I have been coming to Foxy Nails for the last 5 months every 2 weeks like clockwork. Tracy gets me in and out for my fill in 30 minutes. And each time I get them done, it's always perfect. From the polish to the shaping, Tracy gets it done. I appreciate how consistent she is. I have been late a few times cause of accidentally falling asleep before my appointment. Tracy was always kind and got me worked in later that day or in the next day. Every 2 weeks is my self care appointment where I get to chill and get my nails all lined up for the next two weeks. I have been here twice now and both times I've had Vincen do my dip nails. To say I'm obsessed with his work is an understatement. I will gladly drive from Mountain Home in the rain just to have him do my nails. He does exactly what I want and does such an incredible job. It took me forever to grow my nails out before I went and got the dip and he was very mindful about how he filed them down to keep the length. He does a perfect coffin shape. The best part of my nails to me is that he keeps the dip fairly thin so they look natural without being flimsy. This is literally the first person in the years I've been getting dip done who has been able to keep them looking natural. Thank you Vincen! New owners told me to find a new nail salon! I I have been going to this salon for a long time. I have the old owner's cell number, because we got along that well. She was excellent. Since the new owners took over this year, I've been back about 4 times. Today, my thumb nail dried with white powder dip on top of the color and the other nails had white residue around them, so I asked for a discount, as I had already been there 2 hours (a long time for a dip mani). Zero confrontation, zero conflict. The nail tech was giving me $5 off and I was fine with it- But, as I was checking out, the new owner rudely told me to find a new nail salon. Confused, I asked what she meant. She said I should find a new place if I have a problem with their powder. The whole thing was bizarre. I am new to the area so I went to try this place. It isn't clean. The woman Rose who did my nails used dirty tools on me. There was nail polish on the cuticle pusher and I didn't see her clean the tools before or after using them on me. I do not believe the male that performed the service for gel manicure was trained and licensed, based on the techniques that he used. I have never had a licensed nail technician pick at my nails, even after I expressed that it caused me discomfort, he continued to try to lift the nail dip off my natural nail bed with his fingers. The acetone was ineffective because it is recycled from use on previous clients; and he was utilizing strips of paper towel instead of cotton balls. I also observed that the "nail tech" continued to brush the sealing top coat after the initial application, and when I put my fingertips under the UV light, I could see the spots towards the tips that were over-brushed. I knew those would be problem areas. Now, as of yesterday, THREE days after paying $35 (and who knows why I included a $5 tip!) for a "professional" gel manicure, they are chipping. I will return to the salon today to attempt to get a refund on my credit card, and hope to be able to edit/update this review later today. read more

DON'T BOTHER. Even if you make an appointment, expect them to be 15-20 minutes late to start every time. I'm a busy working mom who needs to change my appointment times every so often. I vowed never to go back but my regular manicurist had to cancel same day due to a family emergency and every where I else I called didn't have an Appt available so I took a chance... My best friend and I have a girls day every two weeks and come here to get our nails done. To be totally truthful there has occasionally been issues with our nails but they have always fixed the issue with no complaints. HOWEVER the issues have ceased with their newest nail tech. We always go to see our "blonde buddy". She does a wonderful job and doesnt shy away from more time consuming nail art. Where the other nail techs tend to dislike doing the nail art and often do the nail fills and send us to the newer girls station for the nail art. I only went here because its close to where I live, seemed nice enough, clean, well put together, and I was seated almost right away. The only guy there (didn't catch his name) sat me down and started on my fill, he was friendly until I mentioned that I didn't like the shape he just decided to give me, that I was looking for more of a coffin shape like what I came in with. He then began to aggressively file my nails, and huff about the extra time he had to spend on my nails I actually caught myself apologizing... (FYI I was the only one in there) In turn I was given very bumpy oddly shaped nails which cost me $35 dollars. Not the worst experience I've ever had but not much better. Hum.. where to start.. I guess I'll begin with the fact that I was literally greeted with an eye roll. There were two nail techs working- one had a client the other was sitting playing on her phone. I came in about 45 minutes before close, which is a decent amount of time for a fill. The free nail tech did not acknowledge me. In fact she looked at the other tech (I'm assuming she was the salon owner?) with a look of dismay. The owner said "go on, make some money!" And then the owner turned and smiled to me and ushered me to the disgruntled employee. It was so freaking awkward. I still waited for the nail tech to look up at me and she didn't. So I plopped myself down, regretting my decision to come here. It was unbearably awkward. I kept thinking to myself "I could cut this tension with a knife." The salon owner kept peering over at us and smiling at me warmly, trying to help me feel relaxed because she could tell I absolutely wasn't. When I say she didn't say word one- SHE DIDNT SAY ONE WORD TO ME. She kept looking at her watch and cell phone like I was ruining her evening plans. Actually- she did say one thing- which was that my nails didn't look like they needed to be done. Are you freaking kidding me? They're my nails, they were too long, lifting...I've worn acrylics for years. Please don't tell me when to get my nails redone or not. When I went to wash my hands I noticed how uneven the filing job was. I asked her to kindly re do the filing of them. She did say "wow they are pretty bad." walked in to have a fill done because i didn't have time to go to my usual place. seemed like it was a nice place, the inside is nice. the gentleman that did my fill told me his name was Lucky. I know that i'm really picky about my nails so I really do try and give people the benefit of the doubt. I don't know if he was in a rush or what but he seemed to run the drill really fast (but I don't do nails so I could be completely wrong) he seemed to be annoyed that when the drill got too hot on my nails I drew my hand back, and he also knicked me under my thumb too. He made conversation by asking about my life and my husband, told him my husband is a pilot and would eventually start working for a major airline and Lucky responded by telling me that "your husband will have lots of girlfriends". I was extremely pleasant the entire time even though inside I was fuming. who says that to another person? i will not be going back and as you can see by the photos it was shoddy work. for $30 i expected better work and better manners. lucky said he was the owner, for the sake of his business I hope he takes a class on the proper way of interacting with clients. read more

Definitely do not go to this nail shop! Their price list says 15 dollars for a gel polish "change". I went in to just have a quick toe nail polish change and they charged me 25! I told them their menu said 15 and they argued that it's 15 for the polish and 10 to remove it! How is removing polish not part of "changing" polish? 25 bucks for 10 minutes?
