They may not have the best selection of lager but once you're there you don't mind. They have a lovely, green and well taken care of beer garden. This is a big bonus, especially during spring and summer. There is a roof over it, so even if it rains you can still enjoy sitting outdoors. We almost always get free treats as well; chips, sausages, mini burgers, sandwiches etc. which is very nice, they are all very good at making you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. Despite having to sit near a guy who had to make sure all of London could hear him, it was great. We both got a couple of beers and I got the Lord Nelson, a burger with with bacon and egg. It was really good, but impossible to eat like a hamburger. Service was great!
