Absolute disaster masquerading as a dealership If you enjoy having your time wasted, your intelligence insulted, and your wallet treated like a piñata, then Fox Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram might be your dream destination. For anyone else with a functioning brain and a vehicle they care about, stay far away. They had my truck for four full days and managed to accomplish exactly nothing. No fixes. No progress. Just excuses. The highlight of this circus was being flat-out lied to by Mariah, who claimed their fuel filters had "water damage" and that she was saving me $400 by not installing them. That would have been generous... if it were true. It wasn't. It was fiction. Poorly written fiction. Then came the punchline: a quote of $5,000+ to fix an oil leak in my diesel engine. Five. Thousand. Dollars. For context, I'm getting the same exact job done for $1,500 at DW Diesel. Turns out honest diesel mechanics still exist. Just not here. They also ignored a very obvious bearing noise coming from one of my rims. Didn't fix it. Didn't explain it. Didn't even bother answering my questions about it. Apparently silence is part of their premium service package. To make things worse, Mariah's texts were rude, dismissive, and dripping with attitude. If customer service were a crime, this place would be doing hard time. This dealership used to be decent. Ever since Fox sold it to whoever's running this operation now, it's gone straight downhill. What's left is a service department built on inflated pricing, misused trust, and outright dishonesty. Do yourself a favor. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. Take your vehicle anywhere else. Literally anywhere. A random mechanic with a socket set and a conscience would be an upgrade. Fox Auburn's service department isn't just bad. Upfront...not your typical dealership. They listen to my needs and my wants, worked with me to get to where I needed to be, did not attempt to blow smoke up my backside and were an overall pleasure to work with. Everyone from Alex (On Line Sales Mngr) to Kenny (Salesman) to Jason the Financial Mgr were upfront and honest with me. No pressured sales gimmicks. I have nothing negative to say about anyone I dealt with. From my initial online interest through the test drive, all the paperwork and then to taking ownership my experience was hassle free. My only complaint, is that during the State inspection process they discovered that the front ball joints needed to be replaced and that delayed me taking ownership by 2 days. Good that it was repaired prior to me takin...bad I had to wait 2days. I would recommend this dealership. read more

Ignorant service department. "Service Advisors" are desk clerks with no interest and even less understanding of your service needs. I don't know how dealers like Fox remain in business. What's most frustrating is I don't care what it costs to keep my vehicle is good order, but I do care about no having to interact with attitude heavy morons that demand conformance to their model--no matter how ridiculous and inconvenient it is. My car was traded in and my son purchased a new 22 JEEP fast forward a month and a half and I'm getting a letter that my vehicle was impounded in Jersey City, my vehicle that was traded in TO THEM and they were too cheap to pay the transfer title fee so they sold my car with an OPEN TITLE to an auction. When I called to speak to the sales manager he basically told me it's not their problem, they sold it to another company, it's out of their control. I've only had bad experiences with this dealership. Not fixing my vehicle under warranty, dismissing noises in my truck saying it's fine, keeping my truck for days just for them to say "nothing is wrong with it and that it's normal and has along life ahead . While there was an obvious engine noise, without offering me a loaner and when I asked for one they were going to charge me. It was way over 8 hours of diagnosing and I know if they take more than 8 hours to diagnose the loaner should be covered under warranty, but no to them it's not. Which now my engine is seized and they won't fix it under warranty. On top of all that they have to audacity to tell corporate that the vehicle hasn't had an oil change in 59,000 miles when I only bought it at 37,000 miles. Haven't even had it for a year and this happens. They've done nothing but yank me and my truck around every time I bring it in it's ridiculous. The salesman from the start was reassuring that my daughter did not need a co-signer for her new lease since she has been with them for 6 years She placed a downpayment to hold the vehicle she test drove and fell in love with Again the salesman was very positive and reassuring it was all ready to go and complete the said paperwork after 1 week of dealing with this dealership. My daughter returned again at end of the week with the mindset she would be driving home her brand new leased jeep As she sat down with the said salesmen he redirected her to the finance office. After or more days after all info was given to this dealership Suddenly she was told " oh I'm sorry you will need a co-signer " because she lacked by 25 points the recommend credit score that Chrysler financial accepted! After she has leased two prior jeeps with the salesman said that speaks for itself but to turn around and reject her. I am very disappointed with my experience at this dealership! I took my truck in for an oil change tire rotation and a diagnostic of what's going on with my heater AC since it stopped blowing. After waiting three hours I was told that it was a five dollar fuse that was the problem for the AC/heater...so I thought that was good news however my bill was $227. This dealership saw me coming A mile away and instead of checking the fuses first they Took advantage and overcharged me on labor and since that fuse isn't covered by my extended warranty they really made money on me. I am out of work due to the pandemic and in New York taking care of my elderly mother I think this is really crappy on their part and I will never return to this dealership again and I will make sure none of my family or friends do either read more

I have had the car less than 3 months and already had it in the shop 3 times. I was lied to and felt manuplited into my purchase. I called and they told me "bring it right in" manager said they would take care of it..3 days later they let me know the radiator is cracked, the thermostat is blown and it needs a coolant flush 1,800.00 worth of repair- I ask them okay how can we make it right, I had yet to make even my 3rd payment on the car. The manager leads the conversation with "your outside of lemon law" refused to correct the problem. Asks me why I didn't buy the extended warranty. I bought a 2021 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Big Horn in February 2021 here. About a month later I discovered that the optional trailer reverse steering control, a new option for the 2021 year, did not work with either of my trailers. Apparently my truck was one of the first with the option. And while it took 4 months, several visits with my trailers, and a visit from an FCA engineer to figure out why it didn't work, I was treated well, with a loaner vehicle for each visit. I would give 0 stars if I could. Please do your self a favor, and avoid doing business on any level with Fox Chrysler Jeep RAM. For a company that supposedly "prides itself" on its customer service, they certainly do not know how to treat their customers. I recently Purchased a 2016 Dodge Challenger with less then 28000 miles on it, and have had nothing but problems with it since day one of buying it. It's shocking that a dealership will let a vehicle be sold in such poor maintenance, and flat out refused to stick by their product and do anything about it. The first time I had the car at highway speeds, it starts violently shaking. All 4 tires were severely out of balance. They suggested bringing it back, and paying for a rebalancing out of pocket. I live over an hour away so traveling that far with it in that condition isn't a good idea. So I decide to take it someplace local. It happens, no big deal. I let it go. On the way to have it fixed, I decide wash my car, in a touch-less car wash. It came out 4 times louder then going in. The shop found the broken pipe pictured in this post. It was so rotted that the water pressure, from a touch-less car wash, was able to do that. Mechanic quoted me, from dodge, that the part to replace it, is $1400. Contacted dealership again, they said bring it in, and they'll take a look. Took entire next day off work, drove the hour back to dealer, they inspect it, submitted it to the sales team to do a "good faith" fix, which they denied, only stating multiple times that "They don't have to fix it, because it isn't covered by the N.Y.S. lemon law." They did however offer for me to pay for it out of pocket again, for $1600. $200 more then what was previously quoted to me. Mind you, this was all within a 3 week period of buying the vehicle. I'll never be doing any business with this dealership again, will be going out of my way to suggest against it from everyone I come in contact with, be contacting the better business bureau, and the state attorney general about this matter. Called Chrysler service and got the jeep towed to Fox. Took Nine days but they did fix it. Now I can finally drive my new car two months later. Last April had it in for NYS Inspection. At that time the lady in the service department told me she noticed the Valvoline sticker and that I had four fee oil changes and tire rotations with the car? Called made an appointment for a recall two weeks in advance, dropped car off night before, at the same time I inquired if they could handle the airbag recall on the jeep also, I was told no parts for the jeep, they can not get them. On the day of the appointment i get a call that the DO NOT HAVE the parts for the Durango that had the appointment and can not get them there are none available. Also I had no appointment.. Had to find another ride pick up the truck in Auburn and drive to Syracuse where the dealer took it right in and it was done the next day and they swapped out for the jeep airbag recall.. all parts in stock.. Run!!! Lol bought a 2018 Jeep wrangler 3/6/20. They had the cars dash board taking apart when I looked at the car. They said they had to fix the heated seats. They assured me it would be fixed when I picked up the car. It was not and would I be willing to take the car and bring it back when the part came in. Stupidly I said yes. Here we are 5/6/20 still no part. Also, I was told by the salesman that floor mats were included with the car per the ad. Well no mats and I had to buy them. I would never wish this service on my worst enemy. We came in as loyal Chrysler customers and our salesmen completely botched our lease deal, causing us multiple trips and time spent. We recently moved and were in the middle of changing our address and after the Jeep was off the lot, the sales manager borderline harassed us to provide documentation for change of address, which we had not received yet, because they had not settled their paperwork with the bank. We were harassed via phone and text for WEEKS while we were at the mercy of the postal service. After all of this, the most they could offer was $100 off of our first payment, which hardly paid for our gas for trips there and back. The service department is no better. We had a deer hit us 5 months after getting the Jeep, and due to the conditions of where we live, I repeatedly asked for a 4-wheel drive vehicle as a rental. I called the day prior to confirm, and was met with extreme disrespect as to why I was calling as the request was on the calendar and in my folder. I called the day of to confirm again, again met with disrespect. I arrive to drop off my vehicle, and am met sub a 2-wheel drive vehicle. I asked if my request was on the reservation, and they stated it was both in the calendar and on my folder but that they did not have any at the moment. They then asked if I wanted to come back. They had already scheduled me two months out from the collision and I had made the commute 35 minutes out. So I took the vehicle. It was absolutely disgusting, smells terrible, sticky steering wheel, and is nothing in comparison to my Jeep that I pay them for and was promised would be rented. I wouldn't have to write this review to the public if only they would give me the owners email, which I asked for multiple times along the way. I even asked to back out of the lease deal and have my turned in vehicle returned to me, which they denied me the right to. Again, would not wish this on my worst enemy. Purchased a used jeep wrangler in June, salesman Fred was great. First day home parking brake did not work. Later brought back for wheel bearing, they wanted $113 to tell me it was a tire. It turned out to be a wheel bearing. Then in Oct turned the heater on for the first time and no heat on driver side. They said no problem bring it in. Next day they said I owed them $113 to tell me I needed a new heater core $1,600.00 plus Tax. Also the $1,2000 extended warranty didn't cover a heater core. Took it to a local mechanic who flushed heater core and we now have plenty of heat. Needless to say I'll never go back there again. read more

The service department with the dealership is awful. Went in with one particular issue and they gave me a laundry list of things wrong with a bill around $2,000. I asked for a break down of how they determined those other issues because I haven't noticed anything and they couldn't give me anything stated they could be maintenance timing repairs but no where in the Manual did it show anything. Took it to another location explained the issue they torn the auto apart nothing was wrong but my original issue my exhaust. They scammed my mother. We viewed a car together, they would not come down on the price at all so she paid sticker even though the same car was in Ithaca $2000 cheaper. She wouldn't shop around because she has "chemo brain" and let them talk her in to the car. She had to go back two days later to pick it up. I couldn't go with her the second time and they took advantage of her. When we were there on Saturday we were told the navigation would be activated and the code is in the glove box and they just need to enter it. On Monday when she went back to pick it up they said it would cost her $600 to activate it. She is a pushover and let them walk all over her.
