It seemed like a one off hectic day for her, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She has wonderful feedback otherwise. I had no idea Stacie was here, located in a space called the Beauty Box New York, which houses several beauty and wellness businesses. The space is newly renovated and decorated very nicely! Definitely a cool and fun place to come and relax while splurging on yourself a little! I had always been curious about semi permanent makeup but didn't know if I was brave enough and was scared of poor results. When I saw my friend share her photo post powder brow treatment I decided it was time to give it a try. Powder brows aren't as heavy as a traditional tattoo and offer a much more natural, yet made up looking effect. I have patchy brows and my oily skin doesn't let me apply makeup the way I want, especially on the brow tails. I spent so much time working on them everyday for them to just rub off. I reached out for some info and was pleasantly surprised to hear back from Stacie very quickly. Stacie is both owner of the Beauty Box and Brows by Stacie. Stacie was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I felt very comfortable once we spoke and she didn't pressure me or rush me through my inquiries. I made an appointment and she went through all the pre procedure tips. The procedure itself wasn't too painful. It took about 2 hours and the tattoo portion was very short. Stacie looks at how you usually do your makeup and will map out your brows first. You get to check them and make adjustments as needed then comes the tattoo part. There was some peeling for 2 weeks which she warned me about it in my opinion was well worth it. Stacie was very professional and took her time. I am thrilled with my results. She carefully explained the after care and what to expect. My brows are gorgeous and I don't have to do much in the morning. They healed perfectly and I wake up with a natural looking brow. I am not sure why I didn't come sooner, this is a life changing service. The first appointment comes with a touch up appointment a few weeks later. Now Groupon said it shows redeemed and provider said they never got payment. I am seeking a refund through Groupon and with this provider but let this be a cautionary note. I would not use this provider s what they did feels like fraud. I have logged complaints with BBB and Groupon and will be contacting the NY attorney general office to file a formal complaint. Go someplace that is a reputable service provider and steer clear of this one. They still are selling services through Groupon so watch out!

I will post the photos of the very unprofessional response she left to my review and the appt confirmation I saw the reviews and gave this place a go, but I regret it. I had a bad experience and will NOT come back! There were people (her coworkers) walking in and out of the room during my appt, which was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. She didn't ask me if it was okay or anything. I got a fibroblast done here with the owner, Maya, where I got permanent hypopigmentation spots on my face and dark burn marks from the pen she used. There are spots that are whiter or lighter than my skin, which means that my skin is depigmented and hypopigmented. She doesn't seem very skilled or knowledgeable with this treatment, so I don't recommend it here at all, even if it's cheaper than other places. Go to a professional like an NP or dermatologist for this treatment, or just don't do it at all. It just made my skin way worse. Now I have to spend so much money fixing this problem that may never leave It has caused me distress over my appearance since my skin got worse than when I came in and there's nothing that can fix it. When I left my review on Google, she told me that I had the wrong place. I've never been to her spa and to delete my review. When I updated it, she gave a very unprofessional response and said I'm not a real client. When people have a bad first experience somewhere, they don't feel comfortable returning, which is how I felt. I didn't feel comfortable reaching out or saying anything because of the way my appt was and the way I felt, and I didn't want to come back. And her reply definitely made me not want to reach out or disclose myself to her. Possibly fixing this issue I got from the fibroblast is something that is advanced and is best done by a health provider like a dermatologist, which is a fact I shared my personal experience and regret that I went here. I'm posting this again for other people to see that I personally don't recommend getting the fibroblast done here. The other treatments are probably fine, but fibroblast should be done by someone with nurse/doctor. Edit: the owner replied once again claiming I'm not a client and said I signed a consent form. This treatment was recommended by her and she reassured me it would work well with my skin and the reason my skin COMPLETELY dipigmented is because of her holding the pen in place too long and over and over in the same spot and constantly rubbing it afterwords with a qtip until it bled even though I told her to leave it so it's clearly due to her negligence and a lack of knowledge/skill issue because of the way in which she used it. Just the way she responds to her negative reviews speaks volumes on how she handles criticism. Any negative review is apparently not possible and everyone is a competitor. The way she responds makes you not even want to reach out. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend at all.

I found Bare by Bree on Yelp and I can't say enough how I am over the moon. I will look no further. :) I am not the thinnest I've ever been and was concerned. Bree is kind and professional and I could not have had a better experience. She is friendly and conversational and, like any girl's girl worth her salt would do, reminded me that women are not all what we see on tv and that there would be no need to worry. What a relief - you are self-conscious to begin with and that left immediately with her down-to-earth professionalism and friendliness. I was hoping this wax would not be painful compared to sugaring, which is what I was used to. To anyone with concerns- whether it was Bree's skill or the product she used, it felt no different than sugaring and was not anything more than a small discomfort that immediately passed as you would expect from any service like this. I had not one concern or area in need of extra attention, and at my first appointment I received a small goody bag of after-care products. Her prices are very reasonable and her skill is excellent. She has appointments throughout the day, making scheduling around work a breeze & she is located within a salon. Her room is bright, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. If you are reading reviews because you need help finding someone for waxing or lashes, please trust me and book with Bree. She is excellent.
