I came by a few hours after my flight back to LA from London with a gorgeous vintage Tube map that was .8 of an inch too large for my 11x14 frame, I called and asked if it'd be possible to have it trimmed down and was told that they could and was quoted $20 on the phone; when I stopped by I believe the owner greeted me and took care of it in a few minutes, when I asked to pay, she said not to worry and that she'd hoped I'd stop by in the future - which I absolutely will! I normally don't write reviews but I went here to get a custom frame made for a limited edition poster that I received for Christmas. Sam was incredibly helpful in helping me flesh out my idea and really making it pop. I wanted a simple matte frame with a border but he made a good point in getting the UV glass and spacers to protect it and now that I actually have it hanging I'm glad I didn't decide to skimp on it. I had checked around for prices in advance because custom framing is never cheap and Sam gave me a good deal on what I was looking for. Originally I was told it was going to take 2-3 weeks as they had received quite a few orders over the holidays but they managed to get everything done a week and a half early so that was awesome. After dealing with Aaron Brothers for the last few framings (they do a great job, but are very expensive), I came to Frame 2000 because it was near my office. I must admit, she did just as good of a job as I have seen, and for less money. The selection was excellent, and she delivered the final framed art exactly when she said she would. Please don't confuse this place with Frame 2000 Venice. I'd prefer to give this place negative stars, but Yelp won't allow it. The woman who runs the shop is a complete liar and will do anything she can to take business away from the other Frame 2000 (Venice) including taking credit for the work the Venice shop does.
