definitely go back next time. read more

What a great experience! They were very patient in helping me get the look I wanted in the price range I wanted. They have a great variety of frames & mats. The final product what beyond what I expected. I have had non-stop compliments on it. I will 100% use them for any future framing! read more

This is a great place to get your frame and photo work done. I have had a whole lot of my photos done here. Some of them are very old and one of a kind. They do a great job and I would trust them with any thing. Very friend staff that knows what they are doing. The final products went beyond what I expected. I'm very pleased. I will 100% use them for any future framing! read more

I highly recommend Framexpress for your framing needs. The quality of the three items I had framed was top-notch; but I was especially impressed with how quickly the items were ready. Very professional and courteous service as well. read more

Frame Express has boxes of amazing old Long Beach pictures! The prices were great and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Great place to get a picture framed. They also have a lot of historic Long Beach photos to chose from. Great customer service!!

I went there earlier today to get some last minute mats cut, they were both done within about 15 minutes :) Easy and hassle free!

This place is the best! I have been shopping around to find a good price on some custom framing and was beginning to lose hope because EVERYWHERE I looked was way out of my price range. When I first walked into Framexpress with this conundrum, Min (the owner I'm assuming) helped me figure out several different options but I was unable to get anything down to the price I was looking for. This is the point when most stores would have just said sorry and let me walk out the door but Min continued to brainstorm with me and work out a few discounts and eventually we agreed on a price. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but far lower than any other place (I'm looking at you Michaels) was willing to go to help me. I picked up the item today and it looks beautiful. As a very thoughtful surprise, Min even upgraded me to a much nicer frame than we had agreed upon (it was a frame I wanted in the first place but couldn't afford). He told me it was a surprise because he knew I wanted it and offered it as a sort of Christmas gift. This place understands the value of customer service and customer retention. Because Min provided me with such great service and was willing to bend on the price in order to accommodate my needs, he has made a customer for life (or as long as I live in Long Beach at least). I will also recommend this place to any friends of mine who are looking for quality framing. THANKS SO MUCH! read more

Framexpress is a one-stop shop for me. I've been going there for years. This place has everything you need; Whether you want high-end frames or simple affordable frames they have them all. I am 100% satisfy with the quality work they did for me. I will continue going to them for more frames. Thank you Framexpress! read more

Came to Framexpress based on Yelp reviews and their Yelp deal, and I couldn't be happier! I had two photographs framed for my partner's birthday, and finally got my three degrees framed. Min helped me select frames and mats for them, and he gave me the Yelp deal for all five frames, even though I hadn't actually purchased the deals on Yelp! In other words, I ended up getting $250 off the total! Yes, it was still pricey, but framing is pricey everywhere, and the quality of the work is first rate. I will certainly return for my future framing needs. read more

High quality work, friendly and quick service. Worked with me to find options that were within my budget and even provided a discount to the ones we picked to make it work. Very happy with the final results (got 4 prints framed total in wooden frames). read more

Just picked up a photo I had framed. As he unwrapped the frame and flipped it over I was extremely happy! It made me light up. They have a great selection of frames and matte's to choose from. As far as price I did pay a little extra but for quality I have NO complaints. I will easily have them frame other pieces of art or photos for me. VERY satisfied! Thank you Frame express! read more

Great place for custom frames. Min was very friendly and knowledgeable. He worked with me to design the right frame at the right price. I look forward to getting the final product back. read more

Great service, wonderful selections to choose from. Look forward to the final project.

Very nice people and excellent work! They were very helpful in choosing a frame and matting and I'm happy with the finished product. Will be back anytime I need something framed. Glad to have small local businesses in Long Beach because it offers a personal touch. read more

I went in there with three vouchers to get three pieces framed. Two were posters so they were just framed, one was an art piece so it was framed and double matted. I kind of knew what I wanted but Mr. Min took his time to suggest certain styles and colors. Based on other places I've had pieces framed in the past I found the prices right in line. My bill was about $500.00 which is after the $300.00 off from the vouchers. Yeah I know I paid $120.00 for the vouchers so basically I saved $180. And the frame for the art piece was not one of their in-stock frames covered by the voucher but he gave me discount anyway. I will go there again. read more

One of the best framers I've ever used. Prices for custom work are in line with Aaron Brothers et al but you get the advantage of true custom work done by a professional. Great variety of frames, mats, etc. They are very good about working with you and especially on repairs. I broke a frame and tore an old poster with great sentimental value. They did an almost-exact recreation of the frame and repaired the poster to nearly-original condition. I'm very pleased. read more

I'd seen Frame Express on 7th, but never used them, but when I had a yelp coupon decided to try them out with two original and very different watercolors that I wanted to frame. The staff was so helpful and patient. They understood what I was looking for, even though I was having a hard time describing it and never once did I feel they felt I was taking too much time to decide. The prices are totally reasonable, the turn around time good, and the selection is far, far better than Michael's or Aaron Brothers. I will return to Frame Express literally with anything I need framed. read more

So far, so good. This review is for the initial consultation with Min only. I walked in, with no appointment, on a busy Saturday. Min greeted me while he was finishing up with another customer. He offered me water while I waited. Nice touch! It ended up being about 20 minutes before he got to me, but it was a pleasant wait. Min included me in the interaction with other customers, where appropriate. Then it was my turn. Min rolled out my canvas, made quick recommendations, quoted the work, honored my $50 Yelp deal, gave me an estimated date for pick up, and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Although Min was great at multi-tasking during this busy time, I would recommend going in during the week if you require time and suggestions/recommendations for your framing. The shop is small with space to service only one customer consultation at a time. read more
