Wow! Just wow! From the very 1st call they were able to accommodate us to their closest time after we had a very horrible experience with another zipline. All what you need to know - is you must to go to this place, this is the best zipline in all Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area. Very friendly customer service, very knowledgable, professional, friendly and nice overall. We love our guides: Tim and Tom, they were so patient with us, very fun and friendly. We love the whole time we spend there, and definitely coming back again. We did waterfall course and tomorrow going to do a Goliath course (can't wait). Everything from the beginning to its very end was an amazing and must to go experience. Go local!

Zipline

It was so fun and worth the money!! The hike was worth the gorgeous waterfall view. Of course the Zipline was top tier! Tim and Tom were our guides and they were the best!!! 10/10 recommend. You get great pictures for a fair price as well after zip lining. We'll be back!

I'm so glad we came here! It was the perfect way to spend a morning with my dad and four year old son. We lucked out and had sunshine and 70 degree weather on a Friday in November. We visited from about 10a-1p and mostly had the place to ourselves since we weren't zip lining. They gave us a map and explained everywhere we could explore. Very helpful! We started by walking through the tiny museum (about the size of a small shack) and to their bridge. It is quite long, but not as high up as others I've visited (good thing if anyone in your party is afraid of heights lol). On the other side there are smaller bridges between a handful of trees. My son loved running through these! This is also where you find the wishing wall (you hang a brightly colored paper with your with written in it and then ring the bell so it comes true). From there we walked the hike to the waterfall. Most of it is up hill, which was a beautiful and refreshing way to start the morning. My son had no problem running up and all around. It was the perfect length hike for his somewhat limited stamina. We also did the the little river walk trail. You can easily cross closer to the water. We were told that we're welcome to play in the water. So we tossed stones and even enjoyed the hammocks there. Just be careful if there was recent rain because things can get muddy (which led to me taking a tumble lol). Next, we walked by the climbing wall which had a kids sand box next it it. My son loved playing there. While he did, I walked through the Cider store where you can sample every kind they have! My son loved the apple juice. Lastly, we headed to the kids obstacle course. I couldn't find any pictures only or many descriptions of it, so I had no idea what to expect and if my boy would care for it at all. So here's what you need to know.... It's supposed to be like "the ground is lava" kind of game. The course probably has ten different sections - some like a balance beam, some are logs spaced out just enough at different heights, some are ropes or ropes and logs tied together and you have hang on and kind of swing from one to the next. I'm thinking your kid needs to be at least four years old and a decent climber to have any interest in this. Some parts are actually quite challenging. But the last thing is a miniature zip line. The line is only about six feet of the ground and you simply hold onto the handlebar to glide across. After we had completed the obstacle course, we did this zip line several times as we had the place to ourselves for about 45 minutes. Lots of fun! We'd definitely consider visiting again the next time we're in town!

Great time zip lining

We had a great time Tim and Mich were the best guides. They made sure we were safe and had A Ton of FUN!! Long fast zip lines with over a hour of fun and excitement. We will definitely keep it on our fun to do list every time we come to the area!

Tackle a series of five different extreme zip lines and beautiful scenery of the mountains!

We did the Waterfall Canopy Zip Lining, we had 3 in our group plus another group of 6. Robbie & Shane were a lot of fun and entertaining. Robbie did a great job catching us/ assisting us with the landing, he was super friendly. Shane did a great job of reviewing safety with us, ensuring we knew what we could and couldn't do. Shane even took the time to show me how to do a flip of the platform while I was taking off. The view was great, however my group and I don't recall seeing a waterfall, however it is completely possible we missed it. Overall a great experience. Hopefully Shane and/or Robbie are your guides, you will have a great time.

We had a fantastic time at Foxfire Mountain! Our family of 5 arrived at 12:50 for our 1:30 zipline time. We spent this time walking around the beautiful property and walking a short trail. Once we arrived, we really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't overly packed! It really felt like you were hanging out on a family farm. We reserved our time a week ahead of time, so we only had to sign our waivers. The process was simple. The bridge and the views were absolutely beautiful and serene. The leaves were just starting to turn. We were back in the office area by 1:15 for our zipline time. I wished we had arrived a little sooner to explore the property, so if you do the waterfall zipline, I would allow more time for this. We were happy to find that they had lockers for our belongings to use for free. Our tour had our family of 5, plus another couple, and 2 zip lines guys that were hilarious. Safety was always a priority, and the were knowledgeable and patient. (Especially since I had no idea what I was doing!) There were a total of 7 (I believe) ziplines, and it took a total of an hour and a half. There were pictures taken at the end by a professional photographer, and the prices of the photos were very reasonable. Overall, we really enjoyed of visit, and plan on doing the Goliath when we return back to town! A huge thanks to the zip line guides that helped me do the upside down zip! None of the others in my family did a trick, so I looked like the coolest. ;)

Beautiful beautiful. My family and I loved everything they had to offer. Nice hike to the top where the waterfall is. Took about an hour to get there. Cute museum with civil war era history. Learned a lot about Annie Oakley. Kids enjoyed the rock climbing wall. Little games here and there. Great time and the bridge was fun to walk across. Just the right amount of sway to make it thrilling. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Thank you all.

The Sinks is a lovely waterfall along the river. There is a small parking lot with about a dozen spaces where we found parking. An observation area is a short walk from parking. A sign describes the area and that the falls were manmade. During the late 1800's the river was used to transport logs/timber to the nearby town of Elkmont. After a storm, flood waters caused a jam in the river. Dynamite was used to restore water flow. The blast resulted in a twist in the river and creation of the waterfall. A set of stone steps leads up a hill, offering lovey views of the falls. There are dozens of waterfalls in the Park. My visit to Kuwohi was a highlight of my visit to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The drive up to the summit is breathtaking. There are several overlooks along the way to stop and enjoy the views. When we arrived, it was about 20 degrees colder than in Gatlinburg and it was very windy. Fortunately, we had dressed warm for the hike. The half mile trail is paved and accessible, however, the climb is straight up and was very difficult for some people. At the top of the trail we passed the Appalachian Trail. Then we found a fantastic Mid Century concrete spiral structure to climb. At the top, is an observation deck with placards describing the magnificent views of Tennessee and North Carolina. The modern observation deck was completed in 1960, replacing a wooden structure. Thomas Lanier Clingman was one of the early explorers that mapped the region in the 1850's. Kuwohi was (and still is) a sacred mountain of the Cherokee people. The mountain held Magic Lake that is believed to have healing powers for those who value the earth and its people. Parking permits are required to park in the large lot. Permits can be purchased on site for $5/day. Restroom facilities are available, but no running water. A nearby Visitors Center sells maps, shirts and other hiking gear. I called it Adventures of returns…read more A fair lady, a desperate housewife, and an everyday aunty - a trio that should be shopping instead wondered into the Smoky Mountain. Originally they had planned to just breathe some fresh air and shoot a few photos of people frightened by black bears. In the end the experience turned out to be one of the most challenging day of their lives. The plan in the beginning was simple. Hike a 3 mile trail up 1500 meters to the Rainbow Fall, and return four hours later to the parking to have a picnic. There would be no need for a raincoat or umbrella since there was no possibility to encounter any afternoon thunder storms. The scene was pretty. The sound of the creek was soothing. The first three miles wasn't as hard as expected. After taking a break and some pictures at the waterfall, it was time to return. But suddenly, an unusual rush of adrenaline came through the trio, they decided to hike up another 2.2miles to the highest point (2010M) of all the Smoky Mountain trails. At the top was a romantic log cabin where they could enjoy a nice meal, "Liked" by many web reviewers. Even the aunty didn't think twice to put on her helmet (hat), and grabbed her gun (sticks picked in woods) and went forward ambitiously. The trail turned out to be extremely rocky throughout, with wild bees constantly buzzing around the ears. The fair lady even saw a black shadow flash across the trail and the three knew that the stories of black bears were not imagined. But no one mentioned giving up and turning around, everyone seemed willing to make the extra effort for the cabin cuisine. 2.2 mile was actually 4 mile, and was 5 extra hours of climbing. The romantic cabin was actually only a woodshed. It turned out that people went there to experience a primitive life. Basic supplies for cabins are delivered by a llama once a day. The fancy meal that many people "Liked" was actually a basic meal for survival (bagel, cheese, cookies and unlimited Hot chocolate). The three women gnawed their bagels silently, while the fair lady thought she certainly could get out the mountain before thunderstorms if she didn't need to care the other two. The desperate housewife was disappointed that a grilled chicken became a cold bagel. The everyday aunty thought the llama would probably be a great ride to get back to the bottom the mountain! The bagels filled up their stomachs as well as their minds. They must have the same goal - rush down the mountain before dark. Clouds started gathering and the trio knew, during the next 5 hours, they must have immense courage and luck to get out of the mountains. Before they finished the first mile, thunder and lightning raged from the sky, and soybean sized hails shot like BB bullets for more than 20 minutes, followed by pouring rain. The trail under their feet became a river, and they held their tears as they walked carefully on the shoulder wide road to avoid slipping into the valley. The fair lady became the leading general Mulan, the desperate housewife was the center coordinator as Mu,GuiYin, and even the everyday aunty acted viciously like the Lady Jade Fox limping up and down, not letting the other two fall behind. Seven miles seemed never-ending. Just before dark, a sign that told them they were only 0.4 miles away from the parking lot finally made them laugh . The journey in the mountain lasted over 12 hours. With no idea what the fair lady and rich housewife was thinking, the everyday aunty just wanted to hit "Like" for the review on the Mount Le Conte's web page after a good sleep.

We had a fabulous visit to this vast natural wonder. We learned that Park is the largest natural habitat in the continental U.S. The signature "smoky" appearance of the mountains is caused by an evaporation of organic rich moisture released by the vegetation within the Park. We started our visit by stopping at the visitors center to pick up a parking permit ($5/day) and maps ($1). I was glad we picked up maps because there is very little internet connectivity in the park, so we lost our navigation tools. The leaves were not on the trees yet (April) so we had magnificent uninterrupted views of the mountains and skylines. Spring wild flowers were in bloom. And we actually saw a mother bear with two cubs crossing the road. Each day during our visit we explored a different part of the park. We hiked to waterfalls and enjoyed scenic overlooks. We enjoyed exploring historic cabins and cemeteries. Popular sites were crowded and sometimes we had to wait for parking. Plan to arrive early. The park is filled with parking areas to pull off and enjoy the views or hike. Rest areas are available at many of the major sites. Leased dogs are only allowed in camping and parking areas and on two of the many trails. Bring good walking shoes, a hiking stick is helpful, water and sun glasses. You probably need to bring snacks, but keep those secure from wildlife.
