If you want to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on misprinted, non-refundable postage, these are your guys. Update: I've decided to return my machine early. They want to cover the machine for $2-3000 insurance when shipped. The machine is probably worth couple hundred. I've decided to get the insurance anyways just bc I know they a shady company and will probably report damage just to collect on the insurance. It costs me more to send these machines back. More to buy ink for these new machines. I rather stamp my own envelopes which is about 100 pieces of mail a day than deal with these guys. These people are seriously a piece of work and I've had many others contact me expressing mutual feelings. Don't deal with this company. There is too many other companies that are mediocre to deal with this atrocity. ------------------------------------------------- Worst customer service ever. Their contracts are very shady and lock you into automatic one year renewals. They are very deceitful and I would never work with another company that relies on shady contracts to keep their customer base. Their machines are slow and the ink is expensive. It's much faster just putting stamps on the letter yourself. I would never recommend anyone to them and I am surprised they are still in business. Maybe they have big business accounts because I don't think any small office or business would benefit from their cost, customer service and attitude. I told them twice that I don't want to be renewed and I'm stuck yet again. I am looking at legal action just to fight them. Makes no sense money wise but someone has to expose this practice read more

FP Mailing Solutions has been a headache to work with since day one of our year contract. The postage meter itself is constantly having issues and is not user friendly, every other day it was reading a different error code and of course the only way to fix the problem is to call the customer service line. In our 3 month time with FP we have gone through two postage meters, and neither lived up to the description FP gives their postage meters. Our direct contact at FP could never help and always transferred us to a different department, which would end up as a 45 minute + hold time just to end as a string of transfers and a terrible customer service experience from every department. Their customer service is appalling to say the least, there cancelation department was completely unfazed by the fact that a customer that has only been with them for three months would much rather pay the contract cancelation fee and return their meter than continue to use the meter for the remaining life of the contract. To make matters worse, they did not try to remedy the situation or offer any solutions, not sure why this surprised us considering every experience with them has been equally terrible if not worse! I would never recommend FP Mailing solutions to anyone! read more

THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! The postage meter we received is TOTALLY not the one that was promised and it works like CRAP. The customer service takes an extended amount of time to reach a human and then they don't help. Their attitude is unbelievable- something like, "Too bad you have a contract now". DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. I AM STUCK FOR A YEAR AND THEN I WOULD LIKE TO SHOVE THEIR NO GOOD MACHINE UP YOU KNOW WHERE. read more

I would not recommend using FP Mailing Solutions. We have been a customer since 2011. The machines are ok (T1000 & MyMail), it does what it is supposed to do but is very slow. The ink cartridge replacements are over $100 and they have a chip that automatically stops working at a certain imprint number, no matter whether the cartridge is fine or not. The main reason that I would not recommend is that they have a yearly auto renew policy that kicks in with a 90 day (Yes, 90 days!) notice of cancellation required. Auto-renew is fine if they give you warning that this is going to happen. However, FP sent us a notice in mid January that our term was up at the next billing term and that our price was going up. I contacted them to see about returning the machine. I was told that our contract had been extended to April 2020. I said but I do not want to renew and he said that I would of had to let them know in December that we did not want to auto renew. If we decide to terminate before the April 2020 they will still bill us for the entire amount of their contract. This is a sneaky and underhanded practice that should not be allowed. read more

The Customer Service dept has been very helpful, but the Technical support is horrible. Dan Fotopoulos acted as if I was the most ignorant person he had ever talked to. our Company ordered a new postage machine and I was trying to hook it up via Wi-Fi per the instructions. After four hours I gave up and called their tech support. All he did was start asking me if I hooked it up according to the Wi-Fi directions and then starting asking me all kinds of technical questions. After I asked him to slow down and walk me thru it. Which I did and it still wouldn't hook up to the internet. He then asked me what the error code was, and I told him and he told me I had to call up our IT support because it was a firewall problem. We don't have a firewall on our Wi-Fi. But he was in such a hurry he just told me he was going to send me a white list and I still don't know what I am supposed to do with this. I am so frustrated at this moment as I have been working on this all morning. I have other work to do so I will call them back tomorrow and hopefully get someone who wants to help. Donna I read more

Like others who have written, I had no problems with my postage machine. The problem is their customer service dept. They just don't care. The billing department started to send me statements for additional charges AFTER I told them I was not renewing my contract and AFTER the machine had been returned to them. Hey, anybody can make a mistake, right? I finally reached someone in customer service who said he'd take care of it. But the bills have continued. I've written messages and letters to them and the bills continue. Morons. read more

Disappointing that a company of this size has so many issues with customer service. My issues over the last 4 years are too many to list including the latest of my meter not being able to load new money on it for postage, Calling and being told that my meter is no longer eligible to be used and now I have to upgrade. I was upset that no one from FP would have called or emailed to inform me of the issue before my meter ran out.. The customer service rep said "I see a note from 2014" where we mentioned it to you and you declined... 2 years ago??? now I am being told that I have to upgrade to a more expensive postage meter, sign a new contract and if I want to take my business to another company they will charge me a early termination fee?? Wait.. What?? There are other postage company options who I hope have better business practices.. read more

This company is terrible and they do not stand behind the product. They make you pre-pay the postage machine unless you want to have it pulled directly from your bank account unlike neopost who will just send you a bill at the end of the month. I spoke with someone Michael Adams who was our sales person who did not tell us about this and once the sale was made he refused to help us with this at all. I would never recommend this company and even worse I would never recommend using Michael Adams for a sales person of any company. read more

I have been an FP customer for 15 years. I have never had great customer service, but the lack of customer service I have received in the last three weeks is ridiculous. I had an issue with an order and talked with a CSR. She was supposed to call me back the next day. I have NEVER heard another word from her dispite leaving her a couple more messages. I have since spoken to two Supervisors/Managers, both of which were suppose to return calls, but again I have NEVER heard anything from either of them even having left several more messages. There customer service is AWFUL!!!!! If I had other company options, I would definitely switch, but due to the nature of what I do, this seems to be my only alternative!!!!! I am NOT a happy customer, and they don't even seem to care!!!! read more

UPDATE 12/15/2017 I spoke with someone in "contracts" and they have agreed to waive the termination clause "evergreen", and part amicably. We have sent the machine back in a safe and satisfactory way, through UPS, insured, double boxed, packed and photographed by UPS. It should be noted that this company requires a 3 month notice before your 12 month contract is up. They do have an evergreen clause that will cause the contract to renew in perpetuity. Also note, that the HP cartridge that the machine takes is proprietary, and will require you to purchase a replacement for at-least $35-$75 per. I will update if anything changes. read more

Please do not sign with fp mailing solutions, horrible in every way! I wish I could go back in time and not sign up with them, now I am stuck for another 3 years and there is no way to get out of the 5 year agreement. Please stay away or else you will be sorry. People are not nice and threaten to leave your business a bad review! When they have never been to my business personally to be leaving a review. Please just buy stamps you will save more! read more

I've been a customer for several years. I operate a small business and we have high volume of outgoing mail. Based on all these negative reviews here, I guess my struggles with this company is not unique. Months ago, my machine stopped working and they swapped me a new machine. The machine they sent me does not work properly and was never set up. Spoke with tech support and still nothing. They first tried to convince me that I didn't follow the set up steps correctly. Then tech said that they send me a wrong toner/part and was sending to me asap. That was a few months ago. Nothing. Spoke with billing and asked what I was paying for. The gentleman said, "Sir, do you have the machine? That's what you're being billed for." Me: "Sir, but the machine has never worked." Him: "Sir, but do you have the machine?" Me: I can't deal with that type of logic and customer care. I need to be done with this company. They are supposedly sending me an email with cancellation directions. Still have not received said email. read more

Our contract isn't set to renew until February of 2017. We received a notice yesterday of an up-coming renewal. It is December 2016 & the reps claim we can't cancel our contract because they require 90 day notice. This company is ridiculous! We will be taking them to court. read more

FREE AT LAST! from FP. Have used their most basic machines for the past 25 years. No longer needed due to increased correspondence by email. However, they are not customer oriented, though perhaps they are trying as I see they respond to these posts. Solve complaints??? When I received the MyMail Max machine there were no download instructions in the booklet! Local dealer had to find someone to instruct me. I had to pay a monthly fee for a download cord that could convert the machine's analog signal to our digital phone lines. Really? But what p. me off was that last year the local dealer called me a couple of weeks before my contract was to expire & said I can still renew at the old rate. I replied that I did not wish to renew at all. "Oh no, you have to give 90 days notice for that." So I immediately emailed FP & advised my cancellation a year hence. (Actually emailed a couple of non-renewals to them.) Speaking of rates, one year, I got someone else's invoice for the same exact machine, but it was at a lower rate. I called to complain & was advised they run specials sometimes. Turns out I was an older customer, but it didn't matter to them. When returning your meter, you must have proof from USPS that it was delivered. When I called the day after the signed delivery just to confirm, I was told "oh, it takes up to 3 weeks to get it recorded in the FP system." Well-run companies have policies that if after 24-48 hours something is amiss, the receiver has no basis for a claim. One good note is that I received my remaining postage funds in a week! Read your contract carefully & get everything in writing when dealing with FP. read more

I'm just joining the list of very unhappy customers of FP. Since installing the postage meter we have never been able to use the scale without getting customer service on the line to walk us through steps not in the manual. Many of the features require a phone call since the documentation is so poor. When we tried to cancel service on May 15th I was told it had to be done at least 90 days prior to my August contract date that automatically renews each year. Because we were inside of 90 days we were locked into another 15 months of service before we can return the meter. To put it politely these guys are crooks with a product that doesn't work and a contract that holds the customer hostage. Read the other internet comments and you'll see ours is not an isolated case. read more

Free trial, no it is not. Customer service was nearly impossible to obtain and then unhelpful, i.e., bounced from one rep to another. Also, we got a used machine that cost us money of our own to set up in order to get a previous customer's info out of it. We were set the wrong ink which we had to replace at our cost. We never got the 30% off ink discount. The machine jammed and printed crooked. The machine kept locking up requiring us to login and get a pin number to begin using again. We never stopped buying paper stamps. Now they demand payment for the six-month free trial and the 42 month contract we didn't realize we had signed up for as the terms and conditions of the contract aren't included with the contract (they send you a link to them) and don't spell out what you are in for. I spent months fighting with these people. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. I am sending a complaint to the BBB. read more

Our machine never works, we have to call technical support all the time to have the machine reset because we are unable to do it through their "troubleshooting" steps. I contacted the company multiple times regarding our account and never received any correspondence back. Today I called and, oh boy are they rude! The first representative Mary just spoke over me and didn't let me speak and then transferred my call. Then Brian in the cancellations department was even worse then her! (Which is hard to believe)He was laughing at me, telling me "ha, yeah you won't get this account cancelled." I told him I was going to contact my lawyer to review the contract because an unauthorized employee, who has since been fired for fraud and theft, signed the contract without consent of the owners of the company and Brian again with a sarcastic, snarky tone stated "there's nothing he will be able to do." I asked him if he was a lawyer that he could make statements like that, and he didn't answer and hung up on me. So not only was my issue of a messed up machine not rectified, I got unwanted and unwarranted legal advice and I still can't print stamps! Now I understand their horrible reviews! read more

There needs to be an option for negative stars. This is the WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT use this company, i'd buy stamps first. I asked for an automatic feeder postage machine, didn't get it, called and was treated like CRAP, the guy actually told me that i didn't need what i was asking for. Last time i checked i run my business not them. I have gone rounds with this company and NEVER even got to use the meter. I sent it back and still had to pay for the entire contract to stay out of collections. This is by far a summarized version of the bs i have endured due to the complete jerks that work for this company. I use pitney bowes and will never switch again. Screw FP Solutions. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!!! I own an insurance agency with 3 locations. Switched to FP for all 3 locations. I have experienced EVERYTHING that has been written about this company. This company sent out a machine in December that still isn't operational! Now they want to up sale us to a new contract in order for the company to send out a machine that works! Well well well. I guess I should have read the reviews before going with FP Mailing Solutions. Its been a terrible experience with them. The second I signed the contract service has been terrible. Constantly trying to over charge, then of course their little contract trick to hook you into a 2nd year, by limiting how you can cancel the agreement, and of course completely failing to notify you. Buyer beware is the phrase. I'm guessing these guys have very few clients beyond the 2 years they dupe you into. Save yourself the trouble, go with someone else. Although USPS has made the rules for postage meters so strict its nearly a monopoly for the few companies that offer this service. What a mess. read more

Amazingly BAD customer service!! There's a reason FP has 59 negative reviews and 21 formal complaints with the BBB. Unfortunately, now I find myself in the middle of it. Been a customer for several years. Was advised in early December that the machine I have will become obsolete at end of year. Only Option provided....Sign a new, long term contract (12-48 months) for an updated machine that is higher priced. The original lease was signed in Nov of 2015 and was a 26 mth commitment. Apparently leases automatically renew for 12 mths after initial term AND require 90 days written notice prior to the automatic renewal. Had I been advised 90 days ago that my machine would no longer work, I would have provided written notice and cancelled. Now, I'm my only option is to sign a new, long term contract or pay 12 months for a machine that doesn't work. I've tried calling and emailing several times to discuss, but nobody will return my calls or respond to emails. I guess the negative reviews will just keep adding up. Unfortunate that FP leadership doesn't see a pattern here. read more

Be very careful of this company. They automatically renew the leases without any kind of notice! To send the meter back after your contract is over, the cost was over $100.00 because of the insurance that is required. The meters they use are cheap and horrible to use. The postage does not update automatically. Customer service is terrible and ink cartridges are over $100 not included in the contract. Just an overall horrible company to deal with. read more

I do not even want to give one star. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in 30 plus years!! The FP mymail meter has an absolutely horrible time connecting to my computer--you have unplug it, try to activate it, change the USB from one port to another, all these things time and time again! As soon as this contract is up, I'm done with them!! read more

I too feel 1 star is too high a rating for FP. I spent 40+ years in my business, FP is one of the worst I came across. I leased a postage meter from them for several years. Shortly after I retired my lease with them was coming to an end. Notified them we would not be renewing & asked them for direction on returning the meter. The told us what to do & we did it. A few months later they began billing me for another year lease because they have buried in the fine print of the contract I signed a 6 mo notice requirement if lease isn't to be renewed. Who has ever heard of a 6 mo notice to the lessor that the lease won't be renewed? I told them if they were going to insist on me paying another year lease, I expected them to return the meter to me. Of course they said they wouldn't do that & continue to bill me. I expect they will now turn it over to a collection agency. Extremely unethical & obviously embrace shady business practices. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! read more

If there was a negative star I'd give it to them. The machine they leased us was impossible to use, required many many buttons to be pushed before postage was printed and a pure pain in the !@#$. I was sold JUNK and in order to get out of that machine I would have needed to upgrade to a system we had no use for that was much more expensive. The only way for me to get out of this lease, even 100% dissatisfied, was to pay the rest of the 3 years lease payment and walk away. I did that gladly to be done with FP-USA. I will be using mail.com and with a simple Dymo label printer and simple software.Problem sovled. TRY THAT - avoid FP. read more

Please avoid doing business with this company. They have the worst customer service on the planet. We have been a loyal customer for well over 5 years and tried to call about cancelling our meter. We were then told that our contract ended in July and AUTO_RENEWED for an ENTIRE YEAR without our consent. They gave us no warning whatsoever or options. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They force you to sign up for their "Convenient" auto-renew feature. So now I am stuck with invoices and being threaten on charges for still having the machine I WANT to return, Why would I want to keep a non-working machine. We rented a postal machine for our office for almost 15 years. We're a small office so we were only paying around a hundred dollars every 3 months. Finally cancelled about 12 months ago because we just weren't using it enough anymore. They continued to bill us even after we cancelled, then they sent us a thousand dollar bill for the 15 year old postal machine that they previously told us was obsolete and we needed to replace it. We sent it back to them per their instructions so we didn't have to pay the thousand dollars and now they sent us to collections for over 3 thousand dollars. So somehow they send us to collections for years worth of what it would cost us to lease this obsolete machine. These guys are unbelievable. Incredibly rude and condescending when you actually do talk or email with them. Stay the heck away. I've never seen a company that would send a 15 year customer to collections for thousands of dollars when they owe absolutely nothing. read more

Well, I really wish I would have seen all these reviews on here, BBB and Google before I signed up for the company. We signed up in Jan 2018 for a 13 month contract. All through the contract we hardly used the machine because everytime we went to use it we had to reset the machine which took close to 5 min or so just to send out a letter, then one day after about 100 letters the ink ran out I went on the website to order and they were well over 200 bucks which later they told me there was one for 119 which is still ridiculous. Apparently they send out a low yield one with the machine "just to get you up and running" and then you have to buy one. We went to cancel on December 5th and they told my business partner we were in a contract until 2020 which is funny because our contract isn't up until February 2019. Apparently if you want to cancel you have to do it 90 days before your contract is up!!! WTH?? So you're telling me I have what, one day to cancel? Anyway, I told them this is ridiculous and I'll be sure to write the BBB and he was like "well do what you have to do" and now I can see why he wasn't concerned... I would stay far away from this company, they have to scam people to get business. I switched from pitney bowes to save like 5 dollars a month, man that sure backfired. Don't make the same mistake I made, pitney bowes may be a little more expensive but they are the best by far customer service wise and everything. read more

If I could give a negative star review, that's what I would give this company. It's super easy to receive a postage meter. But terminating the contract, returning the postage meter, and getting a postage refund could not be more difficult! They permit a very narrow window to terminate the contract, if you miss it, you are stuck in your contract. When you do act within the required time frame, the return transaction requires many steps including shipping the device back to them, instead of returning to the business that set you up with it (FC Mailing Solutions in Hickory, NC). If you need to call them, which you probably will because the process is arduous, be prepared that they make talking to a live person excruciatingly frustrating. If I ever get the postage refund, I will NEVER again deal with FP Mailing Solutions in Addison, IL or FC Mailing Solutions in Hickory, NC. I strongly urge you to stay away from these businesses. read more
