Couldn't have been more wrong. Great bartender, Bridget. I ordered a Scotch Ale. She asked if I would like a shot of Vanilla Vodka in it. Never heard of that before. It really perked up the ale. Ordered the In & Haute Burger it was great; Apple Bread Pudding with Caramel-Whiskey Sauce. It came in small cast iron skillet which kept it hot through the entire time I was eating it. It was cooked perfectly, almost burnt, but not quite, crispy char on outside warm moist and fluffy on inside. Customers at the bar and servers walking by were all friendly and welcoming.

My husband had the elk bolognese. The pasta was definitely made in house, just delightful. The sauce was rich and savory. Lastly we shared the bread pudding which we highly recommend. It was amazing! Must try: Baseball Cut Top Sirloin, Bison Chili, and Bread Pudding!…read more Why: Baseball Cut Top Sirloin was buttery and slightly salty peppery. It was cooked medium rare just like I asked and juicy tender slices. We came around 4:15pm and was still able to order from lunch menu so I thought it was a great deal to get Executive Lunch with Baseball Cut Top Sirloin 6 oz, Loaded Baked Potato, and Bison Chili for under $25. I also loved the Bison Chili - flavorful with a kick of spice. My dad also got the top sirloin and we both loved it. He got his with a salad and fries - the fries were great with crispy edges. My mom got the famous ribs, but we were underwhelmed as it was a bit dry. I washed down my meal with a refreshing Huckleberry Mojito. We also ended with Bread Pudding, which had chocolate in it and we added a side of vanilla ice cream - seriously amazing dessert! My mom and I have a sweet tooth and this was melt in your mouth goodness. Notes: We were running late for our reservation so we called and Brad was friendly and told us not to worry. It was an easy drive with plenty of parking. It got busy around 5:30pm so we got in before the dinner crowd. They have plenty of tables for small and large parties. They also have a bar area. I enjoyed the crayons and the child in me tried to draw a bison. Rob was our waiter and he was also awesome. I was impressed he drew his name with crayon upside-down in perfect cursive! He was welcoming, attentive, and helpful with great recommendations like the Bison Chili and Bread Pudding. Overall, he had a great dining experience for our only dinner in Sheridan as we were passing through to Yellowstone. We left incredibly full and satisfied!
