Very unprofessional...Owner showed up for appt an hour and 15 min late...says disparaging remarks to clients

My initial reaction to my lashes is that they look ok. I waited to the last minute to try to schedule an appointment within 1 week so obviously all of the Yelp 4.5/5 stars are already booked a month out or just don't bother to call the customer back. Alas, I found 2 star Fracassi's that could take me the next day. I was sceptical because of the reviews, ratings, and lack of photos but desperate times call for desperate measures. VENUE: -Fracassi's is located inside the Walden Galleria Mall. My GPS took me to the exact place I needed to park which is by the mall entrance between Lord&Taylor and Macy's. Just walk to the main stretch and Fracassi's will be on your right. If you are a Yelper who like a quiet private room then this is not your scene. The tables are out in the open like a nail salon with windows for walls. The beds/tables are lined with plastic and sanitation paper was not used. I assume[hope] the employees spray it down with sanitizing spray before the next customer uses it. There were some visible black scuffs from who knows what product staining the plastic which detracts from the lovely aesthetics of the room. LASH TECHNICIAN: - my tech was pretty friendly and very accommodating. He had to stand up for my appointment because I was 9 months pregnant at the time and couldn't lay on my back like normal. THE LASHES: - I saw an ad on Groupon for mink lashes however the actual lashes were stiff plastic, not even synthetic mink which was disappointing but like I said I scheduled last minute. On a more positive note the lashes did not fall off until my actual lashes did. CONCLUSION: - if you're in a time crunch this place can provide last minute appointments but I wouldn't expect the same results as you would a better rated salon. read more

The lashes are nice and person applying them was friendly and pleasant. My problem was they offered an AMAZING DEAL on Groupon, but will inconvenience you so they don't have to honor it. I called for an appointment prior to purchasing the Groupon. I arrive at my appointment, no one else is waiting, and I explain I have a Groupon. The technician tell me "...for people with Groupons we are scheduling 3 mos out..." I needed them done for the weekend. They wouldn't take the Groupon, I had to pay full price. A walk-in comes in after me and pays full price and gets her lashes done. They use Groupon as a scam to get you there and inconvenience you to pay full price. Desperate and shady. Coming out of Macy's ground floor exit I saw this place. Not sure but think they may be on the newer side. They do eyebrow waxing and coloring. All sorts of lash extensions and coloring too. Looked like they do makeup as well. Clean. Well lit. Open. Reasonable pricing. Music way too loud. read more

I'll never come back here ever again! I been trying to stick with them despite the fact I come every damn week because of the cheap ass glue! But I was told to come back because they'll be getting new glue only to waste my time n come back n the lady tell me the other lady quit and that she has an appointment at 1030 but it's only 10 n she couldn't do my extensions but on many occasions I waited more than an hour after my appointment time! I had the unfortunate experience of being employed here for two long stressful years and let me tell you it's January,22 ,2023 an I still haven't received my last paycheck or my check from the week I was fired(October,5,2022) . On top of that The owner Felicia Garries had caused me to miss out on my pay she also told customers I stole mon from her(very untrue and unprofessional) and went so far as to argue on my goods review.... I'm not at all impressed for $150 I asked the girl doing my lashes if they had a special going on on Groupon because I overheard another client say something about Groupon, and she tell me "I don't know" like you work here but you don't know?? OKAY!!! MAKES PERFECT SENSE!! I paid for volume and 100% did not get volume, didn't she me pictures or anything of different lengths and kinds of lashes. she just got up in the middle of my service didn't say a word, had a cold ass fan blowing on my face for an hour straight. Was not conversational at all. Just a mess a disaster. I would never go back here. I get my lashes typically done for $80 $35 fill and they look 10× better then what this place did for $150 +$20 tip. After speaking to Latina, the Manager of Fricassi, she told me to come back when she or Chelsea were available. I went back and Chelsea is both beautiful and wonderful. She took off the original lashes and applied the new lashes. Medium length and no charge for the same type. A little extra if I chose the next grade up. I am a licensed cosmetologist that does eyelashes, obviously I can't do my own so I needed a good place to get them done here, since they have recently relocated from CA. First off, I bought a Groupon. When I called to redeem it, I was told that there was a 3 month wait, BUT do not worry... if I cancelled it, they would extend the same price to me and get me in immediately. When I arrived, there was no one at the front so I sat in the reception area. There were 4 children running around like crazy, jumping on and off furniture. I saw two woman getting their lashes done, but only one esthetician. I waited for 15 minutes and asked another woman, who was also waiting for her lashes. She told me that, that was the owner working, she does real good work. She had walked in and the owner told her that she could be seen at 6:00 when I had my appointment. So at this point,it's 6:30, my appointments at 6:00, there's one woman doing two peoples lashes, and two of us waiting in utter chaos. I went to grab a water. Then I see the $1.00 sign, and her kids try to collect. I walked out. I'm sorry, even if my lashes were free, I would not trust this woman with sharp tweezers over my eyes. This place is insane, she needs to move her operation back into her living room, and quit abusing Groupon. She is a hustler and State Board will be paying her a visit soon. read more

Terrible experience. Spent several hundred dollars there and then an untrained novice stabs me in the eye one morning, causing my eyes to water profusely. All the glue/lashes came off as soon as I got home. I tried to contact management four separate times; they never pick up the phone. I tried emailing; no response. Also their technique is not really an eyelash extension. They just glue several lashes at a time in clumps to your eyelid which will definitely cause you to lose your natural lashes. It has taken me weeks to finally recover my natural lashes. I will never go back here. I would rather pay double and not suffer an eye injury from these untrained (and unapologetic) people. read more

I found this place originally because I needed a fill. The girl I've been using was great! She did a full set and fills on me and I've never had an issue! I give her 5 stars (satira? I'm bad with names) Haven't been in like a month and Last week I came for a full new set and got "volume lashes" It was a different girl but I figured, it'd be fine. I've had volume before... and these were nothing close! The edges of my eyes weren't even done. I was hoping they'd be filled more for the money I spent. They're was no building or layering done for volume. Soo I'm not sure why the last 8-12 full grown lashes on my lash line weren't even done. I had to request to come back a day later because at least 6 came off and there were "holes" I'm never been a "karen" and I hate to complain, soo I felt bad for asking ...but also... I just spent a lot of money! I shouldn't have to pay for a fill a week in because of a shotty job! (It wasn't natural eyelash shedding either... they were just the extensions) Might not have been as noticeable if they were as layed and full. (I got a line of fans for this price) Even after my touch up, I still lost a handful again next day :,( It's not my first rodeo. I know not to get wet for 24 hours, I didn't do any crazy Eye makeup or removers. I literally worked the next 2 days and that was it. At 4 days in... they looking wonkie and how they'd look at 3 weeks! I don't know if it's different glue or the girls just give different quality but For almost $200 I don't expect my eyes to look half empty before a week! WORST experience EVER. After being told on my first visit that my groupon "wasn't valid until the next weekend", I returned for the 2nd time. I was left waiting for 25 minutes after my appointment while she took other walk-in customers ahead of me. Again, as I'm lying on the table waiting for lash extensions, she then tells me that they are not honoring the groupon "at this time". It was 8:20 and the lady in there closed the gate and was talking on the phone... we waited for her to get off of the phone with hope that she would the gate and answer our questions since the sign said that they were opened until 9:30 PM. A couple weeks ago I came across this place and got information regarding eyelash lift as well as before and after pictures and decided to drop $150 so my lashes could look just as good as the ones on the pics.....oh boy was I wrong came out of there with my lashes looking the same way!!!! I was extremely disappointed and decided to wait out since the "technician" said that after a few hours they would look better!!! After waiting patiently for a week to see results that never came, I went back again to have my money back or fixed he refused to give me my refund and decided to fix them for me....which was another waste of time because it made no difference. What a disaster. tinted brows turned out to "Not Take" and the employee did it 2x and then it looked like Herman Monster. The ppl in the shop stared and left. I could not believe a simple tinting of the brows turned out to be a disaster . The clinician ... tried to take it off ....took it off without the proper fluid and created a big scar.. She called the owner for advice and was told to charge me for a wax instead. I don't think i should have been charged for ANYTHING.. The owner failed to take responsibility for leaving the new employee alone w/o a plan B if the treatment fails, or even the proper tool to address the issue. On top of that, she was only trained for 2 days and set upon cusomters.Ths is irresponsible and completely unacceptable. I predict that she will be sued if this continues. read more

Would NOT recommend. Got the million dollar lash thought thinking they were eyelash extensions but they were only fake lashes that I was told I could wear for two weeks. So i figured I'd try it. Terrible idea. That sure didn't happen. I got home and ripped they off the next morning due to the fact that my eyes were irritated and more goopy than normal. I love it here!! I go to Fracassi to get my eyebrows done! I get an eyebrow tint which includes a wax and making them a shade darker. It only costs $25 which is such a good price because at other places sometimes just a wax costs that much!! Totally recommend! read more

This place is amazing, it's located conveniently in the mall so if there is a small wait you can go and shop and come back! They get very busy because they are popular but they still manage to take care of everyone and make sure everyone is happy! I get my lashes done here and the million dollar lash is amazing! So full and beautiful! The staff is wonderful, they make sure you're comfortable and happy with the results each and every time, and the prices are just amazing compared to other places. Freind recommened this place, so thought I would give it a try. Place is small, cluttered and unkept. Furniture stained , old , looks like it came out of a 20 yr garage storage. My appt was sched for 10:30 only 1 person was working, and one patron currently getting her eye lashes placed. The wait was 1 hr and 20 min. I was apprenhensive and never would have stayed r/t condition of "salon", but since a friend goes her frequently decided to stay. Prior to my lashes being applied had to ask the employee to wash her hands, started prepping without doing so. Noted she didn't wash them after last patron either. Once completed eye lashes were uneven and did not match one another on my eyes. I was upset, however paid for them and promptly went home and removed them. Fracassi Lashes has a nice atmosphere but the lashes feel like cardboard and the staff are not well trained. I bought a membership and they would not refund after my dislike for their product. Not to sure how they can continue to run a disorganized business with short staff. My membership says that I can make an appointment but when I showed up, due to their short staff, my appointment was not honored and I still had to wait almost an hour. Certainly not worth the money. Seemed like a good deal until I got home and most of the extensions were in my sink at the end of the night. I had a wedding the next day so it was very frustrating. Then within days I lost about 75% of my real eyelashes. I tried to call and speak with someone MANY times. Nobody would give me a corporate number. The number they gave me was a voice mail that was no longer "accepting messages." I tried again by calling the store at the Galleria Mall and the person in charge named Denise was extremely rude and condescending. She called me a liar. I have pictures of before and after!! I am now forced to wear glue on eyelashes every day until my lashes grow back in. Horrible horrible horrible!!! Do not go there !!!! SHADY BUSINESS. This was my second time here. The first time was for a facial which was great. The second time was for eyelash extensions...not so great. They will only do them if there is THREE people working. One to actually do the extensions and TWO to man the desk. Are you serious?!? They wanted me to wait THREE week to get them done. How do you conduct and REFUSE business no less? I tried the dash lash and an alternative. WORST idea ever. The glue them on with what seems as Hair extension glue. The shadow I got used to however waking up in the morning and having to literally peel my eyes open, no thank you I ripped those babies off after two days, so not worth it. They cheated me out of $150 I went in there to get what was supposed to be "mink lashes" however they started falling off within 3-4days so they were fake when they fell off they looked like individuals instead of mink lashes.... I went here for the first time with my friend to get their dash lashes and we had an overall good experience. The lady working was super sweet, lashes were quick to have put on, and the price was pretty affordable compared to other places near me. The only thing was we were told there would only be a 20-minute wait and we ended up waiting an hour for something that took 5 minutes. But, the lady working was by herself and I think something came up that threw her off on time, so it wasn't her fault, we still received great service. The only other thing was the waiting area was kind of dirty, but the areas where lashes and brows were done were clean, the lady's hands were clean and she wore gloves, and nothing about the lash gluing itself was unsanitary. I would definitely recommend this place, just be prepared to wait in case there's only one lady working or something random throws off the timing. read more
