We came to this place based on proximity to the hotel and to watch the game and have a pint. Service was with a smile and appies and drinks delivered quickly. Dry ribs were hot and flavourful and Caesar salad was lightly dressed and enjoyable. The blackened chicken and pasta was ok, as was the Pulled Pork Mac n cheese. Garlic toast was delicious! The pub food was wonderful and the staff was great.. until a vagrant outside who had his pants half pulled down was right outside the windows near us. My S.O. knocked on the windows to get him to move along and the vagrant came into the pub and threatened us. We were accused to have provoked the vagrant and were asked to leave. We paid our bill and left and were told to never come back again. Yes my SO wouldn't put up with the vagrants threats and yelling but why were we told to leave and never come back again? We won't ever go there again and will never suggest any one else to go there. Again most of the staff was great except the 1 woman who blames us for the incident. read more

Went there for Thursday wing night. Had the honey garlic, and the lemon pepper. The wings themselves were scrawny. I expect smaller wings on wing nights? But these were the smallest wings I've ever had. Winglets even. The honey garlic wings were half sauced. The lemon pepper wings were done in Costco's lemon pepper mix. Boring. The bartender was great, so he can have one star. I was sitting at the bar though, and the conversations the servers were loudly having were pretty bad. "Oh my gawd, I'm like, so hungover" or "don't fucking go near table 14? They're my regulars and they tip well" and more on that like. Pass for me. read more

We just stopped in for one. And it really was just one ! ( lol ) . Happy Hour too ! We both had a double Vodka & Cran. $ 7.25 each. Good deal. Our server has been working there for 34 years ! Omg, thats a lot of miles, and a lot of drinks ! Good atmosphere. Good lay-out. Not too noisy , depending on where you choose to sit. Have not eaten here for a long long time, but what I saw going by, looked very good. Great location in the mall. Easy access. read more

I do come often, and I dont mind the burger. But last Friday I was very disappointed with the lack of back up with their credit card machine. To pay the bill we were only options were the ATM inside the pub.... this should be addressed at the beginning of the meal instead of the end of it. read more

Terrible. Ordered an all time favourite- Fox Tracks to have it come out burnt and lacking. Talked to the waitress - who said, and I quote; "I looked at that and thought it didn't look good - but I thought I would bring it out and see what you said." Sad. A pretty busy place, especially during the weekends. Get there early if you want a seat. Last couple times I've been there we had to leave as there was just no room for our group. 14 types of draft beer on tap so standin' isn't too bad. Close to the shopping district and quite a few of the motels/inns. It is around back of the shopping mall. read more

Fox n Hounds was a Friday night staple in the late eighties while attending trade school at what is now TRU. The bar hasn't changed that much, nor does it seem to age. Still popular with locals there were a few tables with large groups of happy patrons when I dropped in Sunday afternoon. They still serve actual pint size pints of draft in actual mugs with handles!!! A welcome surprise and not a bad deal at $6. Daily happy hours offer $4 domestic beer, discount appys ( the ribs were good) and $4 highballs. They use premium spirits and the bartender can mix a decent drink. Sadly you almost have to tackle a server to get their attention. They pick up, they drop off and not much else. A little chit chat and some info on the house specials would go a long way in making an average experience into a great one. read more

The food has stayed relatively passable but recently the prices of the specials have more than doubled. I dont think it has kept up with the increasing quality in kamloops for the price and there are better options in town now. read more

My favourite bar in Kamloops! Mostly because it's a five minute walk from my house. Plus they let me use their bathroom without buying anything when my room mate would spend an hour pooping or taking really long showers or pooping in the shoer in our shared bathroom when I really needed to go. I have been here multiple times and each time has been great! Servers are amazing and food is good. Came here for the boxing fight and met the owner and he is an awful person. I feel terrible for all of the staff working here. He made us feel incredibly uncomfortable by saying he was going to take our table away because "the fight was expensive and he expects butts in the seats to pay for it". I'll remind you that there were over 100 people in the pub and each person payed a 10 dollar cover charge and is expected to spend at least $25 on their bill. So they clearly met that goal to pay for the fight and were just being extremely greedy and didn't care about making anybody upset or uncomfortable. Will not be coming back for an event and will make sure all university students don't as well read more
