I was surprised by how delicious their strawberry matcha drink was! Their latte was also on point. Glad to see Foxtrot inside Sears Tower.

While visiting Chicago we went to Foxtrot before we went out for the day! The honey cinnamon draft latte was SO delicious, everyone who got it loved it! I got the egg white protein wrap too and it had a good flavor, the place was packed with people working for the day or stopping in like we were. Great place!

There's something great about coffee on draft! I wish more coffee shops in my area had this option. It was my first time trying Foxtrot, as I'm not a Chicagoan, and I was a fan. My friend treated me to the La Colombe x Foxtrot, aka oat milk latte. The nitro pour just makes it so creamy and delish. It's also kind of a filling drink, being made the oat milk, so I was overall satisfied! They've also got classic cold brew on tap and currently a cookie latte, which is prob too sweet for me to want a whole one, but I bet people enjoy that pick. There's also plenty of other cafe options like chais, matchas, lemonade-type drinks, and smoothies. Didn't get a chance to try and food but breakfast tacos and paninis!? I'd definitely take either of those options for my next visit.

Great little Foxtrot in the Gold Coast! Foxtrot's are my favorite, and I'm so happy to see them popping up again around Chicago. This location had more limited seating than others, but it's still really cute and there is a large bar + some additional tables and patio seating. Otherwise, it's perfect for a grab & go coffee or to swing in for groceries. I love browsing their curated selection of snacks, beer, and wine. For this visit, a friend and I grabbed a coffee at the cafe bar. They have a La Colombe oat milk latte on draft so we went with that. Sooo creamy and frothy -- I love their draft lattes! We sat on the patio and the wifi worked great to knock out some work. No complaints!

Foxtrot is by far my most favorite market in the entire country. From their freshly packaged Swedish, sour and regular candies, to their extremely selective snacks, goods, juices, and other grocery items, every item in this market is top tier. Their coffee bar is eclectic and delicious and the prices are comparable to other high end products and markets. Their selection of wine is some of the most diverse and all the markets are so conveniently located. Stop on your way to the lake or beach, before or after work, or warm up during the winter and stock up on your favorite goods. There truly isn't enough good things to say and is one my most favorite places I look forward to visiting when I'm in Chicago. All the workers are always extremely kind and welcoming and can help you find any product or answer any question.

Nice interior, super friendly service. Tacos were absolutely delicious. Latte was the bomb. All 10/10.

Foxtrot is everything you could ever need in a coffee shop!!! First, everyone should know they have the best sourdough EVER!!!! If I could only get one thing from foxtrot for the rest of my visits it would be the sourdough. They have other great food too that is made to order or deli style. Foxtrot always has great seasonal drinks making it easy to spice up your coffee order. My favorite has been the strawberry matcha. I ordered with no simple syrup to help tone down the sweetness and it turned out perfect!!! Foxtrot also has endless bottoms of wine you can purchase & lots of little grocery items. Great spot to go in & browse, get some work done or grab a coffee & snack.

Location has outdoor seating and a few spots inside. It's not as large as others. Their coffee is really good. Every time I've been there, the employee have been really nice.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised with my Matcha at Foxtrot! I got an iced Matcha with almond milk and sugar-free vanilla. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. They had plenty of syrups to choose from to spice up your drink. Kind staff, plenty of grab and go snacks!

A cute coffee shop with a wide variety of coffee options and other drinks/snacks. Plenty of seating to enjoy a drink with others or get some work done. I got the breakfast sandwich which was good and an iced vanilla latte which was just ok. Service was quick and friendly!

Overall I like Foxtrot but to pay $16 for a premade sandwich only to open the wrapper and discover that there isn't even bread for the entire sandwich is quite disappointing and frustrating. I expect better for the price point.

I'm so glad I finally stopped into the Foxtrot location near my condo! The exterior is charming, sitting mid-block on a tree lined Gold Coast side street. There is an area for al fresco dining when the Chicago weather permits. Inside, it was bustling. All of the diverse seating areas were filled. Singles, couples and groups chatting while enjoying a coffee or breakfast item. We sat at a long center bar area to nosh on our avocado toast. My friend loved her latte and my black iced tea was soo good. I was very impressed with the huge variety of retail and snacks. This is your one stop shop for a birthday, anniversary, housewarming or host gift. I saw a few things I might go back and pick up for myself. The staff were all very pleasant. They were helpful and efficient. I appreciate that.

They immediately made me feel welcome, chatting with me, giving me suggestions on places to check out in the city, and just radiating kindness. By the time I was ready to leave, it was pouring outside. They offered me a plastic bag to protect my things and encouraged me to stay until the rain slowed down. It was such a small gesture, but it really left an impression. While I was there I also noticed how warmly they greeted every customer who came in, and people were genuinely happy to stop by. This was such a memorable and heartwarming first impression of Chicago. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this shop to say hello to the wonderful owners. As I was waiting for the person in front of me to finish, the employee asked the customer to please step ahead so I could put my items down. He was already done and taking his time doing something else so I felt that was thoughtful of him to do for me. They were very polite and quick. I NO LONGER FEEL "SAFE" AT THIS WALGREENS!…read more This is not about the service I received in the Greek town location. It's about what happened after I left the store. This occurred approximately 14-hours ago (12:30-ish am/2/3/24). It was around mid-night that I decided to walk down the street a few blocks to Walgreens. I only purchased cereal and milk... and a small bag of popcorn. For the record, hopefully everything inside the store was caught on the security cameras. While shopping in the aisles, I had spoken to a police officer who was shopping, thanking him for his service. They do a job that you couldn't pay me enough to do. Anyway, after walking slowly through the store (I walk slow due to health problems), I paid for each item then stepped aside to make room for the next customer while I looked at my receipt and put the items in my own (blue & white) shopping bag. It's made of a sort of sturdier than paper cloth. I got myself together and finally exited the store at a slow walking pace. By the time I reached the traffic light at the end of the block (going north at Monroe), I stopped to open my bag of popcorn. I was struggling to open the bag, due to health problems). Suddenly, a slightly taller than me, heavy-set male approached me from behind, demanding in a threatening tone to show him what's in my bag. I initially thought I was being robbed. I slowly turned around asking, "Why? (trying to stall and access)". The street was dark, isolated, and no traffic. Where's a cop car when you need one? Hey. There's a cop inside the Walgreens. That said, the guy kept demanding I show him what's in my bag. Was I being mugged? I asked, "Who are you?" He seemed to get frustrated not answering my question and demanded I show him the contents of my bag. Now, I really think I'm getting mugged. I still asked him, "Why?" He got even more frustrated and said, "Just open your bag!" Once again, I asked "Why?" Was this a hungry homeless person?,,, Retarded?... I mean, mentally challenged. Should I scream? I suddenly thought to myself... Is this a Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman moment (Feb 26, 2012) when a non-Black guy (hiding a gun on his person) stalks a lone African-American male in a dark, isolated area with no witnesses to start a physical altercation (fight) after which said non-Black guy pulls out the gun he was hiding, to murder the African-American male... Then claim he feared for his life, shooting in self-defense of the altercation he started with a guy who was minding his own business? He then said something like. "There's a box in your bag". A box? I turned to look inside my bag to see what box he was referring to. Before I knew it, he reached inside my bag and grabbed my box of cereal (Cheerios) and walked off real fast in the direction of the Walgreens. Did I mention, I don't walk fast? I walked back to the store to tell the police officer inside (provided he was still there) and the Walgreens that I had just been robbed by a hungry homeless person. He took my box of Cheerios and ran off. I still had the milk. I was willing to risk it sounding funny, By the time I reached the front entrance, the young woman who waited on me at the cash register met the guy just outside the store. She was talking to him. Oh... Is this moron a Walgreens employee who didn't have the sensed to identify himself as such? He was not wearing a Security uniform, and he was not the police. When I got there, the cashier was so apologetic. She told me that after my very slow departure from the store, an alarm went off. Really? It must've been silent because I didn't hear any alarm... and I was walking slow as a snail. I asked, "This is what sent this moron (still standing there for some reason) stalking down the street behind me?"... Oh... I get it now... He was treating me like I was a CRIMINAL. He expected me to blindly do as he said while refusing to answer my basic questions ("Who are you?" and "Why do you want to see what's in my bag?") Had I realized that, this would've ended with me cussing him da'hell out on the street... and probably escalating. Why didn't anyone tell the cop inside the store? Why send an inexperienced, over-excited, don't know anything employee who is not even law enforcement to assault me? OK. Now I can't help this. Was it because I'm black? Although the cashier apologized, this incident is still with me. For all I know, I was targeted, it was done one purpose, and I'm not convinced it won't happen again. Anyway, I just thought I should document this incident somewhere, in case incidents like this happen all the time to black people at this Walgreens location... or any others.

It was by happenstance, through an email from Whiskey Magazine about their favorite spots in Chicago, that I found out about Warehouse Liquors. For the uninitiated, the Warehouse Liquors web site is the best place to start, as it features a comprehensive schedule of in-store tastings. Weekly tastings are from 5pm-7pm Thursdays (whiskey and beer) and 5pm-7pm Fridays (wine). The storefront is deceptively small, as it features a vast selection of spirits and wines, including a cooler at the back of the store and a curated assortment of food (snacks). I came here for a wine tasting on Friday in early spring (better late than never with this review) and now feel remiss that I have not been back here more often. It was a perfect date night activity and kickoff to the weekend. Now that cooler temperatures are here, I look forward to returning to sample some of the whiskeys and scotches and making some considered purchases. The personalization and the fact that this is a locally owned business sets Warehouse Liquors apart from the rest.
