1/2 lb. Cheeseburger & Salad
Santino C.

Great sports bar with plenty of big screen TVs, a nice menu, pool tables, darts, Pop-a-Shot, etc. The burger I had was very good. Friendly staff!

The spicy Bloody Mary.

I was meeting a friend for lunch at another place that ended up being closed so I jumped on yelp to see what was close and this place was around the corner. Just looking at it from the street with the outdoor patio it didn't look like much but when you walk in the place is huge. I don't think that I have been in a place with more TVs on the walls. They have a big bar and plenty of tables around it with 2 pool tables, 3 dart machine, video gaming etc etc. The menu is typical sports bar and pizza was brought up but I was craving a good cheeseburger for awhile I said that's not been filled so I don't want pizza. I started with a Bloody Mary and a Spotted cow chaser Sunday special, the Bloody Mary was ok with with some spice to it and better than average. I ordered the classic cheeseburger rare with lettuce, tomato and onion with tots as my potato. The burgers didn't take long and I'm wondering if it's going to be cooked correctly because that gets messed up all the time. When the food hit the table it looked and smelled amazing with tons of tots, no skimping here. The tots were cooked perfect golden, extra crispy shell with a soft inside and really good. The weird half moon shape frys were also very good with a crisp shell and soft center. Ok now to try my rare cheeseburger, let take a bite and see OMG this is so delicious and you can tell by the taste that it was cooked perfect because totally cooked meat tast different. OMG the beef patty had this awesome char grilled flavor and having just lettuce, tomato and onion with no mustard/ketchup you could taste the meat in every bite. The bun and toppings were fresh and made the burger great. They make a cheeseburger that Is what I think a good cheeseburger should taste like and be so my good cheeseburger crave was totally satisfied. My buddy and his wife are definitely taking her father there I was just texted as I write this review so we all loved the burgers that we had today.

$7.00 Grey Goose Bloodies

I don't know why nothing seems to last in this space, but they have a nice outdoor patio, so I thought I would give this a try. Fox's has a large space for the bar and tables. It was seat yourself on the patio this afternoon. Service was quick and polite. They have $5 rail or $7 Grey Goose Bloodies on Sundays. Naturally we went with the Goose. Bloodies were good, nothing spectacular, Just a pickle, olives, lmie slice and lemon wedge and a bud light chaser, There menu is typical for a sports bar, apps, wings, burgers, pizza. etc. We went with the wings. We had both the mild and the fajita seasoned wings and shared an order of tots. Food was out incredibly quick and it was good, but again nothing stands out. There is also a nice fire pitman the for the evenings. I would definitely go here again just fo the convenience

Fox's Pub from the outside looks like a really big bar with a small parking lot. Upon entering, that's exactly it. I did find close parking and inside the bar extends all the way over there. Two bouncers were standing close to the door and were paying close attention to those who walked in and what was going on inside the bar. We were immediately greeted by a few bartenders and had our drinks quickly. I was glad to hear that there is a kitchen which is open late. There is plenty of seating at the long bar and many available tables as well. Several large tv's were spread throughout the bar. At one point I did ask a server for a glass of water, but unfortunately, it never arrived. I didn't see a beer or food list. I didn't see a menu for food, drink or a QR code to scan. The music playing was not too loud and I was able to carry on a conversation without having to yell. On a shelf behind the bar were some assorted games which never left behind the bar. I did notice a Christmas tree as we left and some other decorations as well. A very friendly bar, a good experience.

I have been anxiously waiting for them to open. It would be nice to have a non-chain option in the area. Our server was very friendly and brought popcorn to the table. I love popcorn and that was a fast win. We ordered the cheese curds which appeared to be just fried blocks of cheese, there was no breading. I thought they were supposed to come with poblano ranch but we got marinara. I wouldn't get those again. I ordered the Buttermilk Crispy sandwich with tots. The sandwich was very good and I received a mass quantity of tots. The service was very attentive. I will come back to watch football here. They have great game day specials. Make sure you get here early when the games are on because the lot gets really packed.

Came here after Mad Dogs closed and this opened. I was recommended by a few guys to come here and try their food out. There specials were really good. They had the $6 pitcher of beer and $5 old fashions. They didn't use the cheap or generic Bourbon for this drink and I really appreciated that. Our waitress was so awesome!! She was really friendly, had great conversations, and was always checking to make sure we were okay with drinks and food. They had endless Mac and cheese which was a cool option to have. You got to pick from all their Mac and cheese options for this and there was a lot. Ordered the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. This dish was good. It wasn't spectacular or something I would order again, but still a good dish to eat. I wasn't a fan of the wings. They didn't really have a lot of flavor to them and the sauces I chose for them you couldn't really taste them. I enjoyed they had TVs everywhere and we were able to watch the Bucks game on multiple screens. I loved that they had a basketball machine, ping pong table, and pool to have some fun with. I would for sure come back for happy hour, maybe to try a different dish, and definitely try to get that same waitress because she was great at her job! The food could use a bit revamping for flavor and taste.

It's a small place with seating inside at the bar, or in the dining area. It has a small outside patio, along Forest Home Avenue. Inside there are TVs and video poker games next to the bar (not a fan of those, but they are a "sports" bar). We come here for the food, and not the ambiance. We stopped on a Saturday night for a late dinner. Got a table right away, and the server got us settled in with drinks and waters. The Blackberry Smash was fresh and flavorful, the Riverwest Stein in on tap! We ordered the Cheese Curds to start with. These curds are unique and one of our favorites. It's simply queso cheese that has been deep fried. No batter or breading, just the cheese. We split the Whiskey Burger. They made it perfectly to order, medium rare. It was moist and flavorful. We got the side of Sweet Potato Fries, they were just okay. Either overcooked or reheated, which was a disappointment. The service throughout the evening was exceptional. Always friendly, helpful and attentive. Just the right amount of attention, updating us on our order, checking our first bites, and any extra drinks. Thanks Lauren. A very good experience, for a Sports Bar dinner.

They do get busy, so consider a reservation. It's American pub food for the most part. Cheese curds are delicious. I love the pizzas and salads. They had a previous pizza guy and his pizzas were the best, sorry he's not there anymore, but they're still good. My husband likes their burgers and specials. My adult children like the sandwiches. Fish fry is excellent except for the coleslaw, it's spicy and I prefer either creamy or vinegar. We have tried many of the beers and enjoy them all. I typically get the crusher. Bartenders are always attentive when we sit at the bar. Servers are great, they are all so nice and remember regulars. Hostess is warm and welcoming, we even saw her at the grocery store and she said hi. They seem to have very little turnover of staff. Whenever we had any issues, we let the staff know and they corrected it promptly. They have a rewards club so we save on meals and a mug club to save on beer. The patio is a great spot in summer, there's a fire pit and you can bring dogs. They have trivia and other events regularly. We have tried their other Explorium locations and Wayfinder on the east side before a show - we had excellent service there too. The owners seem dedicated to the community and their staff. We'll keep coming back.

We were there on a Saturday night and while we weren't the only people there it was far from busy. The service was friendly and attentive. The dining room is casual with a view of the beer tanks. Basically what you would expect at a craft brewery. The menu had the basics - appetizers, soups, salads, burgers and sandwiches. They also make pizza and calzones and some other main course dishes like fish and chips. We ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer. My husband ordered a sandwich and I ordered the boneless wings. For drinks my husband ordered a ginger beer and I ordered Diet Coke. The check before tip was $62. Normally I'd be okay with that but I thought it was a lot given the quality of the food. The cheese curds and boneless chicken wings seemed like items from a restaurant supply place that they fried up. Unfortunately next time we are in the area we'll go somewhere else. A fast food restaurant would have given us the same quality food for a fraction of the price.

We headed to the back, where the various bars for drinks were open. The lines weren't too long, but people were everywhere, talking it up and having a great time. It was estimated to be around an hour for a table, but we got seated in under 30 minutes. You can grab about any drink you can think of, and if you're a whiskey or bourbon fan, there are plenty of options to choose from. We got seated inside, and behind us were so many options for spirits to purchase--it was fun just to look over everything they had. On top of that, there was a guy going around giving samples of spirits, so you can always get lucky that way and grab a sample of a possible future purchase We got salads, burgers, cheese curds, and other items. The food was excellent, and I was starving. If you left the place hungry, that's your fault--portion sizes were large, and the food was filling. The place was certainly noisy, and that's to be expected. This wasn't a problem, but keep it in mind. That Friday energy had people laughing, telling their stories from the week, and enjoying the food. Our server was extremely attentive and kept track of everything amidst so much going on there. I was really impressed with both the food and service. Can't wait to make it back there!

For my meal I ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo and really liked them. They were pretty greasy, but that is to be expected with that meat choice. They also had sausage and bacon as meat options on the tacos. I was not impressed with the potatoes and had to add salt. There was an option to add cheese and onion on the potatoes and maybe I would have liked them better if I had done it that way. The server was very nice and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. I will definitely be back when it's warmer and I can sit on the patio or watch a football game in the backyard.
