It might be because I'm not high maintenance or it could be because they are just that good. My money is that they are just that good. The salon is conveniently located in the Fred Meyer center at Linder and Chinden, next to the UPS store and Nick's. It's a little tucked away, but once you find it, it's not easily forgotten. I am welcomed in every time that I come (which has always been on time - it's important to be punctual here as they are very busy!), usually by Phi. On my most recent visit, I booked a mommy-daughter pedicure and they ensured that our chairs together. The new chairs are quite fancy...very comfortable and I love that the massage options are easy to select and understand. We chose the deluxe pedicure with regular nail polish at $55. It was well worth the price considering how masterful Phi trimmed my nails, cuticles and then moved on to the multi-level scrubs, massage, heels and painting. I felt utterly pampered. Two days later another broken nail but this time with significant damage to my real nail. I have very little grow out (see pictures) and already two missing nails. That's not right. It is more than likely due to the fact that he did so little to ensure that the bond was good between the false and the real nail. No filing, no triming to my desired length or even shaping the nail before putting the acrylic on. When I say there was no prep - I mean NOTHING. Unfortunately, my real nails have suffered again and they actually hurt. They are not pretty. They are not shaped well. The color coverage is not even and you can see many bare spots. I understand that I was your last appointment of the day but I work two jobs and I work hard for my money. I'm so sad that so many steps were skipped in an effort to leave for the day. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe he thought it didn't matter? But whatever his reason was still doesn't change the outcome and damage for me.

I was on the hunt for a new nail tech who was skilled and also CLEAN & SAFE! Needless to say, I am beyond thrilled that I saw Kadence's nail designs on Instagram. After reading dozens of 5 Star Reviews on Yelp for her work and OUTSTANDING NAIL ART I quickly booked an appointment. I showed her my disaster of a situation of paper thin nails, detached nails from my nail beds, and the disgusting mold that had began to grow underneath them, and she informed me that my acrylics had been done at a nail salon that was using illegal toxic chemicals and that they also were breaking several health code violations judging by the poor state of natural nails!
